ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਮਿਲਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿਦਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਜਣੁ ਸੈਣੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
sant janaa mil paa-i-aa mayray govidaa mayraa har parabh sajan sainee jee-o.
O’ my loving God, by meeting Your devotees, I have realized You, my companion and best friend.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ, ਸਾਧ ਰੂਪ ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ, ਮੈਂ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਤੇ ਸਾਥੀ, ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਹਰਿ ਆਇ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਜਗਜੀਵਨੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਮੈ ਸੁਖਿ ਵਿਹਾਣੀ ਰੈਣੀ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥
har aa-ay mili-aa jagjeevan mayray govindaa mai sukh vihaanee rainee jee-o. |2|
O’ my Master, since the moment I have realized You, the life of the universe, the night of my life is passing in peace.||2||
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ! ਮੈਨੂੰ (ਭੀ) ਉਹ ਹਰੀ ਆ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ, ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੀ (ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ-ਰੂਪ) ਰਾਤ ਆਨੰਦ ਵਿਚ ਬੀਤ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ l
ਮੈ ਮੇਲਹੁ ਸੰਤ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਜਣੁ ਮੈ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਭੁਖ ਲਗਾਈਆ ਜੀਉ ॥
mai maylhu sant mayraa har parabh sajan mai man tan bhukh lagaa-ee-aa jee-o.
O’ devotees of God, please unite me with my friend God, my mind and body are yearning for Him.
ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੱਜਣ ਹਰਿ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲਾ ਦਿਉ। ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਉਸਦੇ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਹਉ ਰਹਿ ਨ ਸਕਉ ਬਿਨੁ ਦੇਖੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਮੈ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਬਿਰਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਈਆ ਜੀਉ ॥
ha-o reh na saka-o bin daykhay mayray preetam mai antar birahu har laa-ee-aa jee-o.
I cannot spiritually survive without beholding my beloved God, I am suffering the pangs of His separation in my heart.
ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਧੀਰਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਫੜ ਸਕਦਾ, ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਦਾ ਦਰਦ ਉੱਠ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇਆ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਜਣੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਲੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਜੀਵਾਈਆ ਜੀਉ ॥
har raa-i-aa mayraa sajan pi-aaraa gur maylay mayraa man jeevaa-ee-aa jee-o.
God, the king, is my beloved and best friend. The Guru has united me with Him, and my soul has been rejuvenated.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਸੱਜਣ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਦਿਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਆਸਾ ਪੂਰੀਆ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਮਨਿ ਵਾਧਾਈਆ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
mayrai man tan aasaa pooree-aa mayray govindaa har mili-aa man vaaDhaa-ee-aa jee-o. ||3||
O’ my God, now when You have met me, all the desires of my heart have been fulfilled, and my mind now sings songs of joy.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ! ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਹਰੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ (ਚਿਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਟਿਕੀ) ਆਸ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ i
ਵਾਰੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਵਾਰੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ਹਉ ਤੁਧੁ ਵਿਟੜਿਅਹੁ ਸਦ ਵਾਰੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
vaaree mayray govindaa vaaree mayray pi-aari-aa ha-o tuDh vitrhi-ahu sad vaaree jee-o.
O’ my loving God, I am dedicated to You, yes I am forever dedicated to You.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ! ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ! ਮੈਂ ਸਦਕੇ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਕੇ।
ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੁ ਪਿਰੰਮ ਕਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਪੂੰਜੀ ਰਾਖੁ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
mayrai man tan paraym piramm kaa mayray govidaa har poonjee raakh hamaaree jee-o.
O’ my Master, my mind and body are filled with Your love, please preserve this wealth of my love.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ! ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਤੈਂ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਜਾਗ ਉਠਿਆ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੀ ਇਸ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ) ਰਾਸ ਦੀ ਤੂੰ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰ।
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਵਿਸਟੁ ਮੇਲਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਲੇ ਕਰਿ ਰੈਬਾਰੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
satgur visat mayl mayray govindaa har maylay kar raibaaree jee-o.
O’ my Master of the Universe, please Unite me with the true Guru, who shall unite me with You through his guidance.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਚੋਲਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲਾ, ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮੇਰੀ (ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਚ) ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੈਂ ਹਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਦੇਵੇ।
ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਰਣਿ ਤੁਮਾਰੀ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੩॥੨੯॥੬੭॥
har naam da-i-aa kar paa-i-aa mayray govindaa jan nanak saran tumaaree jee-o. ||4||3||29||67||
O’ God, it is through Your grace that I have realized You. Therefore, Your humble devotee Nanak has come to Your refuge. (4-3-29-67)

ਚੋਜੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਚੋਜੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਚੋਜੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
chojee mayray govindaa chojee mayray pi-aari-aa har parabh mayraa chojee jee-o.
O’ my wonderful God of the universe, astonishing are Your wondrous plays. Yes, my dear God is the master of creating wonders.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ! ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ! ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਚੋਜ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰਿ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੈਂ।
ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ੍ਹੁ ਉਪਾਇਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਗੋਪੀ ਖੋਜੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
har aapay kaanH upaa-idaa mayray govidaa har aapay gopee khojee jee-o.
God Himself created god Krishna and He Himself is the milkmaid who seeks him.
ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ) ਲੱਭਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗਵਾਲਣ ਹੈ
ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਸਭ ਘਟ ਭੋਗਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਆਪੇ ਰਸੀਆ ਭੋਗੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
har aapay sabh ghat bhogdaa mayray govindaa aapay rasee-aa bhogee jee-o.
By pervading in every heart, my God Himself is the ravisher and the enjoyer.
ਸਭ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਾਇਕ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਸ ਮਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਹਰਿ ਸੁਜਾਣੁ ਨ ਭੁਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਆਪੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਜੋਗੀ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
har sujaan na bhul-ee mayray govindaa aapay satgur jogee jee-o. ||1||
God is wise and infallible, He Himself is the true Guru and Yogi. ll1ll
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਚੂਕ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੱਚਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈl
ਆਪੇ ਜਗਤੁ ਉਪਾਇਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਖੇਲੈ ਬਹੁ ਰੰਗੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
aapay jagat upaa-idaa mayray govidaa har aap khaylai baho rangee jee-o.
t is God who Himself creates the world, and He Himself plays in so many ways.
ਹਰਿ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਗਤ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ (ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਖੇਲ) ਖੇਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਕਨਾ ਭੋਗ ਭੋਗਾਇਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਇਕਿ ਨਗਨ ਫਿਰਹਿ ਨੰਗ ਨੰਗੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
iknaa bhog bhogaa-idaa mayray govindaa ik nagan fireh nang nangee jee-o.
Some, He makes so rich that they enjoy all kinds of pleasures, while others wander around naked, the poorest of the poor.
ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਮਾਇਕ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਭੋਗ ਭੋਗਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਜਵੇਂ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ) ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜੀਵ ਐਸੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਨੰਗੇ ਪਏ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਨ ਉਤੇ ਕੱਪੜਾ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ)।
ਆਪੇ ਜਗਤੁ ਉਪਾਇਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਦਾਨੁ ਦੇਵੈ ਸਭ ਮੰਗੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
aapay jagat upaa-idaa mayray govidaa har daan dayvai sabh mangee jee-o.
My God Himself creates the universe, all beg from Him, and He is the only one who gives gifts to all.
ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੀ ਲੁਕਾਈ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਮੰਗਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਭਗਤਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਆਧਾਰੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਮੰਗਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਚੰਗੀ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥
bhagtaa naam aaDhaar hai mayray govindaa har kathaa mangeh har changee jee-o. ||2||
My Master of the universe is the only support of His devotees. From God they beg only for His sublime praises. ||2||
ਉਸ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਹਰੀ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਹੀ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਨ
ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਾਇਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਾ ਲੋਚ ਮਨਿ ਪੂਰੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
har aapay bhagat karaa-idaa mayray govindaa har bhagtaa loch man pooree jee-o.
My God Himself inspires His devotees to worship Him, and He Himself fulfills their desires.
ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਆਪਣੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ) ਆਪਣੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿਦਾ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਨਹੀ ਦੂਰੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
aapay jal thal varatdaa mayray govidaa rav rahi-aa nahee dooree jee-o.
My God of the universe Himself is permeating the waters and the lands. He is All-pervading, He is not far away from anyone.
ਜਲ ਵਿਚ, ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ, ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ ਕਿਸੇ ਜੀਵ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਹਰੀ ਦੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
ਹਰਿ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
har antar baahar aap hai mayray govidaa har aap rahi-aa bharpooree jee-o.
God Himself is within the beings and outside as well, He Himself is fully permeating everywhere.
ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੈ।
ਹਰਿ ਆਤਮ ਰਾਮੁ ਪਸਾਰਿਆ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਆਪਿ ਹਦੂਰੀ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
har aatam raam pasari-a mayray govinda har vaykhai aap hadooree jee-o. ||3||
The all-pervading God has spread this entire world play, He is close to all and He Himself takes care everybody.
ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਰਾਮ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਜਗਤ-ਖਿਲਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਖਿਲਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰੇਕ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ l
ਹਰਿ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਵਾਜਾ ਪਉਣੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਵਜਾਏ ਤਿਉ ਵਾਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥
har antar vaajaa pa-un hai mayray govindaa har aap vajaa-ay ti-o vaajai jee-o.
God Himself has provided in all beings the breathing power like a musical instrument and these vibrate (breath) as God Himself desires.
ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ-ਰੂਪ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵਾਜਾ ਵੱਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ-ਵਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਵਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਿਵੇਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ-ਵਾਜਾ ਵੱਜਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਹਰਿ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਗਾਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥
har antar naam niDhaan hai mayray govindaa gur sabdee har parabh gaajai jee-o.
Within all beings the treasure of God’s Name is present, but it is only through the Guru’s word, it becomes manifest.
ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੀ ਹਰਿ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਜੀਵ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਪਰਗਟ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਆਪੇ ਸਰਣਿ ਪਵਾਇਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤ ਜਨਾ ਰਾਖੁ ਲਾਜੈ ਜੀਉ ॥
aapay saran pavaa-idaa mayray govindaa har bhagat janaa raakh laajai jee-o.
God Himself makes the devotees seek His refuge, and then He Himself saves their honor.
