ਨਾਨਕ ਆਪੇ ਵੇਖੈ ਆਪੇ ਸਚਿ ਲਾਏ ॥੪॥੭॥
naanak aapay vaykhai aapay sach laa-ay. ||4||7||
O’ Nanak, God Himself cherishes all and Himself unites all human beings to His eternal Name. ||4||7||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਸਭ ਦੀ) ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਆਪਣੇ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੭॥

Raag Dhanasri, Third Guru:
ਨਾਵੈ ਕੀ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਕਹੀ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥
naavai kee keemat mit kahee na jaa-ay.
The value and worth of God’s Name cannot be described.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਕਿ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਕਿਸ ਮੁੱਲ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਨਾਮ ਕਿਤਨੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
ਸੇ ਜਨ ਧੰਨੁ ਜਿਨ ਇਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥
say jan Dhan jin ik naam liv laa-ay.
Blessed are those devotees who have lovingly attuned their minds to Naam.
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਜੋੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ।
ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਾਚੀ ਸਾਚਾ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ॥
gurmat saachee saachaa veechaar.
One who follows the Guru’s eternal teachings, reflects on the virtues of the eternal God.
ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਅਟੱਲ ਮਤਿ ਗ੍ਰਹਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਸਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸੇ ਦੇ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ॥੧॥
aapay bakhsay day veechaar. ||1||
God blesses such thoughts to a person on whom He bestows grace.||1||
ਇਹ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਉਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਚਰਜੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪਿ ਸੁਣਾਏ ॥
har naam achraj parabh aap sunaa-ay.
God’s Name is wonderful! God Himself recites it to a person.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। (ਪਰ ਇਹ ਨਾਮ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਕਿਸੇ ਵਡ-ਭਾਗੀ ਨੂੰ) ਸੁਣਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਲੀ ਕਾਲ ਵਿਚਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਾਏ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
kalee kaal vich gurmukh paa-ay. ||1|| rahaa-o.
In Kalyug, the age of strife, only a Guru’s follower realizes Naam.||1||pause||
ਇਸ ਝਗੜਿਆਂ-ਭਰੇ ਜੀਵਨ-ਸਮੇ ਵਿਚ ਉਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਹਮ ਮੂਰਖ ਮੂਰਖ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
ham moorakh moorakh man maahi.
If we reflect in our mind, we find that we are foolish overall,
ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਗਹੁ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਚਾਰੀਏ ਤਾਂਅਸੀਂ ਨਿਰੋਲ ਮੂਰਖ ਹਾਂ,
ਹਉਮੈ ਵਿਚਿ ਸਭ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਹਿ ॥
ha-umai vich sabh kaar kamaahi.
because we do all our deeds in ego.
ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਜੀਵ ਆਪਣਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਕੰਮ ਹਉਮੈ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਹੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ,
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਹੰਉਮੈ ਜਾਇ ॥
gur parsaadee haN-umai jaa-ay.
When egotism is eradicated by the Guru’s Grace,
ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਜਦ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸੇ ਲਏ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥੨॥
aapay bakhsay la-ay milaa-ay. ||2||
then God Himself forgives and unites us with Him.||2||
ਤਦ ਮਾਫੀ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਭੇਦ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ॥੨॥
ਬਿਖਿਆ ਕਾ ਧਨੁ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ॥
bikhi-aa kaa Dhan bahut abhimaan.
The worldly wealth gives rise to lot of ego,
ਦੁਨਿਆਵੀ ਧਨ, ਬਹੁਤ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਅਹੰਕਾਰਿ ਡੂਬੈ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ਮਾਨੁ ॥
ahaNkaar doobai na paavai maan.
and one who remains engrossed in egotism, is not honored in God’s presence.
ਤੇ, ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਡੁੱਬਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਆਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਂਦਾ।
ਆਪੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਈ ॥
aap chhod sadaa sukh ho-ee.
Forsaking self-conceit, one dwells in lasting celestial peace.
