ਕਾਨੜਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Raag Kaanraa, Fifth Guru:
ਸਾਧ ਸਰਨਿ ਚਰਨ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਇਆ ॥
saaDh saran charan chit laa-i-aa.
Since I have focused my mind on God’s Name by following the Guru’s teachings,
(ਜਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਚਿੱਤ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਹੈ,
ਸੁਪਨ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ ਸੁਨੀ ਪੇਖੀ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਨਾਮ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
supan kee baat sunee paykhee supnaa naam mantar satguroo drirh-aa-i-aa. ||1|| rahaa-o.
when the Guru instilled the mantra of Naam in my heart, I have realized that this world is like a dream, which I had only heard before. ||1||Pause||
ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਮੰਤ੍ਰ (ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ) ਪੱਕਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਟਿਕਾਇਆ ਹੈ (ਤਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਸ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ) ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਉਹ (ਅਖੀਂ) ਵੇਖ ਲਿਆ ਕਿ ਵਾਕਈ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਇਕ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਹੀ ਹੈ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਨਹ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਨੋ ਰਾਜ ਜੋਬਨਿ ਧਨਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਧਾਇਆ ॥
nah tariptaano raaj joban Dhan bahur bahur fir Dhaa-i-aa.
This mind is not satiated with power, youth and wealth, and it keeps chasing after them all the time,
(ਇਹ ਮਨ) ਰਾਜ ਜੋਬਨ ਧਨ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਜਦਾ, ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ (ਇਹਨਾਂ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ) ਭਟਕਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਸਭ ਬੁਝੀ ਹੈ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਪਾਈ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਇਆ ॥੧॥
sukh paa-i-aa tarisnaa sabh bujhee hai saaNt paa-ee gun gaa-i-aa. ||1||
but when one sings God’s praises, he finds inner peace, all his worldly desires are quenched and he becomes serene.||1||
ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਬੁੱਝ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਬਿਨੁ ਬੂਝੇ ਪਸੂ ਕੀ ਨਿਆਈ ਭ੍ਰਮਿ ਮੋਹਿ ਬਿਆਪਿਓ ਮਾਇਆ ॥
bin boojhay pasoo kee ni-aa-ee bharam mohi bi-aapi-o maa-i-aa.
Without understanding about the spiritual life, one remains foolish like an animal and remains afflicted by the illusion and the love for Maya.
ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ) ਸੂਝ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਫਸਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਜਮ ਜੇਵਰੀ ਕਾਟੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ ॥੨॥੧੦॥
saaDhsang jam jayvree kaatee naanak sahj samaa-i-aa. ||2||10||
O’ Nanak, one’s noose of the demon of death is cut off by remaining in the saintly congregation, and one merges in a state of spiritual poise. ||2||10||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਿਆਂ ਜਮਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਫਾਹੀ ਕੱਟੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੧੦॥

Raag Kaanraa, Fifth Guru:
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਗਾਇ ॥
har kay charan hirdai gaa-ay.
O’ my friend, enshrine God’s Name in your heart and lovingly sing His Praises.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ (ਟਿਕਾ ਕੇ; ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ) ਗਾਇਆ ਕਰ।
ਸੀਤਲਾ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਨਿਤ ਧਿਆਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
seetlaa sukh saaNt moorat simar simar nit Dhi-aa-ay. ||1|| rahaa-o.
Always keep your mind focused on remembrance of God, the embodiment of soothing comfort, inner peace and tranquility. ||1||Pause||
ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਿਆ ਕਰ, ਸਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰ ਜੋ ਠੰਢ-ਸਰੂਪ, ਸੁਖ-ਸਰੂਪ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ-ਸਰੂਪ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਸਗਲ ਆਸ ਹੋਤ ਪੂਰਨ ਕੋਟਿ ਜਨਮ ਦੁਖੁ ਜਾਇ ॥੧॥
sagal aas hot pooran kot janam dukh jaa-ay. ||1||
All hopes of a person are fulfilled and the suffering of millions of births vanishes by lovingly remembering God. ||1||
(ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ) ਸਾਰੀ ਆਸ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਜਨਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਪੁੰਨ ਦਾਨ ਅਨੇਕ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਮਾਇ ॥
punn daan anayk kiri-aa saaDhoo sang samaa-ay.
To remain in the company of the Guru and following his teachings, is like doing innumerable deeds of compassion and charity.
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਹਨਾ-ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਪੁੰਨ ਦਾਨ ਆਦਿਕ ਕਰਮ।
ਤਾਪ ਸੰਤਾਪ ਮਿਟੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਾਹੁੜਿ ਕਾਲੁ ਨ ਖਾਇ ॥੨॥੧੧॥
taap santaap mitay naanak baahurh kaal na khaa-ay. ||2||11||
O’ Nanak, by remaining in holy congregation, all one’s sorrows and suffering are erased and the fear of death doesn’t torture him ever again. ||2||11||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਂਦਾ ॥੨॥੧੧॥

