ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਹੇ ਪੁਰਖ! ਹੇ ਸਰਬ-ਗੁਣ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਦੇਵ! ਮੈਂ (ਤੇਰਾ) ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਨ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ ॥੨॥੫॥੮॥

ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਜਾਣੁ ॥
parabh mayraa antarjaamee jaan.
My omniscient God is the knower of what is in everyone’s heart.
ਮੇਰਾ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਸਚੁ ਸਬਦੁ ਨੀਸਾਣੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
kar kirpaa pooran parmaysar nihchal sach sabad neesaan. ||1|| rahaa-o.
O’ perfectly supreme God, bestow mercy and bless me with the eternal word of Your praises which is the insignia to realize You.||1||Pause||
ਹੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਜਿਹੜਾਤੇਰੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਲਈ ਪਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਹਰਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਆਨ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਆਸ ਤੇਰਾ ਮਨਿ ਤਾਣੁ ॥
har bin aan na ko-ee samrath tayree aas tayraa man taan.
O’ God, except You there is nobody else who is all powerful, therefore I have my hope only in You and my mind depends only on Your support.
ਤੈਥੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ, ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ (ਇਤਨੀ) ਸਮਰਥਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। (ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ) ਤੇਰੀ (ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੀ ਹੀ) ਆਸ (ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ l
ਸਰਬ ਘਟਾ ਕੇ ਦਾਤੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇਹਿ ਸੁ ਪਹਿਰਣੁ ਖਾਣੁ ॥੧॥
sarab ghataa kay daatay su-aamee deh so pahiran khaan. ||1||
O’ the beneficent Master-God of all, we eat and wear only that which You bestow on us. ||1||
ਹੇ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਖਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਪਹਿਨਣ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਉਹੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ॥੧॥
ਸੁਰਤਿ ਮਤਿ ਚਤੁਰਾਈ ਸੋਭਾ ਰੂਪੁ ਰੰਗੁ ਧਨੁ ਮਾਣੁ ॥
surat mat chaturaa-ee sobhaa roop rang Dhan maan.
Sublime understanding, sublime intellect, wisdom for righteous living, glory, inner beauty, love, worldly wealth and honor,
ਉੱਚੀ) ਸੁਰਤ (ਉੱਚੀ) ਮੱਤ, (ਸੁਚੱਜੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਲੀ) ਸਿਆਣਪ (ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਦੀ) ਵਡਿਆਈ, (ਸੋਹਣਾ ਆਤਮਕ) ਰੂਪ ਰੰਗ, ਧਨ, ਇੱਜ਼ਤ
ਸਰਬ ਸੂਖ ਆਨੰਦ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਪਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਕਲਿਆਣੁ ॥੨॥੬॥੯॥
sarab sookh aanand naanak jap raam naam kali-aan. ||2||6||9||
all kinds of comforts, bliss and freedom from vices: O’ Nanak, are attained by remembering God’s Name with passion and love. ||2||6||9||
ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ, ਆਨੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕਤੀ; ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੨॥੬॥੯॥

ਹਰਿ ਚਰਨ ਸਰਨ ਕਲਿਆਨ ਕਰਨ ॥
har charan saran kali-aan karan.
The refuge of God’s Name brings inner peace and spiritual bliss.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ (ਸਾਰੇ) ਸੁਖ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ।
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨੋ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
parabh naam patit paavno. ||1|| rahaa-o.
God’s Name is the purifier of the sinners.||1||Pause||
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਣਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਜਪਿ ਨਿਸੰਗ ਜਮਕਾਲੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਨ ਖਾਵਨੋ ॥੧॥
saaDhsang jap nisang jamkaal tis na khaavno. ||1||
The fear of death cannot scare a person who unhesitatingly and lovingly remembers God’s Name in the holy congregation. ||1||
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਸਰਧਾ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਭੈ-ਭੀਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੧॥
ਮੁਕਤਿ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਅਨਿਕ ਸੂਖ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਲਵੈ ਨ ਲਾਵਨੋ ॥
mukat jugat anik sookh har bhagat lavai na laavno.
Neither all the ways to attain salvation, nor myriads of comforts can be equal to the devotional worship of God.
ਮੁਕਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜੁਗਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਸੁਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੀ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ।
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦਰਸ ਲੁਬਧ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਜੋਨਿ ਨ ਧਾਵਨੋ ॥੨॥੭॥੧੦॥
parabh daras lubaDh daas naanak bahurh jon na Dhaavno. ||2||7||10||
O’ devotee Nanak, one who is desirous of God’s blessed vision, does not wander through the cycle of reincarnation. ||2||||7||10||
ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਦਾ ਮਤਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮੁੜ ਜੂਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੇੜ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਭਟਕਦਾ ॥੨॥੭॥੧੦॥

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ik-oNkaar satgur parsaad.
