ਆਗਿਆ ਤੁਮਰੀ ਮੀਠੀ ਲਾਗਉ ਕੀਓ ਤੁਹਾਰੋ ਭਾਵਉ ॥
aagi-aa tumree meethee laaga-o kee-o tuhaaro bhaava-o.
O’ God, bless me that Your will may always deem sweet to me and whatever You do, should seem pleasing to me.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਮਿੱਠੀ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਰਹੇ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਰਹੇ।
ਜੋ ਤੂ ਦੇਹਿ ਤਹੀ ਇਹੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤੈ ਆਨ ਨ ਕਤਹੂ ਧਾਵਉ ॥੨॥
jo too deh tahee ih tariptai aan na kathoo Dhaava-o. ||2||
I may feel contented with whatever You give me, and I may not go elsewhere for anything. ||2||
ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਉਸੇ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ (ਮੇਰਾ) ਇਹ ਮਨ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟ ਰਹੇ, ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਭੀ ਹੋਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਭਟਕਦਾ ਨਾਹ ਫਿਰਾਂ ॥੨॥
ਸਦ ਹੀ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਜਾਨਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਗਲ ਰੇਣ ਹੋਇ ਰਹੀਐ ॥
sad hee nikat jaan-o parabh su-aamee sagal rayn ho-ay rahee-ai.
O’ my Master-God, I may always deem You near me; we may always live humbly like the dust of the feet of others.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਭਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਹੋਇ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਲਹੀਐ ॥੩॥
saaDhoo sangat ho-ay paraapat taa parabh apunaa lahee-ai. ||3||
When we get to join the company of the Guru, then we realize God. ||3||
ਜਦੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਹਾਸਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਦੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲਈਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਹਮ ਛੋਹਰੇ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਤੂ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹਮਰੋ ਮੀਰਾ ॥
sadaa sadaa ham chhohray tumray too parabh hamro meeraa.
O’ God, forever and ever, I am Your little servant and You are my Master.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ, ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਹਾਂ। ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹੈ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਤੁਮ ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਤੁਮਾਰੋ ਖੀਰਾ ॥੪॥੩॥੫॥
naanak baarik tum maat pitaa mukh naam tumaaro kheeraa. ||4||3||5||
O’ God, Nanak is Your child and You are my mother and my father; Your Name is like milk in my mouth. ||4||3||5||

One eternal God, realized by the grace of the true Guru.
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਮਾਗਉ ਦਾਨੁ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਨਾਮ ॥
maaga-o daan thaakur naam.
O’ God, I beg for the gift of Your Name.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਦਾਨ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਅਵਰੁ ਕਛੂ ਮੇਰੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਚਾਲੈ ਮਿਲੈ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
avar kachhoo mayrai sang na chaalai milai kirpaa gun gaam. ||1|| rahaa-o.
Nothing else is going to accompany me in the end; if You bestow mercy, then I may be blessed with singing Your praises. ||1||Pause||
ਹੋਰ ਕੁਝ ਭੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਾ, ਜੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਏ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਰਾਜੁ ਮਾਲੁ ਅਨੇਕ ਭੋਗ ਰਸ ਸਗਲ ਤਰਵਰ ਕੀ ਛਾਮ ॥
raaj maal anayk bhog ras sagal tarvar kee chhaam.
All such things as kingdom, possession, or myriad of enjoyments are all like the shadow of a tree;
ਹੁਕੂਮਤ, ਧਨ, ਤੇ, ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਦ-ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਛਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ;
ਧਾਇ ਧਾਇ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਕਉ ਧਾਵੈ ਸਗਲ ਨਿਰਾਰਥ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥
Dhaa-ay Dhaa-ay baho biDh ka-o Dhaavai sagal niraarath kaam. ||1||
even though a human being ceaselessly runs and adopts different ways to acquire these, yet all his efforts are futile. ||1||
ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਕਈ ਤਰੀਕਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਦੌੜ-ਭੱਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
ਬਿਨੁ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਅਵਰੁ ਜੇ ਚਾਹਉ ਦੀਸੈ ਸਗਲ ਬਾਤ ਹੈ ਖਾਮ ॥
bin govind avar jay chaaha-o deesai sagal baat hai khaam.
To wish for anything other than God’s Name, seems entirely unjustifiable.
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ ਹੋਰ ਹੀ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੱਚੀ ਹੈ।
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤ ਰੇਨ ਮਾਗਉ ਮੇਰੋ ਮਨੁ ਪਾਵੈ ਬਿਸ੍ਰਾਮ ॥੨॥੧॥੬॥
kaho naanak sant rayn maaga-o mayro man paavai bisraam. ||2||1||6||
Nanak says, I beg for the gift of humble service of the saints, so that my mind may find peace and tranquility. ||2||1||6||
ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤਾ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ ॥੨॥੧॥੬॥