Raag Kaanraa, Fifth Guru, Third Beat:
ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ik-oNkaar satgur parsaad.
One eternal God, realized by the grace of the True Guru:
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਥੀਐ ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਗਿਆਨੁ ॥
kathee-ai satsang parabh gi-aan.
We should talk about God’s virtues while in the company of the saints,
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ (ਟਿਕ ਕੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਤੋਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ,
ਪੂਰਨ ਪਰਮ ਜੋਤਿ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਪਾਈਐ ਮਾਨੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
pooran param jot parmaysur simrat paa-ee-ai maan. ||1|| rahaa-o.
because we are blessed with honor both here and hereafter by remembering the all pervading God, the supreme divine light. ||1||Pause||
ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੇ ਨੂਰ ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਦਾ (ਨਾਮ) ਸਿਮਰਦਿਆਂ (ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ) ਇਜ਼ਤ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰੀਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਆਵਤ ਜਾਤ ਰਹੇ ਸ੍ਰਮ ਨਾਸੇ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਿ ॥
aavat jaat rahay saram naasay simrat saaDhoo sang.
One’s cycle of birth and death ends and his suffering from wandering in incarnations ends by remembering God in the company of the Guru.
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ (ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ) ਸਿਮਰਦਿਆਂ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਗੇੜ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ (ਭਟਕਣਾਂ ਦੇ) ਥਕੇਵੇਂ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਪਤਿਤ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਹੋਹਿ ਖਿਨ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕੈ ਰੰਗਿ ॥੧॥
patit puneet hohi khin bheetar paarbarahm kai rang. ||1||
The life of even the worst sinners becomes immaculate by being imbued with the love of the supreme God. |1||
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਰੰਗ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਕਾਰੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਭੀ ਇਕ ਖਿਨ ਵਿਚ ਸੁੱਚੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
ਜੋ ਜੋ ਕਥੈ ਸੁਨੈ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਨਾਸ ॥
jo jo kathai sunai har keertan taa kee durmat naas.
Any person who sings or listens to God’s praises, his evil intellect vanishes
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਉਚਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਖੋਟੀ ਮੱਤ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪਾਵੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਵੈ ਆਸ ॥੨॥੧॥੧੨॥
sagal manorath paavai naanak pooran hovai aas. ||2||1||12||
O’ Nanak, he achieves all his objectives and his every hope is fulfilled. ||2||1||12||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮਨੋ-ਕਾਮਨਾਂ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਹਰੇਕ ਆਸ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੧॥੧੨॥

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਨਿਧਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਨਾਮ ॥
saaDhsangat niDh har ko naam.
The treasure of God’s name is attained by remaining in the company of the Guru,
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ (ਰਿਹਾਂ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ (ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ),
ਸੰਗਿ ਸਹਾਈ ਜੀਅ ਕੈ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sang sahaa-ee jee-a kai kaam. ||1|| rahaa-o.
which remains one’s companion forever and is useful in life. ||1||Pause||
(ਜੋ ਜੀਵ ਦੇ) ਨਾਲ (ਸਦਾ) ਸਾਥੀ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਜਿੰਦ ਦੇ (ਸਦਾ) ਕੰਮ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਸੰਤ ਰੇਨੁ ਨਿਤਿ ਮਜਨੁ ਕਰੈ ॥
sant rayn nit majan karai.
One who listens to the Guru’s word as if he bathes daily in the dust of his feet,
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਰਨ-ਧੂੜ ਵਿਚ ਸਦਾ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਹਰੈ ॥੧॥
janam janam kay kilbikh harai. ||1||
gets rid of the sins of countless births. ||1||
ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜਨਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੀ ਊਚੀ ਬਾਨੀ ॥
sant janaa kee oochee baanee.
The Guru’s divine word is uplifting for the human life,
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ (ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ) ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਬਾਣੀ,
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਤਰੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ ॥੨॥੨॥੧੩॥
simar simar taray naanak paraanee. ||2||2||13||
and by lovingly remembering it, O’ Nanak, many mortals have been carried across the worldly ocean of vices. ||2||2||13||
ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਦੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥੨॥੧੩॥

