ਤੇਰੇ ਜਨ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ ਇਕ ਮਨਿ ਇਕ ਚਿਤਿ ਤੇ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥
tayray jan Dhi-aavahi ik man ik chit tay saaDhoo sukh paavahi jap har har naam niDhaan.
O’ God, Your devotees who focus on You with single-minded concentration, these saints attain inner peace by remembering You, the treasure of Naam.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਇਕ-ਮਨ ਇਕ-ਚਿੱਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੇਰੀਆ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾ ਗੁਰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਭਗਵਾਨ ॥੧॥
ustat karahi parabh tayree-aa mil saaDhoo saaDh janaa gur satguroo bhagvaan. ||1||
O’ God, by meeting and following the teachings of the true Guru, these saintly devotees keep singing Your praises. ||1||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ! ਤੇਰੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
ਜਿਨ ਕੈ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਤੂ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤੇ ਸੁਖ ਫਲ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਤੇ ਤਰੇ ਭਵ ਸਿੰਧੁ ਤੇ ਭਗਤ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਨ ॥
jin kai hirdai too su-aamee tay sukh fal paavahi tay taray bhav sinDh tay bhagat har jaan.
O’ God, within whose heart You are enshrined, they attain the fruit of spiritual bliss and swim across the world-ocean of vices; they alone are known as the true devotees of God:
ਹੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਤੂੰ ਵੱਸ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਉਹ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਭੀ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਭਗਤ ਜਾਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ:
ਤਿਨ ਸੇਵਾ ਹਮ ਲਾਇ ਹਰੇ ਹਮ ਲਾਇ ਹਰੇ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੇ ਹਰਿ ਤੂ ਤੂ ਤੂ ਤੂ ਤੂ ਭਗਵਾਨ ॥੨॥੬॥੧੨॥
tin sayvaa ham laa-ay haray ham laa-ay haray jan naanak kay har too too too too too bhagvaan. ||2||6||12||
O’ devotee Nanak’s God! You alone are the supreme creator, please enjoin me to their service, and keep me engaged there. ||2||6||12||
ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ! ਮੈਨੂੰ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿਚ ਲਾਈ ਰੱਖ, ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿਚ ਲਾਈ ਰੱਖ ॥੨॥੬॥੧੨॥

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ik-oNkaar satgur parsaad.
One eternal God, realized by the grace of the True Guru:
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਗਾਈਐ ਗੁਣ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ॥
gaa-ee-ai gun gopaal kirpaa niDh.
Let us sing the praises of God, the sustainer of the universe and the treasure of mercy.
ਆਓ, ਰਲ ਕੇ ਦਇਆ-ਦੇ-ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਿਆ ਕਰੀਏ l
ਦੁਖ ਬਿਦਾਰਨ ਸੁਖਦਾਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਭੇਟਤ ਹੋਇ ਸਗਲ ਸਿਧਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
dukh bidaaran sukh-daatay satgur jaa ka-o bhaytat ho-ay sagal siDh. ||1|| rahaa-o.
The true Guru is the destroyer of sorrows and the bestower of inner peace, by meeting and following his teachings, one’s life becomes completely successful. ||1||Pause||
ਜਿਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆਂ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੁਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਸਿਮਰਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਹਿ ਸਾਧਾਰੈ ॥
simrat naam maneh saDhaarai.
Remembrance of Naam provides support to the mind against vices,
ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਮ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਨੂੰ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਟਾਕਰੇ ਤੇ) ਸਹਾਰਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਕੋਟਿ ਪਰਾਧੀ ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਤਾਰੈ ॥੧॥
kot paraaDhee khin meh taarai. ||1||
and ferries millions of sinners across the world-ocean of vices in an instant. ||1||
ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਪਾਪੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ ਖਿਨ ਵਿਚ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਚੀਤਿ ਆਵੈ ਗੁਰੁ ਅਪਨਾ ॥
jaa ka-o cheet aavai gur apnaa.
One who always lovingly remembers his Guru’s teachings,
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਚੇਤੇ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਤਾ ਕਉ ਦੂਖੁ ਨਹੀ ਤਿਲੁ ਸੁਪਨਾ ॥੨॥
taa ka-o dookh nahee til supnaa. ||2||
does not suffer an iota of misery even in his dream. ||2||
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਵਿਚ ਭੀ ਰਤਾ ਭਰ ਤਕਲੀਫ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ॥੨॥
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਅਪਨਾ ਰਾਖੈ ॥
jaa ka-o satgur apnaa raakhai.
That person whom his true Guru protects,
ਪਿਆਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਰਸਨਾ ਚਾਖੈ ॥੩॥
so jan har ras rasnaa chaakhai. ||3||
tastes the sublime essence of God’s Name with his tongue. ||3||
ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਆਪਣੀ) ਜੀਭ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ ਚੱਖਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਿ ਕੀਨੀ ਮਇਆ ॥
kaho naanak gur keenee ma-i-aa.
O’ Nanak, say that those persons upon whom the Guru bestowed grace,
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ, ਆਖ- (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਉਤੇ) ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਮਿਹਰ ਕੀਤੀ,
ਹਲਤਿ ਪਲਤਿ ਮੁਖ ਊਜਲ ਭਇਆ ॥੪॥੧॥
halat palat mukh oojal bha-i-aa. ||4||1||
have been honored both here and hereafter. ||4||1||
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਉਜਲੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ॥੪॥੧॥

