ਆਪੇ ਕਾਸਟ ਆਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਵਿਚਿ ਕਾਸਟ ਅਗਨਿ ਰਖਾਇਆ ॥
aapay kaasat aap har pi-aaraa vich kaasat agan rakhaa-i-aa.
God Himself is the creator of firewood and He has locked the fire within it.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਲੱਕੜੀ (ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ) ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਲੱਕੜੀ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਅੱਗ ਟਿਕਾ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਆਪਿ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਭੈ ਅਗਨਿ ਨ ਸਕੈ ਜਲਾਇਆ ॥
aapay hee aap varatdaa pi-aaraa bhai agan na sakai jalaa-i-aa.
Dear God Himself, all by Himself is pervading everywhere; because of His command, the fire within the wood cannot burn it.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਰਤਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ) ਅੱਗ ਲੱਕੜ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀ।
ਆਪੇ ਮਾਰਿ ਜੀਵਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਸਾਹ ਲੈਦੇ ਸਭਿ ਲਵਾਇਆ ॥੩॥
aapay maar jeevaa-idaa pi-aaraa saah laiday sabh lavaa-i-aa. ||3||
God Himself kills and revives; all draw the breath of life, given by Him. ||3||
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਜੀਵਾਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੀ ਸਾਹ ਲੈ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੩॥
ਆਪੇ ਤਾਣੁ ਦੀਬਾਣੁ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਕਾਰੈ ਲਾਇਆ ॥
aapay taan deebaan hai pi-aaraa aapay kaarai laa-i-aa.
God Himself is the power and the ruler; He Himself engages all to their tasks.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਵਰਤਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਾਕਮ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਲਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਜਿਉ ਆਪਿ ਚਲਾਏ ਤਿਉ ਚਲੀਐ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਜਿਉ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਇਆ ॥
ji-o aap chalaa-ay ti-o chalee-ai pi-aaray ji-o har parabh mayray bhaa-i-aa.
O’ my dear friends, we should conduct our life as it pleases my God.
ਹੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸੱਜਣ! ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਰੀ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਚੱਲ ਸਕੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਜੰਤੀ ਜੰਤੁ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਵਜਹਿ ਵਜਾਇਆ ॥੪॥੪॥
aapay jantee jant hai pi-aaraa jan naanak vajeh vajaa-i-aa. ||4||4||
O’ Nanak, God Himself is the musician and all the creatures are His musical instruments; all these instruments are playing as He plays them. ||4||4||
ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜੀਵ-ਵਾਜਾ ਬਣਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਵਾਜਾ ਵਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਜੀਵ-ਵਾਜੇ ਉਸੇ ਦੇ ਵਜਾਏ ਵੱਜ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੪॥੪॥

ਆਪੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਉਪਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਕਰਿ ਸੂਰਜੁ ਚੰਦੁ ਚਾਨਾਣੁ ॥
aapay sarisat upaa-idaa pi-aaraa kar sooraj chand chaanaan.
Dear God Himself creates the Universe and creates the sun and the moon to illuminate it.
ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ (ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨੂੰ) ਸੂਰਜ ਚੰਦ ਚਾਨਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪਿ ਨਿਤਾਣਿਆ ਤਾਣੁ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪਿ ਨਿਮਾਣਿਆ ਮਾਣੁ ॥
aap nitaani-aa taan hai pi-aaraa aap nimaani-aa maan.
God Himself is the support of the supportless people and honor of those who are without any honor.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਨਿਆਸਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਆਦਰ-ਮਾਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਦਰ-ਮਾਣ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪਿ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਿ ਰਖਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਸੁਘੜੁ ਸੁਜਾਣੁ ॥੧॥
aap da-i-aa kar rakh-daa pi-aaraa aapay sugharh sujaan. ||1||
God Himself is the wisest of the wise and all-knowing; bestowing mercy He protects all. ||1||
ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ, ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪ ਸਭ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਜਪਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਨੀਸਾਣੁ ॥
mayray man jap raam naam neesaan.