ਆਪਾ-ਭਾਵ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਾਲਾਹੀ ਸਚੁ ਸੋਈ ॥੩॥
gurmat saalaahee sach so-ee. ||3||
and by following the Guru’s teachings he keeps praising that eternal God. ||3||
ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮਤਿ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖਉਸ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।॥੩॥
ਆਪੇ ਸਾਜੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਸੋਇ ॥
aapay saajay kartaa so-ay.
That Creator-God Himself creates the universe,
ਉਹ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਸਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨੂੰ) ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥
tis bin doojaa avar na ko-ay.
Without Him, there is none other at all.
ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ (ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਾਲਾ) ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
ਜਿਸੁ ਸਚਿ ਲਾਏ ਸੋਈ ਲਾਗੈ ॥
jis sach laa-ay so-ee laagai.
He alone is attuned to Naam, whom He Himself so attunes.
ਉਹ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਨਾਮ-ਸਿਮਰਨ ਵਿਚ) ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਆਗੈ ॥੪॥੮॥
naanak naam sadaa sukh aagai. ||4||8||
O’ Nanak, through Naam, lasting peace is attained in the world hereafter. ||4||8||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਨਾਮ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਅੱਗੇ, ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੮॥

One eternal God, realized by the grace of the true Guru:
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਹਮ ਭੀਖਕ ਭੇਖਾਰੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੂ ਨਿਜ ਪਤਿ ਹੈ ਦਾਤਾ ॥
ham bheekhak bhaykhaaree tayray too nij pat hai daataa.
O’ God, we are Your beggars; You are Your own master and great benefactor.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਅਸੀਂ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰੇ (ਦਰ ਦੇ) ਮੰਗਤੇ ਹਾਂ, ਤੂੰ ਸੁਤੰਤਰ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।
ਹੋਹੁ ਦੈਆਲ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇਹੁ ਮੰਗਤ ਜਨ ਕੰਉ ਸਦਾ ਰਹਉ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤਾ ॥੧॥
hohu dai-aal naam dayh mangat jan kaN-u sadaa raha-o rang raataa. ||1||
O’ God, be merciful and bless me, a humble beggar with Naam so that I may forever remain imbued with Your love. ||1||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੋ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੰਗਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਦੇਹ (ਤਾ ਕਿ) ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗਿਆ ਰਹਾਂ ॥੧॥
ਹੰਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੈ ਜਾਉ ਸਾਚੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਟਹੁ ॥
haN-u balihaarai jaa-o saachay tayray naam vitahu.
O’ God, I dedicate myself to Your eternal Name.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਭਨਾ ਕਾ ਏਕੋ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੋਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
karan kaaran sabhnaa kaa ayko avar na doojaa ko-ee. ||1|| rahaa-o.
You alone are the Cause of causes; there is no other at all like You. ||1||Pause||
ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਇੱਕ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ (ਤੇਰੇ ਵਰਗਾ) ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਬਹੁਤੇ ਫੇਰ ਪਏ ਕਿਰਪਨ ਕਉ ਅਬ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕੀਜੈ ॥
bahutay fayr pa-ay kirpan ka-o ab kichh kirpaa keejai.
O’ God, this miser has wandered through many rounds of birth and death; now, please bless me with Your Grace.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੰਜੂਸ ਨੂੰਹੁਣ ਤਕ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਗੇੜ ਪੈ ਚੁਕੇ ਹਨ, ਹੁਣ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ।
ਹੋਹੁ ਦਇਆਲ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੇਹੁ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਐਸੀ ਬਖਸ ਕਰੀਜੈ ॥੨॥
hohu da-i-aal darsan dayh apunaa aisee bakhas kareejai. ||2||
O’ God, be merciful and grant me Your blessed Vision of Your Darshan (view); please grant me such a gift. ||2||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੋ। ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰ ਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ॥੨॥
ਭਨਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਭਰਮ ਪਟ ਖੂਲ੍ਹ੍ਹੇ ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਜਾਨਿਆ ॥
bhanat naanak bharam pat khoolHay gur parsaadee jaani-aa.
