ਵਡੀ ਆਰਜਾ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਕੀ ਸੂਖ ਮੰਗਲ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਬੀਚਾਰਿਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
vadee aarjaa har gobind kee sookh mangal kali-aan beechaari-aa. ||1|| rahaa-o.
God Himself has blessed Har Gobind with a long life, and has taken care of his peace, bliss, and well being. ||1||Pause||
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹਰਿਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਲੰਮੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਖ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਆਨੰਦ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਵਣ ਤ੍ਰਿਣ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣ ਹਰਿਆ ਹੋਏ ਸਗਲੇ ਜੀਅ ਸਾਧਾਰਿਆ ॥
van tarin taribhavan hari-aa ho-ay saglay jee-a saaDhaari-aa.
God, by whose grace the forests, meadows and the three worlds remain blooming, gives His support to all beings.
ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੰਗਲ ਸਾਰੀ ਬਨਸਪਤੀ, ਤਿੰਨੇ ਹੀ ਭਵਨ ਹਰੇ-ਭਰੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਰਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਮਨ ਇਛੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਫਲ ਪਾਏ ਪੂਰਨ ਇਛ ਪੁਜਾਰਿਆ ॥੨॥੫॥੨੩॥
man ichhay naanak fal paa-ay pooran ichh pujaari-aa. ||2||5||23||
O’ Nanak, (those who come to God’s refuge,) receive the fruits of their mind’s desires; God fulfills all their wishes. ||2||5||23||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਜੇਹੜੇ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ) ਉਹ ਮਨ-ਮੰਗੀਆਂ ਮੁਰਾਦਾਂ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਾਮਨਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੫॥੨੩॥

Raag Bilaaval, Fifth Guru:
ਜਿਸੁ ਊਪਰਿ ਹੋਵਤ ਦਇਆਲੁ ॥
jis oopar hovat da-i-aal.
On whom the Guru becomes merciful,
(ਗੁਰੂ) ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਕਾਟੈ ਸੋ ਕਾਲੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
har simrat kaatai so kaal. ||1|| rahaa-o.
he cuts the noose of his own spiritual death by meditating on God. ||1||Pause||
ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਜਾਲ ਕੱਟ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਭਜੀਐ ਗੋਪਾਲੁ ॥
saaDhsang bhajee-ai gopaal.
In the company of the Guru, we should meditate on God, the Master of the universe.
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਜਗਤ-ਪਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਤ ਤੂਟੈ ਜਮ ਜਾਲੁ ॥੧॥
gun gaavat tootai jam jaal. ||1||
By singing the praises of God, the noose of the demon of death is cut away. ||1|
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਿਆਂ ਗਾਂਦਿਆਂ ਜਮ ਦਾ ਜਾਲ ਟੁੱਟ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਆਪੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਆਪੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ॥
aapay satgur aapay partipaal.
God Himself is the true Guru and He Himself is the sustainer of His creatures.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ।
ਨਾਨਕੁ ਜਾਚੈ ਸਾਧ ਰਵਾਲ ॥੨॥੬॥੨੪॥
naanak jaachai saaDh ravaal. ||2||6||24||
Nanak humbly seeks the teachings of the true Guru. ||2||6||24||

man meh sinchahu har har naam.
O’ my friend, sprinkle your mind with the ambrosial nectar of God’s Name,
ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸਿੰਜਦਾ ਰਹੁ,
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਮ ॥੧॥
an-din keertan har gun gaam. ||1||
by always singing God’s praises and His virtues. ||1||
ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇਆ ਕਰ ॥੧॥
ਐਸੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਕਰਹੁ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ॥
aisee pareet karahu man mayray.
O’ my mind, imbue yourself with such a love for God,
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਬਣਾ,
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜਾਨਹੁ ਨੇਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
aath pahar parabh jaanhu nayray. ||1|| rahaa-o.
that you deem God near you at all times.||1||Pause||
ਕਿ ਅੱਠੇ ਪਹਿਰ (ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਸਮਝੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਭਾਗ ॥
kaho naanak jaa kay nirmal bhaag.
Nanak says, one who has such immaculate destiny,
ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ- ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਭਾਗ ਹਨ
ਹਰਿ ਚਰਨੀ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਗ ॥੨॥੭॥੨੫॥
har charnee taa kaa man laag. ||2||7||25||
his mind gets attuned to God’s love. ||2||7||25||
ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਗਿੱਝ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੭॥੨੫॥

