ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਗਾਈਐ ਆਤਮ ਰੰਗਿ ॥
thaakur gaa-ee-ai aatam rang.
We should sing the praises of God from the core of our heart.
ਦਿਲ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਸਰਣੀ ਪਾਵਨ ਨਾਮ ਧਿਆਵਨ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਵਨ ਸੰਗਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sarnee paavan naam Dhi-aavan sahj samaavan sang. ||1|| rahaa-o.
We intuitively merge in God by remaining in His refuge and meditating on Naam with loving devotion. ||1||Pause||
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕੇ ਕੇ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ- ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਜਨ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਵਸਹਿ ਮੇਰੈ ਹੀਅਰੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਪੁਨੀਤਾ ਦੇਹੀ ॥
jan kay charan vaseh mayrai hee-arai sang puneetaa dayhee.
If the immaculate words of God’s devotees remain in my heart, then in their company I may may become immaculate.
ਜੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸ ਪੈਣ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ।
ਜਨ ਕੀ ਧੂਰਿ ਦੇਹੁ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੈ ਸੁਖੁ ਏਹੀ ॥੨॥੪॥੩੫॥
jan kee Dhoor dayh kirpaa niDh naanak kai sukh ayhee. ||2||4||35||
O’ God, the treasure of mercy, bless me with the humble service of Your devotees; for Nanak, that alone is the spiritual peace. ||2||4||35||
ਹੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼, ਮੈਂ ਨਾਨਕ ਵਾਸਤੇਇਹੀ ਸੁਖ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੪॥੩੫॥

Raag Dhanasri, Fifth Guru:
ਜਤਨ ਕਰੈ ਮਾਨੁਖ ਡਹਕਾਵੈ ਓਹੁ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਜਾਨੈ ॥
jatan karai maanukh dehkaavai oh antarjaamee jaanai.
One makes several efforts to deceive others, but God, the knower of hearts, knows everything.
ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਾਪ ਕਰੇ ਕਰਿ ਮੂਕਰਿ ਪਾਵੈ ਭੇਖ ਕਰੈ ਨਿਰਬਾਨੈ ॥੧॥
paap karay kar mookar paavai bhaykh karai nirbaanai. ||1||
He wears the garb of a renouncer, commits sins and then deny them. ||1||
ਉਹ ਵਿਰਕਤਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਪਹਿਰਾਵੇ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਾਪ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਫਿਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਮੁੱਕਰ ਭੀ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਜਾਨਤ ਦੂਰਿ ਤੁਮਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨੇਰਿ ॥
jaanat door tumeh parabh nayr.
O’ God, You are near at hand but a mortal thinks You are far away.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਪਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ।l
ਉਤ ਤਾਕੈ ਉਤ ਤੇ ਉਤ ਪੇਖੈ ਆਵੈ ਲੋਭੀ ਫੇਰਿ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ut taakai ut tay ut paykhai aavai lobhee fayr. rahaa-o.
A greedy person constantly looks around for You; thinking You are far away, he is attracted towards worldly riches. ||Pause||
ਲਾਲਚੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਧਰ ਉਧਰ ਦੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਮੁੜ-ਮੁੜ ਮਾਇਆ ਵੱਲ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਜਬ ਲਗੁ ਤੁਟੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਮਨ ਭਰਮਾ ਤਬ ਲਗੁ ਮੁਕਤੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥
jab lag tutai naahee man bharmaa tab lag mukat na ko-ee.
As long as the illusion of mind regarding worldly riches is not dispelled, no one can obtain freedom from vices.
ਜਦੋਂ ਤਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ (ਮਾਇਆ ਵਾਲੀ) ਭਟਕਣਾ ਦੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ, ਇਹ (ਲਾਲਚ ਦੇ ਪੰਜੇ ਤੋਂ) ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਇਆਲ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸੰਤੁ ਭਗਤੁ ਜਨੁ ਸੋਈ ॥੨॥੫॥੩੬॥
kaho naanak da-i-aal su-aamee sant bhagat jan so-ee. ||2||5||36||
Nanak says, he alone is a true saint and a devotee, on whom the Master-God is merciful. ||2||5||36||
ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ-ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈਉਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੰਤ ਹੈ ਭਗਤ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੫॥੩੬॥

