ਸਬਦਿ ਮਰਹੁ ਫਿਰਿ ਜੀਵਹੁ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਤਾ ਫਿਰਿ ਮਰਣੁ ਨ ਹੋਈ ॥
sabad marahu fir jeevhu sad hee taa fir maran na ho-ee.
If by following the Guru’s word you become free of vices, then you would live a spiritual life forever and you would never die a spiritual death.
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜ ਕੇ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਅਛੋਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੋ, ਫਿਰ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀਊਂਦੇ ਰਹੋਗੇ, ਫਿਰ ਕਦੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਢੁਕੇਗੀ।
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਦਾ ਮਨਿ ਮੀਠਾ ਸਬਦੇ ਪਾਵੈ ਕੋਈ ॥੩॥
amrit naam sadaa man meethaa sabday paavai ko-ee. ||3||
The ambrosial Naam is ever-sweet to the mind, however it is only a rare person who receives it through the Guru’s word. ||3||
ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਮਿੱਠਾ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਜਣਾ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
ਦਾਤੈ ਦਾਤਿ ਰਖੀ ਹਥਿ ਅਪਣੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਦੇਈ ॥
daatai daat rakhee hath apnai jis bhaavai tis day-ee.
The benefactor God has kept this gift of Naam under His own control; He gives to whoever He pleases.
ਦਾਤਾਰ ਨੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਦਾਤਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਤੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਦਰਗਹ ਜਾਪਹਿ ਸੇਈ ॥੪॥੧੧॥
naanak naam ratay sukh paa-i-aa dargeh jaapeh say-ee. ||4||11||
O’ Nanak, being imbued with Naam, they enjoy spiritual peace here and are honored in God’s presence. ||4||11||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਨਾਮ-ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਥੇ ਸੁਖ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਆਦਰ-ਮਾਣ ਪਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੪॥੧੧॥

Raag Sorath, Third Guru:
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੇਵੇ ਤਾ ਸਹਜ ਧੁਨਿ ਉਪਜੈ ਗਤਿ ਮਤਿ ਤਦ ਹੀ ਪਾਏ ॥
satgur sayvay taa sahj Dhun upjai gat mat tad hee paa-ay.
When one follows the Guru’s teachings, then divine melody wells up within and only then one is blessed with exalted intellect and supreme spiritual status.
ਜਦੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦੀ ਰੌ ਚੱਲ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਉੱਹ ਉੱਚੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਤੇ ਉੱਚੀ ਮਤਿ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਚਾ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਨਾਮੇ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਏ ॥੧॥
har kaa naam sachaa man vasi-aa naamay naam samaa-ay. ||1||
One realizes the eternal Name of God residing in the mind, and by meditating on Naam, one merges in Naam itself. ||1||
ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਲੀਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਬਉਰਾਨਾ ॥
bin satgur sabh jag ba-uraanaa.
Without following the Guru’s teachings, the entire world is wandering insane.
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ) ਝੱਲਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਅੰਧਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਨ ਜਾਣੈ ਝੂਠੈ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਨਾ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
manmukh anDhaa sabad na jaanai jhoothai bharam bhulaanaa. rahaa-o.
A spiritually ignorant self-willed person does not understand the Guru’s word and remains lost in false beliefs and doubts. ||Pause||
ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਾਲ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਂਦਾ। ਝੂਠੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਣ ਮਾਇਆ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਇਆ ਹਉਮੈ ਬੰਧਨ ਕਮਾਏ ॥
tarai gun maa-i-aa bharam bhulaa-i-aa ha-umai banDhan kamaa-ay.
The three modes (power, vice, and virtue) of Maya have misled a person into illusion; therefore in his ego, he keeps creating more worldly bonds for himself.
ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤ੍ਰਿਗੁਣੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਹਉਮੈ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੋਹ ਦੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਵਧਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੰਮ ਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜੰਮਣੁ ਮਰਣੁ ਸਿਰ ਊਪਰਿ ਊਭਉ ਗਰਭ ਜੋਨਿ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਏ ॥੨॥
jaman maran sir oopar oobha-o garabh jon dukh paa-ay. ||2||
The cycle of birth and death keeps hovering over his head, and he keeps going through the womb, suffering in pain. ||2||
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦਾ ਗੇੜ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਸਹਿੰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਣ ਵਰਤਹਿ ਸਗਲ ਸੰਸਾਰਾ ਹਉਮੈ ਵਿਚਿ ਪਤਿ ਖੋਈ ॥
tarai gun varteh sagal sansaaraa ha-umai vich pat kho-ee.
The three modes of Maya are prevailing in the entire world; acting in ego, one loses his honor.
ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਣ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਰਭਾਵ ਪਾਈ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ; ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹਉਮੈ ਵਿਚ ਫਸ ਕੇ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਗਵਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਚਉਥਾ ਪਦੁ ਚੀਨੈ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਈ ॥੩॥
gurmukh hovai cha-uthaa pad cheenai raam naam sukh ho-ee. ||3||
One who follows the Guru’s teachings, recognize the fourth state of celestial bliss and lives in peace by meditating on God’s Name. ||3||
ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਬੈਕੁੰਠੀ ਅਨੰਦ ਦੀ ਚੌਥੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਣ ਸਭਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੂ ਆਪੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਜੋ ਤੂ ਕਰਹਿ ਸੁ ਹੋਈ ॥
tarai gun sabh tayray too aapay kartaa jo too karahi so ho-ee.
O’ God, these three modes of Maya are Yours; You Yourself are the creator of all and whatever You do that happens.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਇਹ ਤਿੰਨੇ ਗੁਣ ਤੇਰੇ ਹਨ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ ਤੇ ਉਹੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰਾ ਸਬਦੇ ਹਉਮੈ ਖੋਈ ॥੪॥੧੨॥
naanak raam naam nistaaraa sabday ha-umai kho-ee. ||4||12||
O’ Nanak, one gets rid of ego through the Guru’s word, and then through God’s Name, one is freed from the three modes of Maya. ||4||12||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਿਆਂ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਹਉਮੈ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੧੨॥

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

One eternal God, realized by the grace of the True Guru:
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਅਪਾਹੁ ॥
aapay aap varatdaa pi-aaraa aapay aap apaahu.
God Himself pervades everywhere and He Himself remains detached.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਭੀ ਹੈ।
ਵਣਜਾਰਾ ਜਗੁ ਆਪਿ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਾਹੁ ॥
vanjaaraa jag aap hai pi-aaraa aapay saachaa saahu.
God Himself is the divine merchant in the world and He Himself is the eternal banker.
ਜਗਤ-ਵਣਜਾਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸ਼ਾਹੂਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਵਣਜੁ ਵਾਪਾਰੀਆ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਸਚੁ ਵੇਸਾਹੁ ॥੧॥
aapay vanaj vapaaree-aa pi-aaraa aapay sach vaysaahu. ||1||
He Himself is the commodity, the divine merchant, and Himself the eternal wealth. ||1||
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵਣਜ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵਪਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਰਮਾਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਲਾਹ ॥
jap man har har naam salaah.
O’ my mind, always lovingly remember God and keep singing His praises.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਕਰ, ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰ।
ਗੁਰ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ ਪਾਈਐ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਅਗਮ ਅਥਾਹ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
gur kirpaa tay paa-ee-ai pi-aaraa amrit agam athaah. rahaa-o.
It is only through the Guru’s grace that one can realize that beloved-God, who is immortal, unapproachable and unfathomable. ||Pause||
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਅਮਰ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਜੋ ਬਹੁਤ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਹੈ ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਆਪੇ ਸੁਣਿ ਸਭ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਮੁਖਿ ਬੋਲੇ ਆਪਿ ਮੁਹਾਹੁ ॥
aapay sun sabh vaykh-daa pi-aaraa mukh bolay aap muhaahu.