Nanak says, I am now so enlightened as if the shutters of my doubt have been opened, and through the Guru’s grace I have realized God.
ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ! ਭਰਮ ਦੇ ਕਵਾੜ ਖੁਲ੍ਹ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਈਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਸਾਚੀ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ ਹੈ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਿਉ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ॥੩॥੧॥੯॥
saachee liv laagee hai bheetar satgur si-o man maani-aa. ||3||1||9||
My heart is attuned to God forever and my mind has developed faith in the true Guru.||3||1||9||
ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਲਗਨ ਲੱਗ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਤੀਜ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ॥੩॥੧॥੯॥

Oneeternal God, realized by the grace of the true Guru:
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਹਿ ਸੰਤ ਭਗਤ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਸਭਿ ਪਾਪ ਨਿਵਾਰੀ ॥
jo har sayveh sant bhagat tin kay sabh paap nivaaree.
O’ God, the saints and devotees who meditate on Your Name, You wash off all their previous sins.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੇ ਜੇਹੜੇ ਸੰਤ ਜੇਹੜੇ ਭਗਤ ਤੇਰਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ (ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ) ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।
ਹਮ ਊਪਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਰਖੁ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਤੁਮ ਜੁ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥੧॥
ham oopar kirpaa kar su-aamee rakh sangat tum jo pi-aaree. ||1||
O’ Master-God, show mercy and keep us in that saintly congregation, which is dear to You.||1||
ਹੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ, (ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ) ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਖ ਜੇਹੜੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਕਹਿ ਨ ਸਕਉ ਬਨਵਾਰੀ ॥
har gun kahi na saka-o banvaaree.
O’ God, I cannot describe Your virtues.
ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਹਮ ਪਾਪੀ ਪਾਥਰ ਨੀਰਿ ਡੁਬਤ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪਾਖਣ ਹਮ ਤਾਰੀ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ham paapee paathar neer dubat kar kirpaa paakhan ham taaree. rahaa-o.
We sinners, are sinking in the worldly ocean of vices like stones in water; grant Your grace and ferry usacross this ocean. ||Pause||
ਅਸੀਂ ਪਾਪੀ ਪੱਥਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਆਈਂ,ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੁੱਬ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।। ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪੱਥਰ-ਦਿਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਲੈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਲਾਗੇ ਬਿਖੁ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਲਗਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਸਾਧ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥
janam janam kay laagay bikh morchaa lag sangat saaDh savaaree.
A soul is purified of the poison and rust of sins collected by it birth after birth by joining the holy congregation,
ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜਨਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਚੰਬੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਹਰ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੰਗਾਲ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਇਵੇਂ ਸੋਧਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਜਿਉ ਕੰਚਨੁ ਬੈਸੰਤਰਿ ਤਾਇਓ ਮਲੁ ਕਾਟੀ ਕਟਿਤ ਉਤਾਰੀ ॥੨॥
ji-o kanchan baisantar taa-i-o mal kaatee katit utaaree. ||2||
just as impurities from gold are removed by heating it in the fire. ||2||
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸੋਨਾ ਅੱਗ ਵਿਚ ਤਪਾਇਆਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਮੈਲ ਕੱਟੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਨੁ ਜਪਉ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰੀ ॥
har har japan japa-o din raatee jap har har har ur Dhaaree.
Day and night I meditate on God’s Name again and again and by repeating His Name I enshrine Him in my heart.
ਮੈਂਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਜਾਪ ਜਪਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਾਈ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਅਉਖਧੁ ਜਗਿ ਪੂਰਾ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਾਰੀ ॥੩॥
har har har a-ukhaDh jag pooraa jap har har ha-umai maaree. ||3||
God’s Name is the perfect cure for vices in this world; by uttering God’s Name I have eradicated my ego.||3||
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉਤਮ ਦਵਾ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟੀ ਹੈ। ॥੩॥
