ਧੰਨਿ ਸੁ ਥਾਨੁ ਧੰਨਿ ਓਇ ਭਵਨਾ ਜਾ ਮਹਿ ਸੰਤ ਬਸਾਰੇ ॥
Dhan so thaan Dhan o-ay bhavnaa jaa meh sant basaaray.
Blessed is that place and blessed is that house where the saintly people reside.
ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਘਰ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਸਰਧਾ ਪੂਰਹੁ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਭਗਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਮਸਕਾਰੇ ॥੨॥੯॥੪੦॥
jan naanak kee sarDhaa poorahu thaakur bhagat tayray namaskaaray. ||2||9||40||
O’ God, fulfill this wish of Nanak, that he may always bow in reverence to Your devotees. ||2||9||40||
ਹੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ! ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰ, ਕਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾਂਦਾ ਰਹੇ ॥੨॥੯॥੪੦॥

Raag Dhanasri, Fifth Guru:
ਛਡਾਇ ਲੀਓ ਮਹਾ ਬਲੀ ਤੇ ਅਪਨੇ ਚਰਨ ਪਰਾਤਿ ॥
chhadaa-ay lee-o mahaa balee tay apnay charan paraat.
The Guru has freed me from the clutches of Maya, the most powerful enemy, by taking me under his protection.
ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਨੀ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਰਮ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਮਾਇਆ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਏਕੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਓ ਮਨ ਮੰਤਾ ਬਿਨਸਿ ਨ ਕਤਹੂ ਜਾਤਿ ॥੧॥
ayk naam dee-o man manntaa binas na kathoo jaat. ||1||
For the stability of my mind, the Guru gave me the mantra of God’s Name, which neither perishes nor goes anywhere. ||1||
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਮੰਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਨਾਹ ਨਾਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਨਾਹ ਕਿਤੇ ਗੁਆਚਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਕੀਨੀ ਦਾਤਿ ॥
satgur poorai keenee daat.
The perfect true Guru bestowed grace upon me;
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ;
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਓ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਉ ਭਈ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਗਾਤਿ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
har har naam dee-o keertan ka-o bha-ee hamaaree gaat. rahaa-o.
he blessed me with the singing of the praises of God’s Name, by doing which I am saved from vices. ||Pause||
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਜੱਸ ਗਾਇਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਅੰਗੀਕਾਰੁ ਕੀਓ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਪੁਨੈ ਭਗਤਨ ਕੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਪਾਤਿ ॥
angeekaar kee-o parabh apunai bhagtan kee raakhee paat.
God has always stood by His devotees and has protected their honor.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ (ਸਦਾ ਹੀ) ਆਪਣੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੱਖ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਲਾਜ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੈ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਚਰਨ ਗਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਪਨੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਓ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤਿ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੪੧॥
naanak charan gahay parabh apnay sukh paa-i-o din raat. ||2||10||41||
O’ Nanak, he who remembered God, has always enjoyed bliss. ||2||10||41||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਫੜ ਲਏ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੪੧॥

Raag Dhanasri, Fifth Guru:
ਪਰ ਹਰਨਾ ਲੋਭੁ ਝੂਠ ਨਿੰਦ ਇਵ ਹੀ ਕਰਤ ਗੁਦਾਰੀ ॥
par harnaa lobh jhooth nind iv hee karat gudaaree.
One passes his entire life stealing the property of others, acting in greed, lying and slandering.
ਪਰਾਇਆ ਧਨ ਚੁਰਾਣਾ, ਲੋਭ ਕਰਨਾ; ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਣਾ, ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਕਰਨੀ-ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਮਰ ਗੁਜ਼ਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਆਸ ਮਿਥਿਆ ਮੀਠੀ ਇਹ ਟੇਕ ਮਨਹਿ ਸਾਧਾਰੀ ॥੧॥
marig tarisnaa aas mithi-aa meethee ih tayk maneh saaDhaaree. ||1||
He considers the mirage like false hopes as true and he makes these false hopes as the support of his mind. ||1||
ਉਹ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਕ ਧੋਖੇ ਦੀਆ ਝੂਠੀਆਂ ਆਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿੱਠੀਆਂ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਹੈ। ਝੂਠੀਆਂ ਆਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਟੇਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਥੰਮ੍ਹੀ ਬਣਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਸਾਕਤ ਕੀ ਆਵਰਦਾ ਜਾਇ ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾਰੀ ॥
saakat kee aavradaa jaa-ay barithaaree.
The life of a faithless cynic goes in vain,
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਗੁਜ਼ਰ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ,
ਜੈਸੇ ਕਾਗਦ ਕੇ ਭਾਰ ਮੂਸਾ ਟੂਕਿ ਗਵਾਵਤ ਕਾਮਿ ਨਹੀ ਗਾਵਾਰੀ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jaisay kaagad kay bhaar moosaa took gavaavat kaam nahee gaavaaree. rahaa-o.
just like a mouse who wastes away loads of paper by nibbling at them and none of that paper is of any use to that foolish creature. ||Pause||
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਚੂਹਾ ਕਾਗ਼ਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਢੇਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਢੇਰ ਟੁੱਕ ਟੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਗਵਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਕਾਗ਼ਜ਼ ਉਸ ਮੂਰਖ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੇ ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਇਹ ਬੰਧਨ ਛੁਟਕਾਰੀ ॥
kar kirpaa paarbarahm su-aamee ih banDhan chhutkaaree.
O’ the Master-God, show mercy and liberate us from these worldly bonds.
ਹੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ) ਇਹਨਾਂ ਬੰਧਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਂ ਦਿਉ।
ਬੂਡਤ ਅੰਧ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਾਢਤ ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾ ਸੰਗਾਰੀ ॥੨॥੧੧॥੪੨॥
boodat anDh naanak parabh kaadhat saaDh janaa sangaaree. ||2||11||42||
O’ Nanak; by bringing them in the holy congregation, God saves these ignorant people who are sinking in the love for worldly riches. ||2||11||42||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਡੁੱਬਦਿਆਂ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਡੁੱਬਣੋਂ ਬਚਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੨॥੧੧॥੪੨॥

ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪਨਾ ਸੀਤਲ ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਛਾਤੀ ॥
simar simar su-aamee parabh apnaa seetal tan man chhaatee.
By always meditating on my Master-God, my body, mind, and heart have become tranquil.
ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਦਾ ਨਾਮ) ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਦੇਹ, ਮਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਠੰਢ ਪੈ ਗਈ ਹੈ ।
ਰੂਪ ਰੰਗ ਸੂਖ ਧਨੁ ਜੀਅ ਕਾ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਮੋਰੈ ਜਾਤੀ ॥੧॥
roop rang sookh Dhan jee-a kaa paarbarahm morai jaatee. ||1||
The supreme God is my beauty, color, peace, wealth and social status. ||1||
ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਭੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ, ਰੰਗ ਹੈ, ਸੁਖ ਹੈ, ਧਨ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਉੱਚੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਰਸਨਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਸਾਇਨਿ ਮਾਤੀ ॥
rasnaa raam rasaa-in maatee.
My tongue is immersed in the nectar of God’s Name.
ਮੇਰੀ ਜੀਭਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ-ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਲ ਖੀਵੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
ਰੰਗ ਰੰਗੀ ਰਾਮ ਅਪਨੇ ਕੈ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਨਿਧਿ ਥਾਤੀ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
rang rangee raam apnay kai charan kamal niDh thaatee. rahaa-o.
It is imbued with the love of its God, and God’s Name is my treasure of spiritual wealth. ||Pause||
ਇਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗੀਜੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਕੰਵਲ ਹੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਦਾ ਖਜਾਨਾ ਹਨ ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਜਿਸ ਕਾ ਸਾ ਤਿਨ ਹੀ ਰਖਿ ਲੀਆ ਪੂਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਭਾਤੀ ॥
jis kaa saa tin hee rakh lee-aa pooran parabh kee bhaatee.
He to whom I belonged has saved me; perfect is God’s way of saving.
ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਮੈਂ ਮਲਕੀਅਤ ਸਾ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਤਰੀਕਾ।
ਮੇਲਿ ਲੀਓ ਆਪੇ ਸੁਖਦਾਤੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖੀ ਪਾਤੀ ॥੨॥੧੨॥੪੩॥
mayl lee-o aapay sukh-daatai naanak har raakhee paatee. ||2||12||43||
O’ Nanak, on His own, the bliss-giving benefactor united me with Himself and saved my honor. ||2||12||43||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਾਤੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਭੇਦ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਤ ਰੱਖ ਲਈ ॥੨॥੧੨॥੪੩॥