Raag Kaanraa, Fifth Guru:
ਸਾਧੂ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਇ ॥
saaDhoo har haray gun gaa-ay.
O’ brother, follow the Guru’s teachings and sing the praises of that God,
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ, ਤੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇਆ ਕਰ,
ਮਾਨ ਤਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਦੁਖੁ ਜਾਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
maan tan Dhan paraan parabh kay simrat dukh jaa-ay. ||1|| rahaa-o.
to whom belongs our mind, body, worldly wealth and our life; all our suffering is dispelled by remembering that God with adoration. ||1||Pause||
ਇਹ ਮਨ, ਤਨ, ਧਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿੰਦ ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਮਲਕੀਅਤ ਹਨ; ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਦਿਆਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਈਤ ਊਤ ਕਹਾ ਲੋੁਭਾਵਹਿ ਏਕ ਸਿਉ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਇ ॥੧॥
eet oot kahaa lobhaaveh ayk si-o man laa-ay. ||1||
O’ mortal, why are you lured by this and that worldly things? Instead focus your mind on God alone. ||1||
ਹੇ ਜੀਵ, ਤੂੰ ਇਧਰ ਉਧਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਲੋਭ ਵਿਚ ਫਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ? ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਨ ਜੋੜ ॥੧॥
ਮਹਾ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਸੰਤ ਆਸਨੁ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਗੋਬਿਦੁ ਧਿਆਇ ॥੨॥
mahaa pavitar sant aasan mil sang gobid Dhi-aa-ay. ||2||
O’ mortal, supremely immaculate is the Guru’s Company, join it and remember God with adoration. ||2||
ਹੇ ਜੀਵ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰ ॥੨॥
ਸਗਲ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਸਰਨਿ ਆਇਓ ਨਾਨਕ ਲੇਹੁ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥੩॥੩॥੧੪॥
sagal ti-aag saran aa-i-o naanak layho milaa-ay. ||3||3||14||
O’ Nanak, say, O’ God, forsaking all other supports, I have come to Your refuge; please unite me with Yourself. ||3||3||14||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਆਖ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਸਾਰੇ (ਆਸਰੇ) ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਨ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜੀ ਰੱਖ ॥੩॥੩॥੧੪॥

ਪੇਖਿ ਪੇਖਿ ਬਿਗਸਾਉ ਸਾਜਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪਨਾ ਇਕਾਂਤ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
paykh paykh bigsaa-o saajan parabh aapnaa ikaaNt. ||1|| rahaa-o.
O brother! I am delighted to visualize my dear God pervading everywhere; even though He is omnipresent, still He remains detached. ||1||Pause||
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੱਜਣ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ (ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਵੱਸਦਾ) ਵੇਖ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ, (ਉਹ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਭੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਤੋਂ) ਵੱਖਰਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਆਨਦਾ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਤਿਸੁ ਆਨ ਨਾਹੀ ਭਾਂਤਿ ॥੧॥
aandaa sukh sahj moorat tis aan naahee bhaaNt. ||1||
He is the embodiment of bliss, peace and spiritual poise; there is none other like Him. ||1||
ਉਹ ਸੱਜਣ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਨੰਦ-ਰੂਪ ਹੈ, ਸੁਖ-ਸਰੂਪ ਹੈ, ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦਾ ਸਰੂਪ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਸਿਮਰਤ ਇਕ ਬਾਰ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਟਿ ਕੋਟਿ ਕਸਮਲ ਜਾਂਤਿ ॥੨॥
simrat ik baar har har mit kot kasmal jaaNt. ||2||
By sincerely remembering God even once, millions of sins are erased ||2||
ਕੇਵਲ ਇਕ ਦਫਾ ਹੀ ਸਾਈਂ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਹੀ ਪਾਪ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