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀ ਕੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਹਿ ਸਾਧਾਰੈ ॥
parabh jee ko naam maneh saDhaarai.
O’ my friend, the Name of the reverend God provides support to the mind,
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ (ਹੀ) ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਰਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਜੀਅ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਸੂਖ ਇਸੁ ਮਨ ਕਉ ਬਰਤਨਿ ਏਹ ਹਮਾਰੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jee-a paraan sookh is man ka-o bartan ayh hamaarai. ||1|| rahaa-o.
it is the life, breath and solace of this mind of mine; for me it is like a very precious thing for everyday use. ||1||Pause||
ਇਹੀ ਇਸ ਮਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਜਿੰਦ-ਜਾਨ ਤੇ ਸੁਖ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਕੰਮ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਨਾਮੁ ਜਾਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਤਿ ਹੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੇਰੈ ਪਰਵਾਰੈ ॥
naam jaat naam mayree pat hai naam mayrai parvaarai.
For me, Naam is my social status, Naam is my honor and Naam my family.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਉੱਚੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਹੈ, ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਹੈ, ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਵਾਰ ਹੈ।
ਨਾਮੁ ਸਖਾਈ ਸਦਾ ਮੇਰੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੋ ਕਉ ਨਿਸਤਾਰੈ ॥੧॥
naam sakhaa-ee sadaa mayrai sang har naam mo ka-o nistaarai. ||1||
Naam is my companion who is always with me, and it is God’s Name which is going to ferry me across the world ocean of vices. ||1||
ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਬਿਖੈ ਬਿਲਾਸ ਕਹੀਅਤ ਬਹੁਤੇਰੇ ਚਲਤ ਨ ਕਛੂ ਸੰਗਾਰੈ ॥
bikhai bilaas kahee-at bahutayray chalat na kachhoo sangaaray.
A lot is talked about the existence of sinful pleasures, but none of these accompany any one in the end.
ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਭੋਗ ਬਥੇਰੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੀ।
ਇਸਟੁ ਮੀਤੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੋ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੇਰੈ ਭੰਡਾਰੈ ॥੨॥੨॥੭॥
isat meet naam naanak ko har naam mayrai bhandaarai. ||2||2||7||
Nanak’s dearest friend is God’s Name; God’s Name is the wealth in my treasury. ||2||2||7||
ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ (ਹੀ) ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਵਿਚ (ਧਨ) ਹੈ ॥੨॥੨॥੭॥

ਨੀਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉ ਮਿਟਹੀ ਰੋਗ ॥
neekay gun gaa-o mithee rog.
O’my friend, sing the sublime praises of God; all the afflictions are cured by doing so.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਕਰ। (ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਸਾਰੇ ਰੋਗ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਮੁਖ ਊਜਲ ਮਨੁ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਤੇਰੋ ਰਹੈ ਈਹਾ ਊਹਾ ਲੋਗੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
mukh oojal man nirmal ho-ee hai tayro rahai eehaa oohaa log. ||1|| rahaa-o.
You would receive honor, your mind would become immaculate and you would be peaceful both here and hereafter. ||1||Pause||
ਤੇਰਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਸੰਵਰ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਚਰਨ ਪਖਾਰਿ ਕਰਉ ਗੁਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਮਨਹਿ ਚਰਾਵਉ ਭੋਗ ॥
charan pakhaar kara-o gur sayvaa maneh charaava-o bhog.
I follow the Guru’s teachings with utmost respect and humility and surrender my mind as offering to him.
ਮੈਂ (ਤਾਂ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਧੋ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਆਪਣਾ ਮਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੱਗੇ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ।
ਛੋਡਿ ਆਪਤੁ ਬਾਦੁ ਅਹੰਕਾਰਾ ਮਾਨੁ ਸੋਈ ਜੋ ਹੋਗੁ ॥੧॥
chhod aapat baad ahaNkaaraa maan so-ee jo hog. ||1||
O’ my friend, renounce your self-conceit, contentious nature and egotism, and happily accept whatever happens as the will of God. ||1||
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਤੂੰ ਭੀ ਆਪਾ-ਭਾਵ, ਮਾਇਆ ਵਾਲਾ ਝਗੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਤਿਆਗ, ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿੱਠਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੰਨ ॥੧॥
ਸੰਤ ਟਹਲ ਸੋਈ ਹੈ ਲਾਗਾ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਲਿਖੋਗੁ ॥
sant tahal so-ee hai laagaa jis mastak likhi-aa likhog.
Only the one with preordained destiny is blessed with the opportunity to serve the Guru and follow his teachings.
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿਚ ਉਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉਤੇ (ਧੁਰੋਂ ਇਹ) ਲੇਖ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਏਕ ਬਿਨੁ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕਰਣੈ ਜੋਗੁ ॥੨॥੩॥੮॥
kaho naanak ayk bin doojaa avar na karnai jog. ||2||3||8||
Nanak says, other than the one God, there is no one who is able to bless someone this opportunity. ||2||3||8||
ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ- ਉਸ ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਇਹ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰਨ ਜੋਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੩॥੮॥