O’ my mind, meditate on God’s Name, which is the mark of approval in God’s presence.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਕਰ, ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਗੀ ਦਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ. ਹੈ।
ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਧਿਆਇ ਤੂ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਨ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣੁ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
satsangat mil Dhi-aa-ay too har har bahurh na aavan jaan. rahaa-o.
Joining the holy congregation, you should remember God with loving devotion, it would free you from the cycle of birth and death. ||Pause||
ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਿਆ ਕਰ, (ਧਿਆਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਮੁੜ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦਾ ਗੇੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਗੁਣ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ॥
aapay hee gun varatdaa pi-aaraa aapay hee parvaan.
On His own God distributes virtues among people and then accepts them in His presence.
ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਾਤਿ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸ ਕਰਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਸਚੁ ਨੀਸਾਣੁ ॥
aapay bakhas karaa-idaa pi-aaraa aapay sach neesaan.
God Himself grants His grace on all and He Himself is the Insignia of Truth.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਉਤੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਚਾਨਣ-ਮੁਨਾਰਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਹੁਕਮਿ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਫੁਰਮਾਣੁ ॥੨॥
aapay hukam varatdaa pi-aaraa aapay hee furmaan. ||2||
Dear God Himself makes the creatures obey His command and Himself issues the command. ||2||
ਉਹ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਤੋਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਹੁਕਮ ਚਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਆਪੇ ਭਗਤਿ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਦੇਵੈ ਦਾਣੁ ॥
aapay bhagat bhandaar hai pi-aaraa aapay dayvai daan.
God Himself is the treasure of devotional worship and He Himself gives this gift.
ਉਹ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੀ ਦਾਤਿ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਸੇਵ ਕਰਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪਿ ਦਿਵਾਵੈ ਮਾਣੁ ॥
aapay sayv karaa-idaa pi-aaraa aap divaavai maan.
God Himself engages people to His devotional worship and He Himself begets honor for them.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਸੇਵਾ-ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸੇਵਾ-ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਤ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਦਿਵਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਤਾੜੀ ਲਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਗੁਣੀ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥੩॥
aapay taarhee laa-idaa pi-aaraa aapay gunee niDhaan. ||3||
God Himself is the treasure of virtues; He Himself assumes deep trance. ||3||
ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਮਾਧੀ ਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
ਆਪੇ ਵਡਾ ਆਪਿ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਪਰਧਾਣੁ ॥
aapay vadaa aap hai pi-aaraa aapay hee parDhaan.
The beloved Himself is the greatest of the great; He Himself is supreme.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਮੰਨਿਆ-ਪ੍ਰਮੰਨਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਪਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਤੁਲੁ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ॥
aapay keemat paa-idaa pi-aaraa aapay tul parvaan.
He Himself estimates the worth of people by using His own criteria.
ਉਹ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਆਪਣਾ) ਤੋਲ ਤੇ ਪੈਮਾਨਾ ਵਰਤ ਕੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਲ ਪਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਅਤੁਲੁ ਤੁਲਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਕੁਰਬਾਣੁ ॥੪॥੫॥
aapay atul tulaa-idaa pi-aaraa jan naanak sad kurbaan. ||4||5||
God Himself estimates His inestimable creation; devotee Nanak is always dedicated to Him. ||4||5||
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਅਤੁੱਲ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੫॥

God Himself engages people to His devotional worship; He Himself inspires them for it.
ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੇਵਾ-ਭਗਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਮਾਹਾ ॥
aapay gun gaavaa-idaa pi-aaraa aapay sabad samaahaa.
Dear God Himself causes people to sing His praises and on His own He attunes them to the Guru’s word.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਲੇਖਣਿ ਆਪਿ ਲਿਖਾਰੀ ਆਪੇ ਲੇਖੁ ਲਿਖਾਹਾ ॥੧॥
aapay laykhan aap likhaaree aapay laykh likhaahaa. ||1||
He Himself is the pen, and He Himself is the scribe; He Himself inscribes the destiny. ||1||
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕਲਮ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕਲਮ ਚਲਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਗਤੀ ਦਾ) ਲੇਖ ਲਿਖਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਜਪਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਓਮਾਹਾ ॥
mayray man jap raam naam omaahaa.
