ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਕਉ ਭਉ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਮੁ ਨਹੀ ਆਵੈ ਨੇਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
tayray sayvak ka-o bha-o kichh naahee jam nahee aavai nayray. ||1|| rahaa-o.
Your devotee is afraid of nothing, even the demon of death does not come near him.||1||Pause||
ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਡਰ ਪੋਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ, ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਦੂਤਉਸ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਢੁਕਦਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਜੋ ਤੇਰੈ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਕਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਖੁ ਨਾਸਾ ॥
jo tayrai rang raatay su-aamee tinH kaa janam maran dukh naasaa.
O’ my Master-God, those who are imbued with Your love, are released from the fear of pain of the cycle of birth and death.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਜੇਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੰਮਣ ਮਰਨ (ਦੇ ਗੇੜ) ਦਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਤੇਰੀ ਬਖਸ ਨ ਮੇਟੈ ਕੋਈ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਦਿਲਾਸਾ ॥੨॥
tayree bakhas na maytai ko-ee satgur kaa dilaasaa. ||2||
Because they have the assurance from the true Guru, that nobody can erase Your blessings. ||2||
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ (ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਇਹ) ਭਰੋਸਾ (ਚੇਤੇ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਹੋਈ) ਤੇਰੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਮਿਟਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੨॥
ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਨਿ ਸੁਖ ਫਲ ਪਾਇਨਿ ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਆਰਾਧਹਿ ॥
naam Dhi-aa-in sukh fal paa-in aath pahar aaraaDheh.
O’ God, Your saints lovingly remember You and enjoy the spiritual peace as a reward; yes, they keep remembering You all the time.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! (ਤੇਰੇ ਸੰਤ ਤੇਰਾ) ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅੱਠੇ ਪਹਰ ਤੇਰਾ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਤੇਰੈ ਭਰਵਾਸੈ ਪੰਚ ਦੁਸਟ ਲੈ ਸਾਧਹਿ ॥੩॥
tayree saran tayrai bharvaasai panch dusat lai saaDheh. ||3||
By coming to Your refuge and leaning on to Your support, they gain control over the five evils (lust, greed, anger, attachment, and ego).||3||
ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਕੇ, ਤੇਰੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਉਹ (ਕਾਮਾਦਿਕ) ਪੰਜੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩॥
ਗਿਆਨੁ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰਮੁ ਨ ਜਾਣਾ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣਾ ਤੇਰੀ ॥
gi-aan Dhi-aan kichh karam na jaanaa saar na jaanaa tayree.
O’ God! I know nothing about spiritual wisdom, meditation and good deeds; I know nothing about Your worth.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਂ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮ ਵੀਚਾਰ, ਸਿਮਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਨੇਕ ਅਮਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ, ਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਕਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
ਸਭ ਤੇ ਵਡਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਜਿਨਿ ਕਲ ਰਾਖੀ ਮੇਰੀ ॥੪॥੧੦॥੫੭॥
sabh tay vadaa satgur naanak jin kal raakhee mayree. ||4||10||57||
But (by Your grace I met) Nanak, the greatest true Guru, who saved my honor. ||4||10||57||
ਪਰ (ਤੇਰੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਿਲ ਪਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਲਾਜ ਰੱਖ ਲਈ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੧੦॥੫੭॥

Raag Soohee, Fifth Guru:
ਸਗਲ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਗੁਰ ਸਰਣੀ ਆਇਆ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰੇ ॥
sagal ti-aag gur sarnee aa-i-aa raakho raakhanhaaray.
O’ God, the savior, save me; renouncing everything, I have come to the Guru’s refuge.
ਹੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮਰਥ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੇਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰ। ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੇ (ਆਸਰੇ) ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਆ ਪਿਆ ਹਾਂ।
ਜਿਤੁ ਤੂ ਲਾਵਹਿ ਤਿਤੁ ਹਮ ਲਾਗਹ ਕਿਆ ਏਹਿ ਜੰਤ ਵਿਚਾਰੇ ॥੧॥
jit too laaveh tit ham laagah ki-aa ayhi jant vichaaray. ||1||
O’ God, to whatever deed You assign us, we perform that, what can these poor people do by themself? ||1||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਇਹਨਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਿਚਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਕੀਹ ਪਾਂਇਆਂ ਹੈ? ਜਿਸ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਚ ਤੂੰ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਚ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ ॥੧॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਜੀ ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥
mayray raam jee tooN parabh antarjaamee.
