ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਖੰਡ ਦੀਪ ਸਭਿ ਲੋਆ ॥
simrahi khand deep sabh lo-aa.
The people living on all the continents, islands and worlds remember God.
ਸਾਰੇ ਖੰਡਾਂ ਦੀਪਾਂ ਮੰਡਲਾਂ (ਦੇ ਜੀਵ) ਉਸ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਪਾਤਾਲ ਪੁਰੀਆ ਸਚੁ ਸੋਆ ॥
simrahi paataal puree-aa sach so-aa.
The dwellers of the nether world and all the cities remember (obey the command of) the eternal God.
ਪਾਤਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪੁਰੀਆਂ (ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀ) ਉਸ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਹਨ)।
ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਖਾਣੀ ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਸਗਲੇ ਹਰਿ ਜਨਾ ॥੨॥
simrahi khaanee simrahi banee simrahi saglay har janaa. ||2||
The creatures from all the sources of creations and using all kinds of speech obey God’s will; all the devotees of God lovingly remember Him. ||2||
ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਖਾਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਣੀਆਂ (ਦੇ ਜੀਵ),ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਵਰਤ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ; ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੇ ਬਿਸਨ ਮਹੇਸਾ ॥
simrahi barahmay bisan mahaysaa.
Even the gods Brahma, Vishnoo and Shiva remember God.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਨੂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਕੋੜਿ ਤੇਤੀਸਾ ॥
simrahi dayvtay korh tayteesaa.
Millions of angels also remember God.
ਤੇਤੀ ਕ੍ਰੋੜ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਯਾਦ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਜਖ੍ਯ੍ਯਿ ਦੈਤ ਸਭਿ ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਅਗਨਤੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ਜਸੁ ਗਨਾ ॥੩॥
simrahi jakh-y dait sabh simrahi agnat na jaa-ee jas ganaa. ||3||
All the Yakash (kind of angels) and all the demons remember God; it is not possible to count the number of those who sing His praise. ||3||
ਸਾਰੇ ਜੱਖ੍ਯ੍ਯ ਅਤੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਉਸ ਅਗਣਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਯਾਦ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੩॥
ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਪਸੁ ਪੰਖੀ ਸਭਿ ਭੂਤਾ ॥
simrahi pas pankhee sabh bhootaa.
All the animals, birds, and beings live by God’s command.
ਸਾਰੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਪੰਛੀ ਆਦਿਕ ਜੀਵ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਬਨ ਪਰਬਤ ਅਉਧੂਤਾ ॥
simrahi ban parbat a-uDhootaa.
All the forests and mountains standing firm like the naked sages remain under God’s command.
ਜੰਗਲ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਂਗੇ ਸਾਧੂਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਅਡੋਲ ਟਿਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਪਹਾੜ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
ਲਤਾ ਬਲੀ ਸਾਖ ਸਭ ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਭ ਮਨਾ ॥੪॥
lataa balee saakh sabh simrahi rav rahi-aa su-aamee sabh manaa. ||4||
All the vines and branches of trees are also under God’s command; the Master-God is pervading in the minds of all the beings. ||4||
ਵੇਲਾਂ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਖਾਂ, ਸਭ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥
ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਥੂਲ ਸੂਖਮ ਸਭਿ ਜੰਤਾ ॥
simrahi thool sookham sabh jantaa.
All beings, whether big or small, are all under God’s will.
ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੇ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਨਿੱਕੇ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ)।
ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਸਿਧ ਸਾਧਿਕ ਹਰਿ ਮੰਤਾ ॥
simrahi siDh saaDhik har manntaa.
All the sages and adepts remember God and recite His divine word.
ਸਿੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਧਿਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਗੁਪਤ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਗਲ ਭਵਨ ਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਧਨਾ ॥੫॥
gupat pargat simrahi parabh mayray sagal bhavan kaa parabh Dhanaa. ||5||
O’ my God, all the visible and the invisible beings remember You and are under Your command and You are the master of all the worlds. ||5||
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਦਿੱਸਦੇ ਅਣਦਿੱਸਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਵਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ ॥੫॥
ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਨਰ ਨਾਰੀ ਆਸਰਮਾ ॥
simrahi nar naaree aasramaa.
Men and women of all the four stages of life (age groups) are remembering God with adoration.
ਚੌਹਾਂ ਆਸ਼੍ਰਮਾਂ (ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਰਜ, ਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਥ, ਵਾਨ-ਪ੍ਰਸਥ, ਸੰਨਿਆਸ) ਦੇ ਨਰ ਤੇ ਨਾਰੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਜਾਤਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਭਿ ਵਰਨਾ ॥
simrahi jaat jot sabh varnaa.
People belonging to all social classes and races remember God.
