ਚਰਨ ਸੇਵ ਸੰਤ ਸਾਧ ਕੇ ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪੂਰੇ ॥੩॥

Following Guru’s teachings with humility, one’s all desires are fulfilled.
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ (ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਦਰ ਮੰਨਿਆਂ) ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ
ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਏਕੁ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਪੂਰੇ ॥੪॥
ghat ghat ayk varatdaa jal thal mahee-al pooray. ||4||
God is pervading in each and every heart. He is totally permeating the water, the land, and the sky.
ਹਰੇਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਲ ਵਿਚ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ l ਪਾਪ ਬਿਨਾਸਨੁ ਸੇਵਿਆ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ
ਸੰਤਨ ਕੀ ਧੂਰੇ ॥੫॥
paap binaasan sayvi-aa pavitar santan kee Dhooray. ||5||
Those who lovingly meditated on God’s Name, the destroyer of sins by humbly following the teachings of the Guru, become immaculate.
ਜੇਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਰਨ ਧੂੜ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸੁੱਚੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ
ਸਭ ਛਡਾਈ ਖਸਮਿ ਆਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਭਈ ਠਰੂਰੇ ॥੬॥
sabh chhadaa-ee khasam aap har jap bha-ee tharooray. ||6||
The entire world is pacified by meditating on God. The Master Himself has liberated the entire world from the agony of vices.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਲੁਕਾਈ ਸੀਤਲ-ਮਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਸਾਰੀ ਲੁਕਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਖਸਮ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਪਸ਼ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ l
ਕਰਤੈ ਕੀਆ ਤਪਾਵਸੋ ਦੁਸਟ ਮੁਏ ਹੋਇ ਮੂਰੇ ॥੭॥
kartai kee-aa tapaavaso dusat mu-ay ho-ay mooray. ||7||
The Creator has done this justice that the evil-doers have died a spiritual death. They have become lifeless like stuffed animals.
ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ (ਚੰਗਾ) ਨਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਿਕਾਰੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਜੀਊਂਦੇ ਦਿੱਸ ਕੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤੇ ਮਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ l
ਨਾਨਕ ਰਤਾ ਸਚਿ ਨਾਇ ਹਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਸਦਾ ਹਜੂਰੇ ॥੮॥੫॥੩੯॥੧॥੩੨॥੧॥੫॥੩੯॥
naanak rataa sach naa-ay har vaykhai saada hajoray. ||8||5||39||1||32||1||5||39||
O’ Nanak, the one who remains attuned to the eternal Name of God, he always beholds His presence with him.
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ l

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

One Eternal God. realized by the grace of the True Guru:
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਿਰਤਿ ਕਰਮ ਕੇ ਵੀਛੁੜੇ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਮੇਲਹੁ ਰਾਮ ॥
kirat karam kay veechhurhay kar kirpaa maylhu raam.
O’ God, as a result of our deeds, we are separated from You. Please show Your mercy, and unite us with You.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ (ਤੈਥੋਂ) ਵਿੱਛੁੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਾ, ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾਵੋ।
ਚਾਰਿ ਕੁੰਟ ਦਹ ਦਿਸ ਭ੍ਰਮੇ ਥਕਿ ਆਏ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਸਾਮ ॥
chaar kunt dah dis bharamay thak aa-ay parabh kee saam.
O’ God, we have wandered in all the four corners and ten directions. Now completely exhausted, we have come to Your refuge.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਚੁਫੇਰੇ ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ (ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ) ਭਟਕਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ, ਹੁਣ,! ਥੱਕ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਨ ਆਏ ਹਾਂ।
ਧੇਨੁ ਦੁਧੈ ਤੇ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਕਿਤੈ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਕਾਮ ॥
Dhayn duDhai tay baahree kitai na aavai kaam.
Just as a cow, that yields no milk is of no use,
(ਜਿਵੇਂ) ਦੁੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਸੱਖਣੀ ਗਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ,
ਜਲ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਾਖ ਕੁਮਲਾਵਤੀ ਉਪਜਹਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਦਾਮ ॥
jal bin saakh kumlaavatee upjahi naahee daam.
and just as crop withers away without water and yields no income.
(ਜਿਵੇਂ) ਪਾਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਖੇਤੀ ਸੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ (ਫ਼ਸਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੱਕਦੀ, ਤੇ ਉਸ ਖੇਤੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਧਨ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ,
ਹਰਿ ਨਾਹ ਨ ਮਿਲੀਐ ਸਾਜਨੈ ਕਤ ਪਾਈਐ ਬਿਸਰਾਮ ॥
har naah na milee-ai saajnai kat paa-ee-ai bisraam.
similarly, without union with God (our beloved spouse),how can we find any peace or comfort?