Raag Dhanasri, Fifth Guru:
ਨਾਮੁ ਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਓ ਹੈ ਅਪੁਨੈ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਕਰਮਾ ॥
naam gur dee-o hai apunai jaa kai mastak karmaa.
My Guru blessed Naam to the one who was preordained for it.
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉਤੇ ਭਾਗ (ਜਾਗ ਪਏ) ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਵੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਾਵੈ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਧਰਮਾ ॥੧॥
naam darirh-aavai naam japaavai taa kaa jug meh Dharmaa. ||1||
In this world, it becomes his faith and religious duty that he inspires others to meditate on Naam. ||1||
ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ (ਫਿਰ) ਸਦਾ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਹੀ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਇਹ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ ਕਰਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਪਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਜਨ ਕਉ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਡਾਈ ਸੋਭ ॥
jan ka-o naam vadaa-ee sobh.
Naam is the glory and greatness of the humble servant of God.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਦੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ (ਹੀ) ਵਡਿਆਈ ਹੈ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਹੈ।
ਨਾਮੋ ਗਤਿ ਨਾਮੋ ਪਤਿ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਮਾਨੈ ਜੋ ਜੋ ਹੋਗ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
naamo gat naamo pat jan kee maanai jo jo hog. ||1|| rahaa-o.
Naam is his high spiritual state and Naam is his honor; he accepts whatever comes to pass. ||1||Pause||
ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਉੱਚੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਨਾਮ ਧਨੁ ਜਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕੈ ਪਾਲੈ ਸੋਈ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਾਹਾ ॥
naam Dhan jis jan kai paalai so-ee pooraa saahaa.
He alone is truly wealthy in whose possession is the wealth of Naam.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਧਨ ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪਾਸ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਾਹੂਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
ਨਾਮੁ ਬਿਉਹਾਰਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਧਾਰਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਲਾਹਾ ॥੨॥੬॥੩੭॥
naam bi-uhaaraa naanak aaDhaaraa naam paraapat laahaa. ||2||6||37||
O’ Nanak, meditation on Naam is the main purpose, which is his support and reward in life. ||2||6||37||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣਾ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਵਿਹਾਰ ਹੈ, ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਖੱਟੀ ਖੱਟਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੬॥੩੭॥

ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਭਏ ਦਰਸ ਪੇਖੇ ਮਾਥੈ ਪਰਉ ਰਵਾਲ ॥
naytar puneet bha-ay daras paykhay maathai para-o ravaal.
O’ God, beholding Your sight, the eyes become immaculate. I wish that I may remain imbued with Your love, as if the dust of Your feet is on my forehead.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹਟ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੋ ਕਿ) ਮੇਰੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਚਰਨ-ਧੂੜ ਟਿਕੀ ਰਹੇ।
ਰਸਿ ਰਸਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਉ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਕੇ ਮੋਰੈ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਬਸਹੁ ਗੋਪਾਲ ॥੧॥
ras ras gun gaava-o thaakur kay morai hirdai bashu gopaal. ||1||
O’ God, make me realize Your presence in my heart so that I may joyfully sing Your praises. ||1||
ਹੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਲਣਹਾਰ! ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਵੱਸ। ਮੈਂ ਬੜੇ ਸੁਆਦ ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ ॥੧॥
ਤੁਮ ਤਉ ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰ ਦਇਆਲ ॥
tum ta-o raakhanhaar da-i-aal.
O’ merciful God, You are my protector.
ਹੇ ਦਇਆ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ (ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ) ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸੁਘਰ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਹੋਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sundar sughar bay-ant pitaa parabh hohu parabhoo kirpaal. ||1|| rahaa-o.
O’ Fatherly God, You are beautiful, wise, and infinite; be merciful on me also.||1||Pause||
ਹੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!ਤੂੰ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਹੈਂ, ਸਿਆਣਾ ਹੈਂ, ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੈਂ। ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭੀ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੋ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਮਹਾ ਅਨੰਦ ਮੰਗਲ ਰੂਪ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਬਚਨ ਅਨੂਪ ਰਸਾਲ ॥
mahaa anand mangal roop tumray bachan anoop rasaal.
O’ God, You are the embodiment of supreme bliss and joy; divine words of Your praises are of incomparable beauty and very pleasing.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਆਨੰਦ-ਸਰੂਪ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਮੰਗਲ-ਰੂਪ ਹੈਂ । ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ ਰਸੀਲੀ ਹੈ।
ਹਿਰਦੈ ਚਰਣ ਸਬਦੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੋ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਾਂਧਿਓ ਪਾਲ ॥੨॥੭॥੩੮॥
hirdai charan sabad satgur ko naanak baaNDhi-o paal. ||2||7||38||
O’ Nanak, God’s love (Name) remains enshrined in the heart of that person who strictly follows to the Guru’s word. ||2||7||38||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਪੱਲੇ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਲਈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਵੱਸੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥੭॥੩੮॥