God Himself listens to the prayers of the humans and takes care of all; He Himself speaks through the mouths of everyone.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਰਦਾਸਾਂ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ; ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਉਝੜਿ ਪਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪਿ ਵਿਖਾਲੇ ਰਾਹੁ ॥
aapay ujharh paa-idaa pi-aaraa aap vikhaalay raahu.
The beloved-God Himself leads the beings into the wilderness, and Himself shows the righteous way of living.
ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਸਹੀ) ਰਸਤਾ ਵਿਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਸਭੁ ਆਪਿ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹੁ ॥੨॥
aapay hee sabh aap hai pi-aaraa aapay vayparvaahu. ||2||
Dear God Himself is present everywhere and He Himself is carefree. ||2||
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਬੇ-ਪਰਵਾਹ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਉਪਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਸਿਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਧੰਧੜੈ ਲਾਹੁ ॥
aapay aap upaa-idaa pi-aaraa sir aapay DhanDh-rhai laahu.
God Himself creates all beings, and He Himself engages them to different tasks.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਮ ਲਾਉਦਾਂ ਹੈ।
ਆਪਿ ਕਰਾਏ ਸਾਖਤੀ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪਿ ਮਾਰੇ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਹੁ ॥
aap karaa-ay saakh-tee pi-aaraa aap maaray mar jaahu.
The beloved-God Himself creates the creation and when He Himself withdraws the life breath, the creature dies .
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ) ਬਣਤਰ ਬਣਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੀਵ) ਮਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਪਤਣੁ ਪਾਤਣੀ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਪਾਰਿ ਲੰਘਾਹੁ ॥੩॥
aapay patan paat-nee pi-aaraa aapay paar langhaahu. ||3||
God Himself is the wharf, Himself the boatman and He Himself ferries people across the worldly ocean of vices . ||3||
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਨਦੀ ਉਤੇ) ਪੱਤਣ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਮਲਾਹ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
ਆਪੇ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਬੋਹਿਥਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਖੇਵਟੁ ਆਪਿ ਚਲਾਹੁ ॥
aapay saagar bohithaa pi-aaraa gur khayvat aap chalaahu.
The beloved-God Himself is the worldly ocean and the ship; becoming a captain in the form of the Guru, He steers this ship.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸੰਸਾਰ- ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਗੁਰੂ-ਮਲਾਹ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਚੜਿ ਲੰਘਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਕਰਿ ਚੋਜ ਵੇਖੈ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੁ ॥
aapay hee charh langh-daa pi-aaraa kar choj vaykhai paatisaahu.
Dear God Himself rides the ship, crosses over the worldly ocean, and Himself performs and watches His wondrous play.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਵਿਚ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੌਤਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਖਸਿ ਮਿਲਾਹੁ ॥੪॥੧॥
aapay aap da-i-aal hai pi-aaraa jan naanak bakhas milaahu. ||4||1||
O’ Nanak, dear God Himself is merciful; forgiving people He unites them with Himself. ||4||1||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਦਇਆ ਦਾ ਸੋਮਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੧॥

ਆਪੇ ਅੰਡਜ ਜੇਰਜ ਸੇਤਜ ਉਤਭੁਜ ਆਪੇ ਖੰਡ ਆਪੇ ਸਭ ਲੋਇ ॥
aapay andaj jayraj saytaj ut-bhuj aapay khand aapay sabh lo-ay.
God Himself is the four forms of creation ( egg, womb, sweat and earth); He Himself is the continents of all the worlds.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਚਾਰੇ ਖਾਣੀਆਂ) ਅੰਡਜ ਜੇਰਜ ਸੇਤਜ ਉਤਭੁਜ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਨੌ) ਖੰਡ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਭਵਨ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਸੂਤੁ ਆਪੇ ਬਹੁ ਮਣੀਆ ਕਰਿ ਸਕਤੀ ਜਗਤੁ ਪਰੋਇ ॥
aapay soot aapay baho manee-aa kar saktee jagat paro-ay.
God Himself is the thread, and He Himself is many beads in the form living beings; through His almighty Power, He strings the world.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਧਾਗਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਮਣਕੇ (ਜੀਵ )ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਗੇ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰੋਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