ਸਭ ਜਾਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਵਰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਗੁਣੀ ਚਤੁਰ ਸਭਿ ਬੇਤੇ ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਰੈਣੀ ਅਰੁ ਦਿਨਾ ॥੬॥
simrahi gunee chatur sabh baytay simrahi rainee ar dinaa. ||6||
All the virtuous, clever and wise people always remember God. ||6||
ਗੁਣਵਾਨ ਚਤੁਰ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ। (ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ) ਰਾਤ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੬॥
ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਘੜੀ ਮੂਰਤ ਪਲ ਨਿਮਖਾ ॥
simrahi gharhee moorat pal nimkhaa.
The hours, the moments and instants are passing according to God’s will.
ਘੜੀ ਮੁਹੂਰਤ, ਪਲ, ਨਿਮਖ (ਆਦਿਕ ਸਮੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੰਡਾਂ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਲੰਘਦੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਿਮਰੈ ਕਾਲੁ ਅਕਾਲੁ ਸੁਚਿ ਸੋਚਾ ॥
simrai kaal akaal such sochaa.
The death, birth, purification of bodily functions and the thought process are happening according to God’s will.
ਮੌਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਨਮ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸੁੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਭੀ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਸਉਣ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਸੰਜੋਗਾ ਅਲਖੁ ਨ ਲਖੀਐ ਇਕੁ ਖਿਨਾ ॥੭॥
simrahi sa-un saastar sanjogaa alakh na lakhee-ai ik khinaa. ||7||
All the Shastras about the auspicious moments and unions work as per God’s law; but even a bit of the virtues of the incomprehensible God cannot be described. ||7||
ਸੰਜੋਗ ਆਦਿਕ ਦੱਸਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਜੋਤਿਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਚੱਲ ਪਏ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸਹੀ ਸਰੂਪ ਰਤਾ ਭਰ ਭੀ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੭॥
ਕਰਨ ਕਰਾਵਨਹਾਰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥
karan karaavanhaar su-aamee.
O’ my Master-God, the doer and capable of getting everything done:
ਹੇ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਆਪ ਕਰ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਕਰਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ!
ਸਗਲ ਘਟਾ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥
sagal ghataa kay antarjaamee.
O’ God, the omniscient (knower of all minds);
ਹੇ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਜਿਸੁ ਭਗਤੀ ਲਾਵਹੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਸੋ ਜਿਨਾ ॥੮॥
kar kirpaa jis bhagtee laavhu janam padaarath so jinaa. ||8||
the person, upon whom You bestow mercy and unite to Your devotional worship, achieves the objective of this invaluable human life. ||8||
ਤੂੰ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਉਹ ਇਸ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਦੀ ਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੮॥
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਵੂਠਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪਨਾ ॥
jaa kai man voothaa parabh apnaa.
A person, in whose mind is enshrined dear God,
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਪੂਰੈ ਕਰਮਿ ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਜਪੁ ਜਪਨਾ ॥
poorai karam gur kaa jap japnaa.
by the grace of God, meditates on Naam by following the Guru’s teachings.
ਉਹ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ) ਪੂਰੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ (ਦੱਸਿਆ) ਨਾਮ-ਜਾਪ ਜਪਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਰਬ ਨਿਰੰਤਰਿ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਜਾਤਾ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਨ ਜੋਨੀ ਭਰਮਿ ਰੁਨਾ ॥੯॥
sarab nirantar so parabh jaataa bahurh na jonee bharam runaa. ||9||
That person realizes God pervading within all and he does not suffer wandering through the reincarnations ever again. ||9||
ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਪਛਾਣ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮੁੜ ਜੂਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ ਦੁਖੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ॥੯॥
ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਵਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਜਾ ਕੈ ॥
gur kaa sabad vasai man jaa kai.
One within whose mind is enshrined the Guru’s divine word,
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਟਿਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਦੂਖੁ ਦਰਦੁ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਭਾਗੈ ॥
dookh darad bharam taa kaa bhaagai.
all his sorrow, pain and doubt vanish.
ਉਸ ਦਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਦਰਦ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਆਨੰਦ ਨਾਮ ਰਸੁ ਅਨਹਦ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਹਜ ਧੁਨਾ ॥੧੦॥
sookh sahj aanand naam ras anhad banee sahj Dhunaa. ||10||
He rejoices with spiritual peace, poise, bliss and the elixir of God’s Name; the continuous melody of the Guru’s divine word keeps ringing within him. ||10||
ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦੇ ਸੁਖ-ਆਨੰਦ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਸਦਾ ਹੈ; ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਕ-ਰਸ ਬੇਕੁੰਠੀ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਗੂੰਜਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੦॥
ਸੋ ਧਨਵੰਤਾ ਜਿਨਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
so Dhanvantaa jin parabh Dhi-aa-i-aa.
That person alone is spiritually wealthy, who lovingly remembers God.
ਕੇਵਲ ਉਹ ਹੀ ਅਮੀਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਮਿਸਰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸੋ ਪਤਿਵੰਤਾ ਜਿਨਿ ਸਾਧਸੰਗੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
so pativantaa jin saaDhsang paa-i-aa.