O’ my all pervading God, You are the omniscient Master.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਜੀ! ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਜਾਣੀਜਾਣ ਹੈਂ।
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ਦਇਆਲਾ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਾ ਨਿਤ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
kar kirpaa gurdayv da-i-aalaa gun gaavaa nit su-aamee. ||1|| rahaa-o.
O’ merciful Divine-Guru, bestow mercy so that I may always lovingly sing Your praises. ||1||Pause||
ਹੇ ਦਇਆ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ! ਹੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ, ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਪਨਾ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਭਉ ਤਰੀਐ ॥
aath pahar parabh apnaa Dhi-aa-ee-ai gur parsaad bha-o taree-ai.
O’ my friends, we should always lovingly remember our God, in this way by the Guru’s grace we swim across the terrifying world-ocean of vices.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਅੱਠੇ ਪਹਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੁ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਹੋਈਐ ਸਭ ਰੇਣਾ ਜੀਵਤਿਆ ਇਉ ਮਰੀਐ ॥੨॥
aap ti-aag ho-ee-ai sabh raynaa jeevti-aa i-o maree-ai. ||2||
By renouncing ego, we should be so humble, as if we have become the dust of the feet of all; this is how we die (detached from the world) while still alive. ||2||
ਹਉਮੈ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਪੈਂਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਬਣ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜੀਉਂਦੇ ਜੀ ਜੀਵਤ ਭਾਵ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਮਰਿਆ ਜਾਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਸਫਲ ਜਨਮੁ ਤਿਸ ਕਾ ਜਗ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਨਾਉ ਜਾਪੇ ॥
safal janam tis kaa jag bheetar saaDhsang naa-o jaapay.
One who meditates on God’s Name in the company of saints, successful becomes his life in the world.
ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਤਿਸ ਕੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਜਿਸੁ ਦਇਆ ਕਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪੇ ॥੩॥
sagal manorath tis kay pooran jis da-i-aa karay parabh aapay. ||3||
One on whom God Himself bestows mercy, all his desires are fulfilled. ||3||
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਰਾਦਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੩॥
ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥
deen da-i-aal kirpaal parabh su-aamee tayree saran da-i-aalaa.
O’ the merciful Master-God, Compassionate master of the meek, I have come to Your refuge.
ਹੇ ਦੀਨਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ! ਹੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਦਇਆ ਦੇ ਸੋਮੇ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਨ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ!
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਅਪਨਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਜੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਧ ਰਵਾਲਾ ॥੪॥੧੧॥੫੮॥
kar kirpaa apnaa naam deejai naanak saaDh ravaalaa. ||4||11||58||
O’ Nanak! say, O’ God! bestow mercy and bless me with Your Name and the humble service of the saints. ||4||11||58||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਦੇਹ ॥੪॥੧੧॥੫੮॥

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ik-oNkaar satgur parsaad.
One eternal God, realized by the grace of the True Guru:
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਭਿ ਅਵਗਣ ਮੈ ਗੁਣੁ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਈ ॥
sabh avgan mai gun nahee ko-ee.
I am totally unvirtuous; I have no virtue at all.
ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਔਗੁਣ ਹੀ ਹਨ, ਗੁਣ ਇੱਕ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਕਿਉ ਕਰਿ ਕੰਤ ਮਿਲਾਵਾ ਹੋਈ ॥੧॥
ki-o kar kant milaavaa ho-ee. ||1||
So how can I meet (realize) my Husband-God? ||1||
(ਇਸ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿਚ) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ॥੧॥
ਨਾ ਮੈ ਰੂਪੁ ਨ ਬੰਕੇ ਨੈਣਾ ॥
naa mai roop na bankay nainaa.
Neither I am beautiful, nor I have enticing eyes.
ਨਾਹ ਮੇਰੀ (ਸੋਹਣੀ) ਸ਼ਕਲ ਹੈ, ਨਾਹ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਸੋਹਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਹਨ,
ਨਾ ਕੁਲ ਢੰਗੁ ਨ ਮੀਠੇ ਬੈਣਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
naa kul dhang na meethay bainaa. ||1|| rahaa-o.
I do not have a noble family, good manners or a sweet voice. ||1||Pause||
ਨਾਹ ਹੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਕੁਲ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਚੱਜ-ਆਚਾਰ ਹੈ, ਨਾਹ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਮਿੱਠੀ ਹੈ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਸਹਜਿ ਸੀਗਾਰ ਕਾਮਣਿ ਕਰਿ ਆਵੈ ॥
sahj seegaar kaaman kar aavai.