One eternal God, realized by the grace of the true Guru:
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਰਾਮਾ ਰਮ ਰਾਮੋ ਸੁਨਿ ਮਨੁ ਭੀਜੈ ॥
raamaa ram raamo sun man bheejai.
One’s mind is completely immersed with God’s love by listening to the Name of the all-pervading God.
ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਦਾ ਨਾਮ) ਸੁਣ ਕੇ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ) ਮਨ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਜਲ ਨਾਲ) ਭਿੱਜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਰਸੁ ਮੀਠਾ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਹਜੇ ਪੀਜੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
har har naam amrit ras meethaa gurmat sehjay peejai. ||1|| rahaa-o.
The spiritually rejuvenating Name of God is like a sweet elixir, and we should drink it through the Guru’s teachings in a state of spiritual poise. ||1||Pause||
ਇਹ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਆਦਲਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ-ਜਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮੱਤ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ (ਟਿਕ ਕੇ) ਪੀ ਸਕੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਕਾਸਟ ਮਹਿ ਜਿਉ ਹੈ ਬੈਸੰਤਰੁ ਮਥਿ ਸੰਜਮਿ ਕਾਢਿ ਕਢੀਜੈ ॥
kaasat meh ji-o hai baisantar math sanjam kaadh kadheejai.
Just as fire is hidden in wood, and can be brought out by rubbing the sticks of dry wood in a certain way,
ਜਿਵੇਂ (ਹਰੇਕ) ਲੱਕੜੀ ਵਿਚ ਅੱਗ (ਲੁਕੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ) ਹੈ, (ਪਰ) ਜੁਗਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਦਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪਰਗਟ ਕਰ ਸਕੀਦੀ ਹੈ,
ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਬਾਈ ਤਤੁ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਕਾਢਿ ਲਈਜੈ ॥੧॥
raam naam hai jot sabaa-ee tat gurmat kaadh la-eejai. ||1||
similarly the light of God’s Name is hidden in the entire universe and this reality can be understood through the Guru’s teachings. ||1||
ਤਿਵੇਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ (ਐਸਾ) ਹੈ (ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦੀ) ਜੋਤਿ ਸਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਵਿਚ (ਗੁਪਤ) ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਅਸਲੀਅਤ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮੱਤ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਮਝ ਸਕੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਨਉ ਦਰਵਾਜ ਨਵੇ ਦਰ ਫੀਕੇ ਰਸੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਦਸਵੇ ਚੁਈਜੈ ॥
na-o darvaaj navay dar feekay ras amrit dasvay chu-eejai.
The tastes enjoyed through nine openings of human body are insipid compared to the ambrosial nectar of Naam which flows out of the tenth door, the mind.
ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੇ) ਨੌ ਹੀ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ (ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ ਵਲੋਂ) ਰੁੱਖੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ ਦਸਵੇਂ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ (ਦਿਮਾਗ਼) ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੀ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਰਗਟ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ।
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਪੀਜੈ ॥੨॥
kirpaa kirpaa kirpaa kar pi-aaray gur sabdee har ras peejai. ||2||
O’ my beloved God, bestow mercy, so that we can drink this elixir of Naam through the Guru’s word. ||2||
ਹੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ ਪੀਵੀਏ ॥੨॥
ਕਾਇਆ ਨਗਰੁ ਨਗਰੁ ਹੈ ਨੀਕੋ ਵਿਚਿ ਸਉਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਕੀਜੈ ॥
kaa-i-aa nagar nagar hai neeko vich sa-udaa har ras keejai.
Our body is like a very beautiful township, and we should keep trading the merchandise of God’s sublime Name in this township.
ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਸਰੀਰ (ਮਾਨੋ, ਇਕ) ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੈ, ਇਸ (ਸਰੀਰ-ਸ਼ਹਿਰ) ਵਿਚ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ (ਵਿਹਾਝਣ ਦਾ) ਵਣਜ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਰਤਨ ਲਾਲ ਅਮੋਲ ਅਮੋਲਕ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਲੀਜੈ ॥੩॥
ratan laal amol amolak satgur sayvaa leejai. ||3||
This elixir of God’s Name is priceless like the precious jewels and can be attained only by following the Guru’s teachings. ||3||
(ਇਹ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ, ਮਾਨੋ) ਅਮੁੱਲੇ ਰਤਨ ਲਾਲ ਹਨ, (ਇਹ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਅਗਮੁ ਅਗਮੁ ਹੈ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਭਰਿ ਸਾਗਰ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰੀਜੈ ॥
satgur agam agam hai thaakur bhar saagar bhagat kareejai.