Raag Bilaaval, Fifth Guru:
ਰੋਗੁ ਗਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪਿ ਗਵਾਇਆ ॥
rog ga-i-aa parabh aap gavaa-i-aa.
The one whose afflictions are removed by God Himself, only that person is cured of these afflictions.
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਰੋਗ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਦੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਰੋਗ ਦੂਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਨੀਦ ਪਈ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਘਰੁ ਆਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
need pa-ee sukh sahj ghar aa-i-aa. ||1|| rahaa-o.
That person remains calm, and he attains the state of celestial peace and poise. ||1||Pause||
ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਆਤਮਕ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਖ ਅਤੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਰਜਿ ਰਜਿ ਭੋਜਨੁ ਖਾਵਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ ॥
raj raj bhojan kaavahu mayray bhaa-ee.
O’ my brother, partake the spiritual food of God’s Name to your heart’s content,
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੀਰ! (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਿੰਦ ਦੀ ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ ਹੈ, ਇਹ) ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ ਰੱਜ ਰੱਜ ਕੇ ਖਾਇਆ ਕਰ।
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਿਦ ਮਾਹਿ ਧਿਆਈ ॥੧॥
amrit naam rid maahi Dhi-aa-ee. ||1||
and lovingly meditate on that ambrosial Name of God in your heart. ||1||
ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਕਰ ॥੧॥
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਰਨਾਈ ॥
naanak gur pooray sarnaa-ee.
O’ Nanak, remain in the refuge of the perfect Guru,
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆ ਰਹੁ,
ਜਿਨਿ ਅਪਨੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਪੈਜ ਰਖਾਈ ॥੨॥੮॥੨੬॥
jin apnay naam kee paij rakhaa-ee. ||2||8||26||
who has always preserved the honor of God’s Name. ||2||8||26||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਸਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਸ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਲਾਜ ਪਾਲੀ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੮॥੨੬॥

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕਰਿ ਦੀਨੇ ਅਸਥਿਰ ਘਰ ਬਾਰ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
satgur kar deenay asthir ghar baar. rahaa-o.
God has stabilized the places for the true Guru’s congregations. ||Pause||
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ-ਸੰਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਜੋ ਜੋ ਨਿੰਦ ਕਰੈ ਇਨ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਨ ਕੀ ਤਿਸੁ ਆਗੈ ਹੀ ਮਾਰੈ ਕਰਤਾਰ ॥੧॥
jo jo nind karai in garihan kee tis aagai hee maarai kartaar. ||1||
Whoever slanders these places, the Creator had already spiritually destroyed him him. ||1||
ਜੇਹੜਾ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਘਰਾਂ ਦੀ (ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਦੀ) ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਸਰਨਾਈ ਜਾ ਕੋ ਸਬਦੁ ਅਖੰਡ ਅਪਾਰ ॥੨॥੯॥੨੭॥
naanak daas taa kee sarnaa-ee jaa ko sabad akhand apaar. ||2||9||27||
O’ Nanak, the devotees seek the refuge of that God whose word of command is eternal and infinite. ||2||9||27||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਦਾਸ ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਉਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਟੱਲ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੯॥੨੭॥