ਤਿਵੇਂ ਸੱਜਣ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੁਖ-ਆਰਾਮ ਪਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ?
ਜਿਤੁ ਘਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੰਤੁ ਨ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਈ ਭਠਿ ਨਗਰ ਸੇ ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ॥
jit ghar har kant na pargata-ee bhath nagar say garaam.
The body and mind of a human (soul-bride) in whose heart God has not been revealed is like a burning furnace.
ਜਿਸ ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਪਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾ ਆ ਵੱਸੇ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਾ ਦੇ (ਵੱਸਦੇ) ਪਿੰਡ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਰ ਤੱਪਦੀ ਭੱਠੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਸ੍ਰਬ ਸੀਗਾਰ ਤੰਬੋਲ ਰਸ ਸਣੁ ਦੇਹੀ ਸਭ ਖਾਮ ॥
sarab seegaar tambol ras san dayhee sabh khaam.
All embellishments, and fragrances along with her body seem worthless to her.
(ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ) ਸਰੀਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਿੰਗਾਰ ਪਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੀੜੇ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਰਸ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਸਰੀਰ ਸਮੇਤ ਹੀ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਦਿੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ,
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕੰਤ ਵਿਹੂਣੀਆ ਮੀਤ ਸਜਣ ਸਭਿ ਜਾਮ ॥
parabh su-aamee kant vihoonee-aa meet sajan sabh jaam.
Without the presence of her Husband-God, even her friends and relatives appear as demons of death.
ਮਾਲਕ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੱਜਣ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਜਿੰਦ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਹੋ ਢੁਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਬੇਨੰਤੀਆ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੀਜੈ ਨਾਮੁ ॥
naanak kee banantee-aa kar kirpaa deejai naam.
O’ God, therefore Nanak prays: Please show us mercy by blessing us with Naam.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤਾਹੀਏਂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼।
ਹਰਿ ਮੇਲਹੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸੰਗਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜਿਸ ਕਾ ਨਿਹਚਲ ਧਾਮ ॥੧॥
har maylhu su-aamee sang parabh jis kaa nihchal Dhaam. ||1||
and unite me with that Husband-God, whose abode is eternal.
ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਜੋੜੀ ਰੱਖ, (ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਨਾਸਵੰਤ ਹਨ) ਇਕ ਤੇਰਾ ਘਰ ਸਦਾ ਅਟੱਲ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ
ਚੇਤਿ ਗੋਵਿੰਦੁ ਅਰਾਧੀਐ ਹੋਵੈ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਘਣਾ ॥
chayt govind araaDhee-ai hovai anand ghanaa.
By remembering God with loving devotion in the month of chait (March-April) deep bliss arises in the mind.
ਚੇਤ੍ਰ ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਮਿਲਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਰਸਨਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਭਣਾ ॥
sant janaa mil paa-ee-ai rasnaa naam bhanaa.
But this Supreme bliss is achieved by reciting God’s praises in the holy congregation.
ਪਰ ਜੀਭ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਜਿਨਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਏ ਤਿਸਹਿ ਗਣਾ ॥
jin paa-i-aa parabh aapnaa aa-ay tiseh ganaa.
Only coming of that persons in this world is counted as fruitful who has attained union with his God
ਉਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਜਾਣੋ (ਉਸੇ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਸਫਲਾ ਸਮਝੋ) ਜਿਸ ਨੇ (ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾਲ) ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
ਇਕੁ ਖਿਨੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਜੀਵਣਾ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਜਨਮੁ ਜਣਾ ॥
ik khin tis bin jeevnaa birthaa janam janaa.
Because, to live without Him, even for an instant, is a waste of human birth.
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਇਕ ਖਿਨ ਮਾਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾ ਗੁਜ਼ਾਰਿਆਂ ਭੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਬੀਤਦੀ ਜਾਣੋ।
ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਪੂਰਿਆ ਰਵਿਆ ਵਿਚਿ ਵਣਾ ॥
jal thal mahee-al poori-aa ravi-aa vich vanaa.
That God who is pervading in the water, the land, all spaces and the forests,
ਜੇਹੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਵਿਅਪਕ ਹੈ,
ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਚਿਤਿ ਨ ਆਵਈ ਕਿਤੜਾ ਦੁਖੁ ਗਣਾ ॥
so parabh chit na aavee kit-rhaa dukh ganaa.
if that all pervading God does not dwell in the mind of a person, then the spiritual sorrow of that person can not be described.