He alone is honorable who has joined the company of the Guru.
ਕੇਵਲ ਉਹ ਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਆਬਰੂ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਵੂਠਾ ਸੋ ਪੂਰ ਕਰੰਮਾ ਨਾ ਛਿਨਾ ॥੧੧॥
paarbarahm jaa kai man voothaa so poor karammaa naa chhinaa. ||11||
One in whose mind is enshrined God, is very fortunate and no longer remains unknown. ||11||
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆ ਵੱਸਿਆ, ਉਹ ਵੱਡੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਉਹ ਅ-ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ॥੧੧॥
ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸੋਈ ॥
jal thal mahee-al su-aamee so-ee.
One and the same Master-God is pervading in water, land and sky,
ਉਹੀ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜਲ ਵਿਚ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕਹੀਐ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੋਈ ॥
avar na kahee-ai doojaa ko-ee.
and there is no one else said to be like Him.
ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਦੂਜਾ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਗੁਰ ਗਿਆਨ ਅੰਜਨਿ ਕਾਟਿਓ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਸਗਲਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਦੀਸੈ ਏਕ ਬਿਨਾ ॥੧੨॥
gur gi-aan anjan kaati-o bharam saglaa avar na deesai ayk binaa. ||12||
One whose all the doubt has been removed by the Guru’s divine wisdom, does not see anyone else but one God everywhere. ||12||
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਸੁਰਮੇ ਨੇ (ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ) ਸਾਰਾ ਭਰਮ (-ਜਾਲਾ) ਕੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ (ਕਿਤੇ ਕੋਈ) ਹੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ॥੧੨॥
ਊਚੇ ਤੇ ਊਚਾ ਦਰਬਾਰਾ ॥
oochay tay oochaa darbaaraa.
O’ God, higher than the highest is Your court (system of justice) ,
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰਾ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਭ (ਦਰਬਾਰਾਂ) ਨਾਲੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਹੈ,
ਕਹਣੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਰਾ ॥
kahan na jaa-ee ant na paaraa.
The extent of the coverage of His justice system cannot be described.
ਉਸ ਦਾ ਅਖ਼ੀਰ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਾਰਲਾ ਬੰਨਾ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਗਹਿਰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਅਥਾਹ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਤੁਲੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ਕਿਆ ਮਿਨਾ ॥੧੩॥
gahir gambheer athaah su-aamee atul na jaa-ee ki-aa minaa. ||13||
O’ my deeply profound and unfathomable Master, Your virtues are not measurable; how can one estimate Your worth ? ||13||
ਹੇ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਤੇ ਅਥਾਹ ! ਹੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਜਿਗਰੇ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਤੂੰ ਅਤੁੱਲ ਹੈਂ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੋਲਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਣਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੧੩॥
ਤੂ ਕਰਤਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਸਭੁ ਕੀਆ ॥
too kartaa tayraa sabh kee-aa.
O’ God, You are the creator and everything has been created by You.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ ਤੇਰਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਤੁਝੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਬੀਆ ॥
tujh bin avar na ko-ee bee-aa.
Except You, there is none other like You.
ਤੈਥੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ (ਤੇਰੇ ਵਰਗਾ) ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਦੂਜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
ਆਦਿ ਮਧਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਤੂਹੈ ਸਗਲ ਪਸਾਰਾ ਤੁਮ ਤਨਾ ॥੧੪॥
aad maDh ant parabh toohai sagal pasaaraa tum tanaa. ||14||
You are present since the beginning, middle, and end of all ages; this entire expanse originated from You. ||14||
ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਅਖ਼ੀਰ ਤਕ ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ-ਖਿਲਾਰਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੪॥
ਜਮਦੂਤੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥
jamdoot tis nikat na aavai.
The fear of death does not come near the person,
ਜਮਦੂਤ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਸਕਦਾ (ਮੌਤ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀ),
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਗਾਵੈ ॥
saaDhsang har keertan gaavai.
who sings praises of God in the company of saints .
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਜੋ ਸ੍ਰਵਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਾ ਜਸੁ ਸੁਨਾ ॥੧੫॥
sagal manorath taa kay pooran jo sarvanee parabh kaa jas sunaa. ||15||
One who keeps listening to God’s praises with his ears, all his objectives are fulfilled. ||15||
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਜਸ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੧੫॥
ਤੂ ਸਭਨਾ ਕਾ ਸਭੁ ਕੋ ਤੇਰਾ ॥ ਸਾਚੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਗਹਿਰ ਗੰਭੀਰਾ ॥
too sabhnaa kaa sabh ko tayraa. saachay saahib gahir gambheeraa.
O’ the eternal, profound and unfathomable God! You belong to all and all belong to You.
ਹੇ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਹੇ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਜਿਗਰੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰੇ ਹਨ।