If a soul-bride adorns herself with peace and poise;
ਜੇ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਅਡੋਲ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਹਾਰ ਸਿੰਗਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ) ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ
ਤਾ ਸੋਹਾਗਣਿ ਜਾ ਕੰਤੈ ਭਾਵੈ ॥੨॥
taa sohagan jaa kantai bhaavai. ||2||
she is a fortunate soul-bride only if she is pleasing to her Husband-God. ||2||
ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਕੰਤ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਨਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਰੂਪੁ ਨ ਰੇਖਿਆ ਕਾਈ ॥
naa tis roop na raykh-i-aa kaa-ee.
God has no (visible) form or feature,
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ (ਇਹਨੀਂ ਅੱਖੀਂ ਦਿੱਸਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਕੋਈ) ਸ਼ਕਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ
ਅੰਤਿ ਨ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਜਾਈ ॥੩॥
ant na saahib simri-aa jaa-ee. ||3||
that Master-God cannot suddenly be remembered at the very end of life. ||3||
ਅੰਤ ਸਮੇ ਉਹ ਮਾਲਕ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੩॥
ਸੁਰਤਿ ਮਤਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਚਤੁਰਾਈ ॥
surat mat naahee chaturaa-ee.
I do not have any higher understanding, wisdom and cleverness;
ਮੇਰੀ ਉੱਚੀ) ਸੁਰਤ ਨਹੀਂ, (ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ) ਅਕਲ ਨਹੀਂ (ਕੋਈ) ਸਿਆਣਪ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਲਾਵਹੁ ਪਾਈ ॥੪॥
kar kirpaa parabh laavhu paa-ee. ||4||
O’ God! bestow mercy and attach me to Your immaculate Name. ||4||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਲਾ ਲੈ ॥੪॥
ਖਰੀ ਸਿਆਣੀ ਕੰਤ ਨ ਭਾਣੀ ॥
kharee si-aanee kant na bhaanee.
A soul-bride, very wise in worldly affairs, may not be pleasing to the Husband-God,
ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਕਾਰ-ਵਿਹਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਵੇਂ) ਬਹੁਤ ਸਿਆਣੀ (ਭੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਪਰ) ਉਹ ਕੰਤ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦੀ,
ਮਾਇਆ ਲਾਗੀ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਣੀ ॥੫॥
maa-i-aa laagee bharam bhulaanee. ||5||
if engrossed in the love for Maya, she remains deluded by doubt. ||5||
ਜੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਫਸੀ ਹੋਈਉਹ, ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਈ ਰਹੇ ॥੫॥
ਹਉਮੈ ਜਾਈ ਤਾ ਕੰਤ ਸਮਾਈ ॥
ha-umai jaa-ee taa kant samaa-ee.
When ego goes away, then she merges in her Husband-God.
ਜਦੋਂ ਹਉਮੈ ਦੂਰ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਕੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਤਉ ਕਾਮਣਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਨਵ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਈ ॥੬॥
ta-o kaaman pi-aaray nav niDh paa-ee. ||6||
Yes, only then the soul-bride can unite with her beloved God, the Master of all the treasures of the world. ||6||
ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ, ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀਨੌ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂਨੂੰ-ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੬॥
ਅਨਿਕ ਜਨਮ ਬਿਛੁਰਤ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
anik janam bichhurat dukh paa-i-aa.
Separated from You, I have suffered for many births,
ਤੈਥੋਂ ਵਿਛੁੜ ਕੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜੂਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਭਟਕ ਭਟਕ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਦੁੱਖ ਸਹਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ,
ਕਰੁ ਗਹਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਰਾਇਆ ॥੭॥
kar geh layho pareetam parabh raa-i-aa. ||7||
O’ my beloved God, the sovereign King, please now hold my hand and reunite me with You. ||7||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਰਾਇ! ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ! ਹੁਣ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੱਥ ਫੜ ਲੈ ॥੭॥
ਭਣਤਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਹੁ ਹੈ ਭੀ ਹੋਸੀ ॥
bhanat naanak saho hai bhee hosee.
Nanak prays, our Husband-God is present now and He would always be there.
ਨਾਨਕ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਸਚ-ਮੁਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ) ਹੈ, ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
ਜੈ ਭਾਵੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਤੈ ਰਾਵੇਸੀ ॥੮॥੧॥
jai bhaavai pi-aaraa tai raavaysee. ||8||1||
The beloved Husband-God unites with Him only that soul-bride who is pleasing to Him. ||8||1||
ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਸ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੇਹੜੀਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੮॥੧॥
