ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੩ ॥

Shalok, Third Guru:
ਅਮਰੁ ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹੁ ਹੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਨਾਲਿ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਨ ਚਲਈ ਨ ਹੁਜਤਿ ਕਰਣੀ ਜਾਇ ॥
amar vayparvaahu hai tis naal si-aanap na chal-ee na hujat karnee jaa-ay.
The eternal God is not dependent on anyone, neither any wisdom nor any argument works with Him.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਅਟੱਲ ਹੈ, ਬੇ-ਮੁਥਾਜ ਹੈ, ਨਾਹ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਚੱਲ ਸਕਦੀ, ਨਾਹ ਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਦਲੀਲ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ l
ਆਪੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਸਰਣਾਇ ਪਵੈ ਮੰਨਿ ਲਏ ਰਜਾਇ ॥
aap chhod sarnaa-ay pavai man la-ay rajaa-ay.
One who abandons self-conceit, seeks His refuge and gladly accepts His will,
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਾ-ਭਾਵ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਰਨੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ,ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਾਣੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਮ ਡੰਡੁ ਨ ਲਗਈ ਹਉਮੈ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਜਾਇ ॥
gurmukh jam dand na lag-ee ha-umai vichahu jaa-ay.
the ego of such a Guru’s follower vanishes from within and the demon (fear) of death cannot punish him.
ਐਸੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਹਉਮੈ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਮਰਾਜ ਕੋਈ ਤਾੜਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਸੇਵਕੁ ਸੋਈ ਆਖੀਐ ਜਿ ਸਚਿ ਰਹੈ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥੧॥
naanak sayvak so-ee aakhee-ai je sach rahai liv laa-ay. ||1||
O’ Nanak, that person alone is considered a true devotee of the eternal God who remains focused on Him. ||1||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸੱਚੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਰਤ ਜੋੜੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥

Third Guru:
ਦਾਤਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਭ ਸੂਰਤਿ ਤੇਰੀ ॥
daat jot sabh soorat tayree.
O’ God, this soul and body all are part of the gifts blessed by You.
(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਇਹ ਜਿੰਦ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਰੀਰ ਸਭ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਈ ਦਾਤ ਹੈ l
ਬਹੁਤੁ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਹਉਮੈ ਮੇਰੀ ॥
bahut si-aanap ha-umai mayree.
Because of one’s excessive cleverness, ego and possessiveness,
ਬੜੀਆਂ ਚਲਾਕੀਆਂ (ਕਰਨੀਆਂ) ਹਉਮੈ ਤੇ ਮਮਤਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ,
ਬਹੁ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਵਹਿ ਲੋਭਿ ਮੋਹਿ ਵਿਆਪੇ ਹਉਮੈ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਚੂਕੈ ਫੇਰੀ ॥
baho karam kamaaveh lobh mohi vi-aapay ha-umai kaday na chookai fayree.
people engrossed in greed and attachment keep doing many deeds; because of ego, their cycle of birth and death never ends.
ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲੋਭ ਤੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਫਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਰ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਹਉਮੈ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦਾ ਗੇੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੱਕਦਾ l
ਨਾਨਕ ਆਪਿ ਕਰਾਏ ਕਰਤਾ ਜੋ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਸਾਈ ਗਲ ਚੰਗੇਰੀ ॥੨॥
naanak aap karaa-ay kartaa jo tis bhaavai saa-ee gal changayree. ||2||
O’ Nanak, the Creator Himself makes people act in a particular way (as per their deeds),to accept what pleases Him is best and the righteous way of life. ||2||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਕਰਤਾਰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਆਪ ਕਰਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਗੱਲ ਸਮਝਣਾ ਹੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਸਹੀ ਰਸਤਾ ਹੈ॥੨॥

Pauree, Fifth Guru:
ਸਚੁ ਖਾਣਾ ਸਚੁ ਪੈਨਣਾ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥
sach khaanaa sach painnaa sach naam aDhaar.
God’s Name becomes the food, clothes and support of that person,
ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ (ਜਿੰਦ ਦੀ) ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ ਤੇ ਪੁਸ਼ਾਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਮੇਲਾਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਦੇਵਣਹਾਰੁ ॥
gur poorai maylaa-i-aa parabh dayvanhaar.
whom the perfect Guru has united with God, the benefactor.
ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ (ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ) ਸਭ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਭਾਗੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਤਿਨ ਜਾਗਿਆ ਜਪਿਆ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ॥
bhaag pooraa tin jaagi-aa japi-aa nirankaar.
Those people’s destiny becomes fully realized who lovingly remember the formless God.
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਪੂਰੀ ਖੁਲ੍ਹ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਲਗਿਆ ਤਰਿਆ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥
saaDhoo sangat lagi-aa tari-aa sansaar.
By joining the company of the Guru, they cross over the worldly ocean of vices.
ਉਨ੍ਹਾ ਨੇ ਸਾਧੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ, ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਿਫਤਿ ਸਲਾਹ ਕਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਾ ਜੈਕਾਰੁ ॥੩੫॥
naanak sifat salaah kar parabh kaa jaikaar. ||35||
O’ Nanak, sing the praises and glory of God. ||35||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕਰ ॥੩੫॥