ਤਾਪ ਸੰਤਾਪ ਸਗਲੇ ਗਏ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਤੇ ਰੋਗ ॥
taap santaap saglay ga-ay binsay tay rog.
(O’ my dear), all your afflictions , troubles and ailments have vanished,
ਤੇਰੀਆ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਤਕਲੀਫਾਂ ਤੇ ਦਰਦਾਂ ਮਿਟ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਬੀਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ,
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਿ ਤੂ ਬਖਸਿਆ ਸੰਤਨ ਰਸ ਭੋਗ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥.
paarbarahm too bakhsi-aa santan ras bhog. rahaa-o.
the Supreme God has blessed you; so enjoy the saintly bliss. ||Pause||
ਤੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ (ਨਾਮ-ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੇ) ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣ ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਆਰੋਗ ॥
sarab sukhaa tayree mandlee tayraa man tan aarog.
Your mind and body will remain free of disease and all joys will remain your companions.
ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਬਣੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ, ਤੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਰੋਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਿਆ ਰਹੇਗਾ, ਤੇਰਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਰੋਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਿਆ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਨਿਤ ਰਾਮ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਅਵਖਦ ਜੋਗ ॥੧॥
gun gaavhu nit raam kay ih avkhad jog. ||1||
So always sing praises of God; this is the most appropriate remedy for all kinds of maladies. ||1||
ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹੁ, (ਤਾਪ ਸੰਤਾਪ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਗ ਆਦਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ) ਇਹ ਦਵਾਈ ਫਬਵੀਂ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਆਇ ਬਸਹੁ ਘਰ ਦੇਸ ਮਹਿ ਇਹ ਭਲੇ ਸੰਜੋਗ ॥
aa-ay bashu ghar days meh ih bhalay sanjog.
Only this human life offers the right opportunity to unite with God; dwell in your heart which is your real abode.
ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਹੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਘਰ ਦੇਸ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਹੁ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਭਏ ਲਹਿ ਗਏ ਬਿਓਗ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੨੮॥
naanak parabh suparsan bha-ay leh ga-ay bi-og. ||2||10||28||
O’ Nanak, one on whom God becomes pleased, his separation from Him comes to an end. ||2||10||28|
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੨੮॥

Raag Bilaaval, Fifth Guru:
ਕਾਹੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਚਾਲਹੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਜੰਜਾਲ ॥
kaahoo sang na chaalhee maa-i-aa janjaal.
The entanglements of worldly riches and power do not accompany anyone (after death).
ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਰੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੇ।
ਊਠਿ ਸਿਧਾਰੇ ਛਤ੍ਰਪਤਿ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਖਿਆਲ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ooth siDhaaray chhatarpat santan kai khi-aal. rahaa-o.
The saints believe firmly that even the kings and rulers depart from the world, leaving everything behind. ll Pause ll
ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਰਾਜੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜੇ ਭੀ (ਮੌਤ ਆਉਣ ਤੇ) ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਤੁਰ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਅਹੰਬੁਧਿ ਕਉ ਬਿਨਸਨਾ ਇਹ ਧੁਰ ਕੀ ਢਾਲ ॥
ahaN-buDh ka-o binsanaa ih Dhur kee dhaal.
This is a principle from the very beginning, that a self-conceited person certainly faces spiritual death.
ਮੈਂ ਮੈਂ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਸੂਝ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ-ਇਹ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਧੁਰ-ਦਰਗਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਚਲੀ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਬਹੁ ਜੋਨੀ ਜਨਮਹਿ ਮਰਹਿ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਬਿਕਰਾਲ ॥੧॥
baho jonee janmeh mareh bikhi-aa bikraal. ||1||
Those who remain involved in the pursuits of Maya, the worldly riches and power, keep going through cycles of birth and death in many incarnations. ||1||
ਜੋ ਮਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਲਤਾਨ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜੂਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੰਮਦੇ ਮਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
ਸਤਿ ਬਚਨ ਸਾਧੂ ਕਹਹਿ ਨਿਤ ਜਪਹਿ ਗੁਪਾਲ ॥
sat bachan saaDhoo kaheh nit jaapeh gupaal.
The saints always utter divine words of God’s praises and everyday they meditate on Naam.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸਦਾ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਪਾਲਣਹਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਰੰਗ ਲਾਲ ॥੨॥੧੧॥੨੯॥
simar simar naanak taray har kay rang laal. ||2||11||29||
O’ Nanak, imbued with the intense love of God, the saintly people swim across the world-ocean of vices by always meditating on Naam. ||2||11||29||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੂੜ੍ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗੀਜ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥੧੧॥੨੯॥

Raag Bilaaval, Fifth Guru:
ਸਹਜ ਸਮਾਧਿ ਅਨੰਦ ਸੂਖ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਨ ॥
sahj samaaDh anand sookh pooray gur deen.
The one on whom the perfect Guru becomes merciful, He blesses him with the comforts of peaceful trance, poise and bliss.
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ-ਰਸ ਟਿਕਾਉ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ ਆਨੰਦ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
ਸਦਾ ਸਹਾਈ ਸੰਗਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਗੁਣ ਚੀਨ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sadaa sahaa-ee sang parabh amrit gun cheen. rahaa-o.
God always remains his helper and companion; and that person always contemplates on God’s ambrosial virtues. ||Pause||
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਮਦਦਗਾਰ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੁਣ ਵਿਚਾਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