ਦੂਤ ਦੁਸਮਨ ਸਭਿ ਤੁਝ ਤੇ ਨਿਵਰਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪੁ ਤੁਮਾਰਾ ॥
doot dusman sabh tujh tay nivrahi pargat partaap tumaaraa.
O’ God, all the vices and enemies of Your devotees are eradicated by Your grace; Your glory is manifest everywhere.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! (ਤੇਰੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਨ ਤੇਰੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਦੂਰ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੇਰਾ ਤੇਜ-ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ (ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ) ਪਰਤੱਖ ਹੈ।
ਜੋ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਭਗਤ ਦੁਖਾਏ ਓਹੁ ਤਤਕਾਲ ਤੁਮ ਮਾਰਾ ॥੧॥
jo jo tayray bhagat dukhaa-ay oh tatkaal tum maaraa. ||1||
Whoever harms Your devotees, You destroy them in an instant. ||1||
ਜੇਹੜਾ ਜੇਹੜਾ (ਦੂਤੀ) ਤੇਰੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ (ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤੇ) ਮਾਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੧॥
ਨਿਰਖਉ ਤੁਮਰੀ ਓਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨੀਤ ॥
nirkha-o tumree or har neet.
O’ God, I always look to You for protection.
ਹੇ ਮੁਰਾਰੀ! ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਲ (ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਤੱਕਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ਸਹਾਇ ਹੋਹੁ ਦਾਸ ਕਉ ਕਰੁ ਗਹਿ ਉਧਰਹੁ ਮੀਤ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
muraar sahaa-ay hohu daas ka-o kar geh uDhrahu meet. rahaa-o.
O’ God, be the helper of Your devotee; O’ my Friend! take my hand and save me from vices. ||Pause||
ਹੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਦੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਮਦਦਗਾਰ ਬਣ।ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਦਾ)ਹੱਥ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲੈ ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਸੁਣੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਠਾਕੁਰਿ ਮੇਰੈ ਖਸਮਾਨਾ ਕਰਿ ਆਪਿ ॥
sunee bayntee thaakur mayrai khasmaanaa kar aap.
My God, listened to my prayer and like a master provided me protection.
ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸੁਣ ਲਈ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਨਾਹ (ਰਾਖੀ) ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਅਨਦ ਭਏ ਦੁਖ ਭਾਗੇ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਪਿ ॥੨॥੧੩॥੪੪॥
naanak anad bha-ay dukh bhaagay sadaa sadaa har jaap. ||2||13||44||
O’ Nanak, by always meditating on God, all my woes went away, and I enjoyed all kinds of peace and bliss. ||2||13||44||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਨਿੱਤ ਨਿੱਤ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੈ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ, ਆਨੰਦ ਬਣ ਗਏ, ॥੨॥੧੩॥੪੪॥

ਚਤੁਰ ਦਿਸਾ ਕੀਨੋ ਬਲੁ ਅਪਨਾ ਸਿਰ ਊਪਰਿ ਕਰੁ ਧਾਰਿਓ ॥
chatur disaa keeno bal apnaa sir oopar kar Dhaari-o.
That God, who has extended His power in all four directions of the universe, has provided full protection to His devotee, as if He has placed His hand on his head.
ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਚੌਹੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਲਾ ਵਰਤਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਟਾਖ੍ਯ੍ਯ ਅਵਲੋਕਨੁ ਕੀਨੋ ਦਾਸ ਕਾ ਦੂਖੁ ਬਿਦਾਰਿਓ ॥੧॥
kirpaa kataakh-y avlokan keeno daas kaa dookh bidaari-o. ||1||
He casts His glance of grace on his devotee and eradicates all his sorrows. ||1||
ਉਹ ਮੇਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਵੱਲ ਤੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਰਾਖੇ ਗੁਰ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ॥
har jan raakhay gur govind.
The divine Guru always protects His devotees.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ (ਸਦਾ) ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕੰਠਿ ਲਾਇ ਅਵਗੁਣ ਸਭਿ ਮੇਟੇ ਦਇਆਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਬਖਸੰਦ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
kanth laa-ay avgun sabh maytay da-i-aal purakh bakhsand. rahaa-o.
By keeping them in His refuge, the all pervading God who is forgiving and merciful erases all their sins. ||Pause||
ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਗਲ ਨਾਲ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਦਇਆ-ਦਾ-ਘਰ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਣਹਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਔਗੁਣ ਮਿਟਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਜੋ ਮਾਗਹਿ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਤੇ ਸੋਈ ਸੋਈ ਦੇਵੈ ॥
jo maageh thaakur apunay tay so-ee so-ee dayvai.
Whatever devotees asks from their Master, He blesses them with that very thing.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਾਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਉਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸੁ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਜੋ ਬੋਲੈ ਈਹਾ ਊਹਾ ਸਚੁ ਹੋਵੈ ॥੨॥੧੪॥੪੫॥
naanak daas mukh tay jo bolai eehaa oohaa sach hovai. ||2||14||45||
O’ Nanak, whatever a true devotee of God utters from his mouth, becomes true here and hereafter. ||2||14||45||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ) ਸੇਵਕ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਅਟੱਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੧੪॥੪੫॥