Shalok, Fifth Guru:
ਸਭੇ ਜੀਅ ਸਮਾਲਿ ਅਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰੁ ॥
sabhay jee-a samaal apnee mihar kar.
O’ God, bestow Your mercy and take care of all the beings;
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਰ ਲੈ;
ਅੰਨੁ ਪਾਣੀ ਮੁਚੁ ਉਪਾਇ ਦੁਖ ਦਾਲਦੁ ਭੰਨਿ ਤਰੁ ॥
ann paanee much upaa-ay dukh daalad bhann tar.
please produce abundant food and water, and save them by eradicating their misery and poverty.
ਅੰਨ ਪਾਣੀ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ, ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖ-ਦਲਿੱਦਰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬਚਾ ਲੈ|
ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ਸੁਣੀ ਦਾਤਾਰਿ ਹੋਈ ਸਿਸਟਿ ਠਰੁ ॥
ardaas sunee daataar ho-ee sisat thar.
The benefactor God listened to this prayer and the entire creation was comforted.
ਇਹ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਦਾਤਾਰ ਨੇ ਸੁਣੀ ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
ਲੇਵਹੁ ਕੰਠਿ ਲਗਾਇ ਅਪਦਾ ਸਭ ਹਰੁ ॥
layvhu kanth lagaa-ay apdaa sabh har.
O’ God, embrace this suffering world and eradicate its entire calamity.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਰੱਖ ਅਤੇ (ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ) ਸਾਰੀ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਹ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਾ ਸਫਲੁ ਘਰੁ ॥੧॥
naanak naam Dhi-aa-ay parabh kaa safal ghar. ||1||
O’ Nanak, say, O’ brother, lovingly remember God’s Name because with His grace all wishes are fulfilled. ||1||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਮੁਰਾਦਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥

Fifth Guru:
ਵੁਠੇ ਮੇਘ ਸੁਹਾਵਣੇ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਰਤਾਰਿ ॥
vuthay maygh suhaavanay hukam keetaa kartaar.
When the Creator-God issued command, the pleasing clouds of His Name started raining,
ਜਦੋਂ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਸੋਹਣੇ ਬੱਦਲ ਆ ਕੇ ਵਰ੍ਹ ਪਏ,
ਰਿਜਕੁ ਉਪਾਇਓਨੁ ਅਗਲਾ ਠਾਂਢਿ ਪਈ ਸੰਸਾਰਿ ॥
rijak upaa-i-on aglaa thaaNdh pa-ee sansaar.
thus God produced abundant spiritual sustenance of Naam, and the world was comforted.
(ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਸਦਕਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਨਾਮ-ਧਨ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਰਨ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਠੰਢ ਪਈ),
ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਹਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰ ॥
tan man hari-aa ho-i-aa simrat agam apaar.
The body and mind of the devotees blossomed in delight by lovingly remembering the incomprehensible and infinite God.
ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਤੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਤਨ ਮਨ ਖਿੜ ਪਿਆ।
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਚੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ॥
kar kirpaa parabh aapnee sachay sirjanhaar.
O’ God, the eternal Creator, bestow Your mercy (and bless me also with the wealth of Naam).
ਹੇ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ (ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਇਹੀ ਨਾਮ-ਧਨ ਦੇਹ),
ਕੀਤਾ ਲੋੜਹਿ ਸੋ ਕਰਹਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰ ॥੨॥
keetaa lorheh so karahi naanak sad balihaar. ||2||
O’ Nanak! say, O’ God! You do what You wish to do and I am always dedicated to You. ||2||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਆਖ, ਹੇ ਵਹਿਗੁਰੂ! ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਉਹੀ ਤੂੰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਕੇ ਹਾਂ॥੨॥