O’ true Guru, I have come to Your refuge,
ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਨ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ.
ਮਿਲੈ ਸੂਖੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਸੋਭਾ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਲਾਹਿ ਹਮਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
milai sookh naam har sobhaa chintaa laahi hamaaree. ||1|| rahaa-o.
please remove my anxiety; bestow mercy and bless me with God’s Name which is the celestial peace and glory for me. ||1||Pause||
ਮੇਰੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ, (ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ), ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਏ, ਇਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਸੁਖ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਭਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਅਵਰ ਨ ਸੂਝੈ ਦੂਜੀ ਠਾਹਰ ਹਾਰਿ ਪਰਿਓ ਤਉ ਦੁਆਰੀ ॥
avar na soojhai doojee thaahar haar pari-o ta-o du-aaree.
O’ God! I cannot think of any other source of support; I am completely exhausted and have come to Your refuge.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਆਸਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁੱਝਦਾ, ਹਾਰ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਆ ਪਿਆ ਹਾਂ ।
ਲੇਖਾ ਛੋਡਿ ਅਲੇਖੈ ਛੂਟਹ ਹਮ ਨਿਰਗੁਨ ਲੇਹੁ ਉਬਾਰੀ ॥੧॥
laykhaa chhod alaykhai chhootah ham nirgun layho ubaaree. ||1||
O’ God, ignore the accounts of my misdeeds, I can be saved only if my deeds are not accounted for; I am unvirtuous, please save me from the vices. ||1||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੇਰੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਲੇਖਾ ਨਾਹ ਕਰ, ਮੈਂ ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਸੁਰਖ਼ਰੂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਜੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਲੇਖਾ ਨਾਹ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਏ। ਮੈਂਨੂੰ ਗੁਣਹੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਬਚਾ ਲੈ ॥੧॥
ਸਦ ਬਖਸਿੰਦੁ ਸਦਾ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨਾ ਸਭਨਾ ਦੇਇ ਅਧਾਰੀ ॥
sad bakhsind sadaa miharvaanaa sabhnaa day-ay aDhaaree.
God is always forgiving, always merciful and provides sustenance to all beings.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਸਦਾ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਸਦਾ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਰਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਸੰਤ ਪਾਛੈ ਪਰਿਓ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਇਹ ਬਾਰੀ ॥੨॥੪॥੯॥

ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਅਰਜ਼ੋਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਆ ਪਿਆ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਜਨਮ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲੈ ॥੨॥੪॥੯॥

Raag Todee, Fifth Guru:
ਰਸਨਾ ਗੁਣ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਨਿਧਿ ਗਾਇਣ ॥
rasnaa gun gopaal niDh gaa-in.
O’ my friend, by singing the praises of God, the treasure of virtues,
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦੇ) ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਗੋਪਾਲ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਜੀਭ ਨਾਲ ਗਾਂਵਿਆਂ,
ਸਾਂਤਿ ਸਹਜੁ ਰਹਸੁ ਮਨਿ ਉਪਜਿਓ ਸਗਲੇ ਦੂਖ ਪਲਾਇਣ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
saaNt sahj rahas man upji-o saglay dookh palaa-in. ||1|| rahaa-o.
tranquility, spiritual poise and delight wells up in the mind, and all sorrows depart. ||1||Pause||
ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ, ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
