ਬਾਹ ਪਕਰਿ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਨਿਸਤਾਰਿਓ ॥੨॥
baah pakar bhavjal nistaari-o. ||2||
holding me by the arm (extending His support), He ferried me across the dreadful worldly ocean of vices. ||2||
ਬਾਹੋਂ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ (ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ) ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੨॥
ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਕਾਟਿ ਮੈਲੁ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਕਰੇ ॥
parabh kaat mail nirmal karay.
By removing the dirt of vices, God has made those persons immaculate,
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੈਲ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ,
ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਕੀ ਸਰਣੀ ਪਰੇ ॥੩॥
gur pooray kee sarnee paray. ||3||
who sought the perfect Guru’s refuge. ||3||
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਗਏ ॥੩॥
ਆਪਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਆਪਿ ਕਰਣੈਹਾਰੇ ॥
aap karahi aap karnaihaaray.
God Himself is the creator and He Himself is doing everything.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਿਰਜਨਹਾਰ ਹੈੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈੈ।
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਉਧਾਰੇ ॥੪॥੪॥੧੭॥
kar kirpaa naanak uDhaaray. ||4||4||17||
O’ Nanak, bestowing mercy, God ferries His devotees across the world-ocean of vices. ||4||4||17||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ, ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੪॥੧੭॥

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ik-oNkaar satgur parsaad.
One eternal God, realized by the grace of the true Guru:
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਦੇਖੁ ਫੂਲ ਫੂਲ ਫੂਲੇ ॥
daykh fool fool foolay.
(O’ brother), look, flowers are blooming all around,
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ) ਵੇਖ! ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਫੁੱਲ ਹੀ ਫੁੱਲ ਖਿੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ,
ਅਹੰ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਤਿਆਗੇ ॥
ahaN ti-aag ti-aagay.
if you abandon your ego, you would also spiritually blossom,
ਜੇ ਤੂੰ (ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਹਉਮੈ ਦੂਰ ਕਰੇਂ,
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਪਾਗੇ ॥
charan kamal paagay.
and if you focus on God’s immaculate Name,
ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਚੰਬੜਿਆ ਰਹੇਂ,
ਤੁਮ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਭਾਗੇ ॥
tum milhu parabh sabhaagay.
then, O’ the fortunate one, you would realize God.
ਤਾਂ ਹੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ! ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਪਵੇਗਾ l
ਹਰਿ ਚੇਤਿ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
har chayt man mayray. rahaa-o.
Therefore O’ my mind, keep remembering God with adoration. ||Pause||
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹੁ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਸਘਨ ਬਾਸੁ ਕੂਲੇ ॥
saghan baas koolay.
(When spring season starts) trees become laden with tender new leaves, which emit fragrance and provide dense shade,
ਜਦੋਂ ਬਸੰਤ ਦਾ ਸਮਾ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ), ਤਦੋਂ ਰੁੱਖ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਛਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ, ਅਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਪਤੇ ਸੁਗੰਧੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਰਮ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ,
ਇਕਿ ਰਹੇ ਸੂਕਿ ਕਠੂਲੇ ॥
ik rahay sook kathoolay.
but many other trees remain dry and hard like wood.
ਪਰ ਕਈ ਰੁੱਖ ਐਸੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਸੁੱਕੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੇ, ਸੁੱਕੇ ਕਾਠ ਵਰਗੇ ਕਰੜੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਬਸੰਤ ਰੁਤਿ ਆਈ ॥ ਪਰਫੂਲਤਾ ਰਹੇ ॥੧॥
basant rut aa-ee. parfooltaa rahay.||1||
O’ brother, the spring (the season to blossom) has come; you also lovingly remember God and remain spiritually blossomed. ||1||
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ) ਬਹਾਰ ਦੀ ਰੁੱਤ ਆ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਵੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰ ਅਤੇ ਖਿੜਿਆ ਰੁਹ ॥੧॥
ਅਬ ਕਲੂ ਆਇਓ ਰੇ ॥
ab kaloo aa-i-o ray.
Now (human life), the time has come to sow the seed of Naam.
ਹੁਣ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਿਲਣ ਤੇ (ਨਾਮ ਬੀਜਣ ਦਾ) ਸਮਾ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਕੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਬੋਵਹੁ ਬੋਵਹੁ ॥
ik naam bovhu bovhu.
Therefore, for sure sow the seed of God’s Name in your heart;
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਰੂਪੀ ਜਰੂਰ ਬੀਜ।
ਅਨ ਰੂਤਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਨਾਹੀ ॥
an root naahee naahee.