O’ my mind, meditate on God’s Name with a great zeal.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ l
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਅਨਦੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਲੈ ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਹਾ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
an-din anad hovai vadbhaagee lai gur poorai har laahaa. rahaa-o.
Through the perfect Guru earn the reward of remembering God; the fortunate one who does it, always remains in bliss. ||Pause||
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਖੱਟ ਲੈ। ਜੇਹੜਾ ਵਡ-ਭਾਗੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਜਪਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਸੁਖ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਆਪੇ ਗੋਪੀ ਕਾਨੁ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਬਨਿ ਆਪੇ ਗਊ ਚਰਾਹਾ ॥
aapay gopee kaan hai pi-aaraa ban aapay ga-oo charaahaa.
God Himself is the milkmaids and god Krishna; He Himself herds the cows in the woods.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜੰਗਲ ਵਿਚ ਗਾਈਆਂ ਚਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਸਾਵਲ ਸੁੰਦਰਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਆਪੇ ਵੰਸੁ ਵਜਾਹਾ ॥
aapay saaval sundraa pi-aaraa aapay vans vajaahaa.
God Himself is the dark-skinned, handsome one and He Himself plays the flute.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਾਂਵਲੇ ਰੰਗ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਬੰਸਰੀ ਵਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
ਕੁਵਲੀਆ ਪੀੜੁ ਆਪਿ ਮਰਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਕਰਿ ਬਾਲਕ ਰੂਪਿ ਪਚਾਹਾ ॥੨॥
kuvlee-aa peerh aap maraa-idaa pi-aaraa kar baalak roop pachaahaa. ||2||
Assuming the role of child Krishna, God Himself is the destroyer of the elephant Kuwalia Peerh, ||2||
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਬਾਲਕ-ਰੂਪ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ-ਰੂਪ) ਵਿਚ (ਕੰਸ ਦੇ ਭੇਜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਾਥੀ) ਕੁਵਲੀਆਪੀੜ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਆਪਿ ਅਖਾੜਾ ਪਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਕਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਆਪਿ ਚੋਜਾਹਾ ॥
aap akhaarhaa paa-idaa pi-aaraa kar vaykhai aap chojaahaa.
God Himself sets the stage, performs the plays, and He Himself watches them.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਇਹ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ) ਅਖਾੜਾ ਬਣਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, (ਇਸ ਜਗਤ-ਅਖਾੜੇ ਵਿਚ) ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕੌਤਕ-ਤਮਾਸ਼ੇ ਰਚ ਕੇ ਵੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਰਿ ਬਾਲਕ ਰੂਪ ਉਪਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਚੰਡੂਰੁ ਕੰਸੁ ਕੇਸੁ ਮਾਰਾਹਾ ॥
kar baalak roop upaa-idaa pi-aaraa chandoor kans kays maaraahaa.
God Himself assumed the form of the child-Krishana and through him killed the demons Chandoor, Kansa and Kaysee.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਬਾਲਕ-ਰੂਪ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਚੰਡੂਰ, ਕੇਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਵਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਬਲੁ ਆਪਿ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਬਲੁ ਭੰਨੈ ਮੂਰਖ ਮੁਗਧਾਹਾ ॥੩॥
aapay hee bal aap hai pi-aaraa bal bhannai moorakh mugDhaahaa. ||3||
God Himself has the power, and He Himself destroys the power of fools. ||3||
ਆਪ ਹੀ ਤਾਕਤ (ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ) ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਮੂਰਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਭੰਨ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
ਸਭੁ ਆਪੇ ਜਗਤੁ ਉਪਾਇਦਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਵਸਿ ਆਪੇ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਹਥਾਹਾ ॥
sabh aapay jagat upaa-idaa pi-aaraa vas aapay jugat hathaahaa.
Dear God Himself creates the entire world, and keeps it under His control,
ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ,