ਜੇ ਐਸਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਨਾਹ ਵੱਸੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਮਾਨਸਕ ਦੁੱਖ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਜਿਨੀ ਰਾਵਿਆ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤਿੰਨਾ ਭਾਗੁ ਮਣਾ ॥
jinee raavi-aa so parabhoo tinnaa bhaag manaa.
But very fortunate are those who have enjoyed the pleasure of union with God. (ਪਰ)
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ (ਸਰਬ ਵਿਆਪਕ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਬੜਾ ਭਾਗ ਜਾਗ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨ ਕੰਉ ਮਨੁ ਲੋਚਦਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਿਆਸ ਮਨਾ ॥
har darsan kaN-u man lochdaa naanak pi-aas manaa.
O’ Nanak, my mind is yearning to be blessed with His Vision.
ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਭੀ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਂਘਦਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੀ-ਦਰਸਨ ਦੀ ਪਿਆਸ ਹੈ।
ਚੇਤਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤਿਸ ਕੈ ਪਾਇ ਲਗਾ ॥੨॥
chayt milaa-ay so parabhoo tis kai paa-ay lagaa. ||2||
I would fall at the feet (humbly serve) of the one who in the month of chait unites me with God.
ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਚੇਤ੍ਰ ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਕਰਾ ਦੇਵੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਲੱਗਾਂਗਾ l
ਵੈਸਾਖਿ ਧੀਰਨਿ ਕਿਉ ਵਾਢੀਆ ਜਿਨਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਬਿਛੋਹੁ ॥
vaisaakh Dheeran ki-o vaadhee-aa jinaa paraym bichhohu.
How can those soul-brides find solace and be happy in Vaishakh (April-May), who are in agony of separation from their husband-God ?
ਵੈਸਾਖ ਵਿਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਦਿਲ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਖਲੋਵੇ ਜੋ ਪਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਵਿੱਛੁੜੀਆਂ ਪਈਆਂ ਹਨ? ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਿਆਰ ਦੀ ਅਣਹੋਂਦ ਹੈ,
ਹਰਿ ਸਾਜਨੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਲਗੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਧੋਹੁ ॥
har saajan purakh visaar kai lagee maa-i-aa Dhohu.
Forgetting their beloved friend God, they are attached to Maya.
ਉਹ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਸੁਆਮੀ, ਮਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਮਨ-ਮੋਹਣੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਨਾਲ ਚਿਮੜੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਕਲਤ੍ਰ ਨ ਸੰਗਿ ਧਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਅਵਿਨਾਸੀ ਓਹੁ ॥
putar kaltar na sang Dhanaa har avinaasee oh.
They do not realize that except the Eternal God, no son, wife, or worldly wealth shall keep them company at the end.
ਨਾਹ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ, ਨਾਹ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ, ਨਾਹ ਧਨ, ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਨਿਭਦਾ ਇਕ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਅਸਲ ਸਾਥੀ ਹੈ।
ਪਲਚਿ ਪਲਚਿ ਸਗਲੀ ਮੁਈ ਝੂਠੈ ਧੰਧੈ ਮੋਹੁ ॥
palach palach saglee mu-ee jhoothai DhanDhai moh.
Being entangled in false worldly pursuits, the entire humanity is spiritually dying.
ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਫਸ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਲੁਕਾਈ ਹੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤੇ ਮਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਇਕਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਗੈ ਲਈਅਹਿ ਖੋਹਿ ॥
ikas har kay naam bin agai la-ee-ah khohi.
When one goes to the next world (God’s court ), except Naam, every other possession is taken away.
ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਭੀ ਕਰਮ ਇਥੇ ਕਰੀਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਖੋਹ ਲਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ
ਦਯੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿ ਵਿਗੁਚਣਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥
da-yu visaar viguchnaa parabh bin avar na ko-ay.
Forgetting the Merciful God, they are ruined. Without God, there is no other at all, who can help.
ਪਿਆਰ-ਸਰੂਪ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਾਰ ਕੇ ਖ਼ੁਆਰੀ ਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਜਿੰਦ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਸਾਥੀ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਚਰਣੀ ਜੋ ਲਗੇ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸੋਇ ॥
pareetam charnee jo lagay tin kee nirmal so-ay.

ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਦੀ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਜੇਹੜੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਲਗਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ (ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ) ਭਲੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