There is no other season (life) to sow the seed of Naam,
ਨਾਮ ਬੀਜਣ ਲਈ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਤੋ ਸਿਵਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਰੁੱਤ ਨਹੀਂ,
ਮਤੁ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੂਲਹੁ ਭੂਲਹੁ ॥
mat bharam bhoolahu bhoolahu.
lest you go astray in the illusion of materialism.
ਵੇਖੀਂ, (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ) ਭੱਜ-ਦੌੜ ਵਿਚ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਨਾਹ ਪੈ ਜਾਈਂ।
ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲੇ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਏ ॥ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਹੈ ਲੇਖਾ ॥
gur milay har paa-ay. jis mastak hai laykhaa.
Only the one who is preordained, follows the Guru’s teachings and realizes God.
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉਤੇ ਐਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਲਬਧ ਲਿਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਊਹ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਮਨ ਰੁਤਿ ਨਾਮ ਰੇ ॥
man rut naam ray.
O’ my mind, this (human life) is the right time to sow the seed of Naam,
ਹੇ ਮਨ! (ਇਹ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਹੀ) ਨਾਮ ਬੀਜਣ ਦਾ ਸਮਾ ਹੈ,
ਗੁਨ ਕਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ॥੨॥੧੮॥
gun kahay naanak har haray har haray. ||2||18||
O’ Nanak, (one who has sowed the seed of Naam in his heart) sings praises of God and keeps reciting God’s Name. ||2||18||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਬੀਜ ਬੀਜਿਆ ਹੈ) ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹੀ ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਉਚਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੧੮॥

ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਹੋਇ ਇਕਤ੍ਰ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਦੂਰਿ ਕਰਹੁ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥
ho-ay ikatar milhu mayray bhaa-ee dubiDhaa door karahu liv laa-ay.
O’ my brothers, get together and join the holy company, and remove your sense of duality by focusing your mind on God;
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੀਰ! ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਬੈਠਿਆ ਕਰੋ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਰਤ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਦਵੈਤ ਭਾਵ ਦੂਰ ਕਰੋ;
ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੈ ਕੇ ਹੋਵਹੁ ਜੋੜੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬੈਸਹੁ ਸਫਾ ਵਿਛਾਇ ॥੧॥
har naamai kay hovhu jorhee gurmukh baishu safaa vichhaa-ay. ||1||
become spiritually stable by following the Guru’s teachings and be partners in the game of remembering God’s Name. ||1||
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਏ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਚਟਾਈ ਵਿਛਾ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਟਿਕਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੀ-ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਖੇਡ ਰਲ ਕੇ ਖੇਡਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਬਣੋ ॥੧॥
ਇਨ੍ਹ੍ ਬਿਧਿ ਪਾਸਾ ਢਾਲਹੁ ਬੀਰ ॥
inH biDh paasaa dhaalahu beer.
O’ my brothers, throw your dice (lead your life) in such a way,
ਹੇ ਵੀਰ! ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ (ਇਸ ਜੀਵਨ-ਖੇਡ ਵਿਚ) ਦਾਅ ਚਲਾਵੋ (ਪਾਸਾ ਸੁੱਟੋ),
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਹੁ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਅੰਤ ਕਾਲਿ ਨਹ ਲਾਗੈ ਪੀਰ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
gurmukh naam japahu din raatee ant kaal nah laagai peer. ||1|| rahaa-o.
that you follow the Guru’s teachings and always remember God’s Name; if you do that, then you will feel no pain at the time of death. ||1||Pause||
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰੋ। (ਜੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਖੇਡ ਖੇਡਦੇ ਰਹੋਗੇ ਤਾਂ) ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਅਖ਼ੀਰਲੇ ਸਮੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗੇਗਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਕਰਮ ਧਰਮ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ ਚਉਪੜਿ ਸਾਜਹੁ ਸਤੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ ਸਾਰੀ ॥
karam Dharam tumH cha-uparh saajahu sat karahu tumH saaree.
O’ my friends, make virtuous deeds and righteousness as the game board, and compassion as dice,
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ, ਨੇਕ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੌਪੜ ਦੀ ਖੇਡ ਬਣਾਵੋ, ਦਇਆ ਨੂੰ ਨਰਦ ਬਣਾਵੋ,
ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਲੋਭੁ ਮੋਹੁ ਜੀਤਹੁ ਐਸੀ ਖੇਲ ਹਰਿ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥੨॥
kaam kroDh lobh moh jeetahu aisee khayl har pi-aaree. ||2||
and through this game of life, control your lust, anger, greed, and worldly attachment because such a game is dear to God. ||2||
ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਖੇਡ ਦੁਆਰਾਂ ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਲੋਭ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਹ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਰੋ, ਕਿਓਂਕਿ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਖੇਡ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਉਠਿ ਇਸਨਾਨੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਪਰਭਾਤੇ ਸੋਏ ਹਰਿ ਆਰਾਧੇ॥
uth isnaan karahu parbhaatay so-ay har aaraaDhay.