ਅਪਨੀ ਉਕਤਿ ਖਲਾਵੈ ਭੋਜਨ ਅਪਨੀ ਉਕਤਿ ਖੇਲਾਵੈ ॥
apnee ukat khalaavai bhojan apnee ukat khaylaavai.
In His own way God provides us with food, and in His own way He plays with us.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਖਾਣਾ ਖੁਆਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੁਗਤੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਖਿਡਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਰਬ ਸੂਖ ਭੋਗ ਰਸ ਦੇਵੈ ਮਨ ਹੀ ਨਾਲਿ ਸਮਾਵੈ ॥੧॥
sarab sookh bhog ras dayvai man hee naal samaavai. ||1||
He blesses us with all comforts, enjoyments and delicacies, and he permeates our minds. ||1||
ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਆਦਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਸਦਾ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਹਮਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਦਇਆਲ ॥
hamray pitaa gopaal da-i-aal.
O’ our fatherly God, merciful sustainer of the universe.
ਹੇ ਦਇਆ ਦੇ ਘਰ! ਹੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਲਣਹਾਰ! ਹੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!
ਜਿਉ ਰਾਖੈ ਮਹਤਾਰੀ ਬਾਰਿਕ ਕਉ ਤੈਸੇ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਾਲ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ji-o raakhai mehtaaree baarik ka-o taisay hee parabh paal. ||1|| rahaa-o.
Just as a mother looks after her child, similarly God nurtures us. ||1||Pause||.
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਮੀਤ ਸਾਜਨ ਸਰਬ ਗੁਣ ਨਾਇਕ ਸਦਾ ਸਲਾਮਤਿ ਦੇਵਾ ॥
meet saajan sarab gun naa-ik sadaa salaamat dayvaa.
O’ God, You are our friend and companion; You have all virtues and You are our eternal guide.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼-ਰੂਪ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਸਾਡਾ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਹੈਂ, ਸਜਣ ਹੈਂ, ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ, ਸਭ ਦੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ; ਸਦਾ ਜੀਊਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ;
ਈਤ ਊਤ ਜਤ ਕਤ ਤਤ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਮਿਲੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤ ਸੇਵਾ ॥੨॥੮॥੩੯॥
eet oot jat kat tat tum hee milai naanak sant sayvaa. ||2||8||39||
You are pervading everywhere, here and hereafter. O’ Nanak, God is realized by following the Guru’s teachings.||2||8||39||.
ਤੂੰ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈਂ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆਂ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੮॥੩੯॥

ਸੰਤ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਦਇਆਲ ਦਮੋਦਰ ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਬਿਖੁ ਜਾਰੇ ॥
sant kirpaal da-i-aal damodar kaam kroDh bikh jaaray.
The saintly people are the embodiment of the kind and compassionate God; they burn away their lust, anger and the poison of other vices.
ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੇ ਸੋਮੇ ਦਇਆ ਦੇ ਸੋਮੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹਨ; ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਆਦਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਹਰ ਸਾੜ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਰਾਜੁ ਮਾਲੁ ਜੋਬਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਜੀਅਰਾ ਇਨ ਊਪਰਿ ਲੈ ਬਾਰੇ ॥੧॥
raaj maal joban tan jee-araa in oopar lai baaray. ||1||
I dedicate all my possessions, youth, body and soul to them. ||1||.
ਅਜੇਹੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਜ ਮਾਲ ਜੁਆਨੀ ਸਰੀਰ ਜਿੰਦ-ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਹਿਤਕਾਰੇ ॥.
man tan raam naam hitkaaray.
Those whose minds and hearts are imbued with love of God’s Name,
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਆਨੰਦ ਮੰਗਲ ਸਹਿਤ ਭਵ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਰਿ ਉਤਾਰੇ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sookh sahj aanand mangal sahit bhav niDh paar utaaray. rahaa-o.
they live in peace, poise, bliss, and pleasure; they help many people go across the worldly ocean of vices. ||Pause||.
ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦੇ ਸੁਖ ਆਨੰਦ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ) ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਰਹਾਉ॥