The true Guru is the embodiment of an inaccessible God who is like an ocean brimming with the nectar of Naam, we should perform His devotional worship.
ਗੁਰੂ ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਨਾਮ-ਜਲ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹਇਆ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਇਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਦੀਨ ਹਮ ਸਾਰਿੰਗ ਇਕ ਬੂੰਦ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੁਖਿ ਦੀਜੈ ॥੪॥
kirpaa kirpaa kar deen ham saaring ik boond naam mukh deejai. ||4||
O’ God, we are like humble rain-birds, bestow mercy and put nectar of Naam in our mouths. ||4||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਅਸੀਂ ਜੀਵ (ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਦੇ) ਨਿਮਾਣੇ ਪਪੀਹੇ ਹਾਂ, ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ, ਸਾਡੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿਚ ਨਾਮ-ਜਲ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਬੂੰਦ ਪਾ ਦਿਓ ॥੪॥
ਲਾਲਨੁ ਲਾਲੁ ਲਾਲੁ ਹੈ ਰੰਗਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਰੰਗਨ ਕਉ ਗੁਰ ਦੀਜੈ ॥
laalan laal laal hai rangan man rangan ka-o gur deejai.
O’ my beloved Guru, extremely beauteous and endearing is God’s Name, to imbue my mind with God’s love, please bless me with God’s Name.
ਸੋਹਣਾ ਹਰਿ (-ਨਾਮ) ਦਾ ਬੜਾ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਰੰਗ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ! (ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ) ਮਨ ਰੰਗਣ ਲਈ (ਇਹ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਰੰਗ) ਦੇਹ।
ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ਰਸ ਰਸਿਕ ਗਟਕ ਨਿਤ ਪੀਜੈ ॥੫॥
raam raam raam rang raatay ras rasik gatak nit peejai. ||5||
Those who remain imbued with the love of God, become reveler of God’s Name and always drink the elixir of God’s Name in big gulps. ||5||
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ- ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ ਦੇ ਰਸੀਏ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਗਟ ਗਟ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ ਪੀਂਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੫॥
ਬਸੁਧਾ ਸਪਤ ਦੀਪ ਹੈ ਸਾਗਰ ਕਢਿ ਕੰਚਨੁ ਕਾਢਿ ਧਰੀਜੈ ॥
basuDhaa sapat deep hai saagar kadh kanchan kaadh Dhareejai.
If the entire gold from the earth of all the seven continents and all oceans is taken out and placed outside,
ਜਿਤਨੀ ਭੀ ਸੱਤ ਟਾਪੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਤ ਸਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਹੈ ਜੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸਾਰਾ ਸੋਨਾ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਏ,
ਮੇਰੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਕੇ ਜਨ ਇਨਹੁ ਨ ਬਾਛਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਾਗਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਦੀਜੈ ॥੬॥
mayray thaakur kay jan inahu na baachheh har maageh har ras deejai. ||6||
still the humble devotees of my Master-God won’t want it because they only pray to God to bless them with the sublime essence His Name. ||6||
ਤਾਂ ਭੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਭਗਤ- ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ) ਮੰਗਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ॥੬॥
ਸਾਕਤ ਨਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ ਸਦ ਭੂਖੇ ਨਿਤ ਭੂਖਨ ਭੂਖ ਕਰੀਜੈ ॥
saakat nar paraanee sad bhookhay nit bhookhan bhookh kareejai.
The faithless cynics are always hungry for Maya, yes they are always hungry for material things and keep crying for them continually.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੋਂ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਭੁਖੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਦਾ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਭੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਧਾਵਤੁ ਧਾਇ ਧਾਵਹਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਮਾਇਆ ਲਖ ਕੋਸਨ ਕਉ ਬਿਥਿ ਦੀਜੈ ॥੭॥
Dhaavat Dhaa-ay Dhaaveh pareet maa-i-aa lakh kosan ka-o bith deejai. ||7||
They keep wandering after wealth and lured by the infatuation for worldly riches, and forget God as if they are thousands of miles away from God. ||7||
ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਖਿੱਚ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਭਟਕਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ। (ਮਾਇਆ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ) ਲੱਖਾਂ ਕੋਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿੱਥ ਬਣਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੭॥
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਊਤਮ ਕਿਆ ਉਪਮਾ ਤਿਨ੍ ਦੀਜੈ ॥
har har har har har jan ootam ki-aa upmaa tinH deejai.
Most sublime are the devotees of God, (I do not know) what kind of glory be bestowed on them?
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਭਗਤ ਉੱਚੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹੜੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਦਿਤੀ ਜਾਏ?