O’ brother! wake up early in the morning and bathe your mind in the God’s Name, also keep God in your remembrance even while asleep;
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੀਰ! ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ (ਨਾਮ-ਜਲ ਵਿਚ) ਚੁੱਭੀ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਰੋ, ਸੁੱਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਭੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜੇ ਰਹੋ।
ਬਿਖੜੇ ਦਾਉ ਲੰਘਾਵੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਸੇਤੀ ਘਰਿ ਜਾਤੇ ॥੩॥
bikh-rhay daa-o langhaavai mayraa satgur sukh sahj saytee ghar jaatay. ||3||
(those who do it), my true Guru helps them against the difficult tricks of vices, and they reach their true home (God’s presence) with peace and poise. ||3||
(ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਹ ਉੱਦਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਪਿਆਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ (ਕਾਮਾਦਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਟਾਕਰੇ ਤੇ) ਔਖੇ ਦਾਅ ਤੋਂ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦੇ ਸੁਖ-ਆਨੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩॥
ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਖੇਲੈ ਆਪੇ ਦੇਖੈ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਰਚਨੁ ਰਚਾਇਆ ॥
har aapay khaylai aapay daykhai har aapay rachan rachaa-i-aa.
God Himself plays and Himself watches over the game of this world; God Himself has created this creation.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਗਤ-ਖੇਡ ਖੇਡਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਖੇਡ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਰਚਨਾ ਰਚੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜੋ ਨਰੁ ਖੇਲੈ ਸੋ ਜਿਣਿ ਬਾਜੀ ਘਰਿ ਆਇਆ ॥੪॥੧॥੧੯॥
jan naanak gurmukh jo nar khaylai so jin baajee ghar aa-i-aa. ||4||1||19||
O’ Nanak, one who follows the Guru’s teachings and plays this game of life against vices, returns to his divine home after winning the game of life. ||4||1||19||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਇਥੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ (ਕਾਮਾਦਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਟਾਕਰੇ ਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ-ਖੇਡ) ਖੇਡਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਇਹ ਬਾਜੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਦਰ ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੧॥੧੯॥

ਤੇਰੀ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਤੂਹੈ ਜਾਣਹਿ ਅਉਰੁ ਨ ਦੂਜਾ ਜਾਣੈ ॥
tayree kudrat toohai jaaneh a-or na doojaa jaanai.
O’ Almighty, only You know about Your creative power, no one else knows anything about it.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੀ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ (ਤਾਕਤ) ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ (ਤੇਰੀ ਸਮਰਥਾ ਨੂੰ) ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਹਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸੋਈ ਤੁਝੈ ਪਛਾਣੈ ॥੧॥
jis no kirpaa karahi mayray pi-aaray so-ee tujhai pachhaanai. ||1||
O’ my beloved God, only that person realizes You, upon whom You bastow mercy. ||1||
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਉਹੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਤੇਰਿਆ ਭਗਤਾ ਕਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਾ ॥
tayri-aa bhagtaa ka-o balihaaraa.
O’ God, I am dedicated to Your devotees.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਥਾਨੁ ਸੁਹਾਵਾ ਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੇਰਾ ਰੰਗ ਤੇਰੇ ਆਪਾਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
thaan suhaavaa sadaa parabh tayraa rang tayray aapaaraa. ||1|| rahaa-o.
O’ God! beautiful is Your abode (the saintly congregation) and limitless are Your wonders. ||1||Pause||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੂੰ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਸਦਾ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਹੈ, ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਚੋਜ-ਤਮਾਸ਼ੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਤੇਰੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਤੁਝ ਤੇ ਹੋਵੈ ਅਉਰੁ ਨ ਦੂਜਾ ਕਰਤਾ ॥
tayree sayvaa tujh tay hovai a-or na doojaa kartaa.
O’ God, Your devotional worship is performed only when You so inspire, and none other can do it (without Your inspiration).
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ, (ਤੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ) ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਹੋਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ (ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤੀ) ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਭਗਤੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਸੋਈ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਤੂ ਰੰਗੁ ਧਰਤਾ ॥੨॥
bhagat tayraa so-ee tuDh bhaavai jis no too rang Dhartaa. ||2||
Only that person is Your true devotee who is pleasing to You, and whom You imbue with Your love. ||2||
ਤੇਰਾ ਭਗਤ (ਭੀ) ਉਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ) ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ (ਦੇ ਮਨ) ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ (ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਦਾ) ਰੰਗ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੨॥