Pauree:
ਵਡਾ ਆਪਿ ਅਗੰਮੁ ਹੈ ਵਡੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
vadaa aap agamm hai vadee vadi-aa-ee.
The great God Himself is beyond the reach of our senses and His glory is also great.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਇਤਨਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਤਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਭੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਰਚਨਾ ਰਚੀ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਭੀ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੈ);
ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਵੇਖਿ ਵਿਗਸਿਆ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਆਈ ॥
gur sabdee vaykh vigsi-aa antar saaNt aa-ee.
Tranquility has prevailed within the one who is delighted by visualizing God’s greatness through the Guru’s word.
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਖਿੜਾਉ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਆ ਵੱਸੀ ਹੈ।
ਸਭੁ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਆਪੇ ਹੈ ਭਾਈ ॥
sabh aapay aap varatdaa aapay hai bhaa-ee.
O’ brothers, God Himself is pervading everywhere and is all by Himself.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਖੁਦ-ਬ-ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁਛ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹੈ,
ਆਪਿ ਨਾਥੁ ਸਭ ਨਥੀਅਨੁ ਸਭ ਹੁਕਮਿ ਚਲਾਈ ॥
aap naath sabh nathee-an sabh hukam chalaa-ee.
God Himself is the Master, He keeps the entire creation under His control and makes all to follow His command.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਖਸਮ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਚਲਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੋ ਕਰੇ ਸਭ ਚਲੈ ਰਜਾਈ ॥੩੬॥੧॥ ਸੁਧੁ ॥
naanak har bhaavai so karay sabh chalai rajaa-ee. ||36||1|| suDh.
O’ Nanak, God does only whatever pleases Him, and the entire universe acts as per His will. ||36||1||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਉਸੇ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ॥੩੬॥੧॥
ਰਾਗੁ ਸਾਰੰਗ ਬਾਣੀ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਕੀ ॥

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ik-oNkaar satgur parsaad.
One eternal God, realized by the grace of the true Guru:
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਹਾ ਨਰ ਗਰਬਸਿ ਥੋਰੀ ਬਾਤ ॥
kahaa nar garbas thoree baat.
O’ mortal, why are you egotistically proud of an insignificant matter (such as a short lived life)?
ਹੇ ਬੰਦੇ! ਥੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਪਿੱਛੇ (ਭਾਵ, ਇਸ ਚੰਦ-ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਪਿੱਛੇ) ਕਿਉਂ ਮਾਣ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ?
ਮਨ ਦਸ ਨਾਜੁ ਟਕਾ ਚਾਰਿ ਗਾਂਠੀ ਐਂਡੌ ਟੇਢੌ ਜਾਤੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
man das naaj takaa chaar gaaNthee aiNdou taydhou jaat. ||1|| rahaa-o.
Just because you have some bushels of grain and some coins in your wallet, you are acting so arrogantly. ||1||Pause||
ਦਸ ਮਣ ਅਨਾਜ ਤੇ ਚਾਰ ਟਕੇ ਪੱਲੇ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਇੰਨਾ ਆਕੜਿਆਂ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਬਹੁਤੁ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪੁ ਗਾਂਉ ਸਉ ਪਾਏ ਦੁਇ ਲਖ ਟਕਾ ਬਰਾਤ ॥
bahut partaap gaaN-o sa-o paa-ay du-ay lakh takaa baraat.
If you have been honored even more and you rule over an estate of one hundred villages with a revenue of two hundred thousand coins,
ਜੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਭੀ ਵਧੀਕ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਸੌ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਕੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਜਾਂ (ਲੱਖ) ਦੋ ਲੱਖ ਟਕੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਗੀਰ ਮਿਲ ਗਈ,
ਦਿਵਸ ਚਾਰਿ ਕੀ ਕਰਹੁ ਸਾਹਿਬੀ ਜੈਸੇ ਬਨ ਹਰ ਪਾਤ ॥੧॥
divas chaar kee karahu saahibee jaisay ban har paat. ||1||
even then, you would govern this estate only for few days like the leaves in a forest, which remain green only for few days. ||1||
ਤਾਂ ਭੀ ਚਾਰ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਸਰਦਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਲਵੋਗੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਜੰਗਲ ਦੇ ਹਰੇ ਪੱਤੇ ਚਾਰ ਦਿਨ ਹੀ ਹਰੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ|॥੧॥
ਨਾ ਕੋਊ ਲੈ ਆਇਓ ਇਹੁ ਧਨੁ ਨਾ ਕੋਊ ਲੈ ਜਾਤੁ ॥
naa ko-oo lai aa-i-o ih Dhan naa ko-oo lai jaat.
Neither has anyone ever brought wealth with him when he came into this world, nor one carries it while departing from here.
ਇਹ ਮਾਲ-ਧਨ ਨਾਹ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ (ਜੰਮਣ ਵੇਲੇ) ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਨਾਹ ਕੋਈ (ਮਰਨ ਵੇਲੇ) ਇਹ ਧਨ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਰਾਵਨ ਹੂੰ ਤੇ ਅਧਿਕ ਛਤ੍ਰਪਤਿ ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਗਏ ਬਿਲਾਤ ॥੨॥

ਰਾਵਣ ਤੋਂ ਭੀ ਵੱਡੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਇਕ ਪਲਕ ਵਿਚ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਚੱਲ ਵਸੇ ॥੨॥