Raag Kaanraa, Fifth Guru:
ਆਰਾਧਉ ਤੁਝਹਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਪਨੇ ॥
aaraaDha-o tujheh su-aamee apnay.
O’ my Master-God, I always remember You with adoration.
ਹੇ (ਮੇਰੇ) ਮਾਲਕ! ਮੈਂ (ਸਦਾ) ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਊਠਤ ਬੈਠਤ ਸੋਵਤ ਜਾਗਤ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਨੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
oothat baithat sovat jaagat saas saas saas har japnay. ||1|| rahaa-o.
I recite Your Name with each and every breath while sitting, standing, asleep or awake. ||1||Pause||
ਉਠਦਿਆਂ, ਬੈਠਦਿਆਂ, ਸੁੱਤਿਆਂ, ਜਾਗਦਿਆਂ, ਹਰੇਕ ਸਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਤਾ ਕੈ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਬਸਿਓ ਨਾਮੁ ॥
taa kai hirdai basi-o naam.
God’s Name remains enshrined in the heart of that person,
ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਲਕ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਟਿਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕੀਨੋ ਦਾਨੁ ॥੧॥
jaa ka-o su-aamee keeno daan. ||1||
on whom the Master-God bestows this gift of Naam. ||1||
ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ (ਨਾਮ ਦੀ) ਦਾਤ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਤਾ ਕੈ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਆਈ ਸਾਂਤਿ ॥
taa kai hirdai aa-ee saaNt.
Peace and tranquility come to abide in the heart of that person,
ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਲੋਂ) ਠੰਢ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ,
ਠਾਕੁਰ ਭੇਟੇ ਗੁਰ ਬਚਨਾਂਤਿ ॥੨॥
thaakur bhaytay gur bachnaaNt. ||2||
who realizes the Master-God through the Guru’s divine word. ||2||
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਸਰਬ ਕਲਾ ਸੋਈ ਪਰਬੀਨ ॥
sarab kalaa so-ee parbeen.
That person alone is proficient in all the spiritual skills,
ਉਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਤਾਕਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਹੈ,
ਨਾਮ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਨ ॥੩॥
naam mantar jaa ka-o gur deen. ||3||
to whom the Guru has blessed with the mantra of God’s Name. ||3||
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੩॥
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥
kaho naanak taa kai bal jaa-o.
O’ Nanak, say that I am dedicated to that person,
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖ- ਮੈਂ ਉਸ (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
ਕਲਿਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਿਨਿ ਨਾਉ ॥੪॥੨॥
kalijug meh paa-i-aa jin naa-o. ||4||2||
who has been blessed with Naam in the present age of Kalyug. ||4||2||
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਬਖੇੜਿਆਂ-ਭਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ ॥੪॥੨॥

Raag Kaanraa, Fifth Guru:
ਕੀਰਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀ ਗਾਉ ਮੇਰੀ ਰਸਨਾਂ ॥
keerat parabh kee gaa-o mayree rasnaaN.
O’ my tongue, sing the praises of God,
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜੀਭ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਇਆ ਕਰ।
ਅਨਿਕ ਬਾਰ ਕਰਿ ਬੰਦਨ ਸੰਤਨ ਊਹਾਂ ਚਰਨ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਜੀ ਕੇ ਬਸਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
anik baar kar bandan santan oohaaN charan gobind jee kay basnaa. ||1|| rahaa-o.
O’ brother, humbly bow down before the saintly persons innumerable times, because God’s Name resides in their heart. ||1||Pause||
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ, ਸੰਤ-ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਵਾਰੀ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰ, ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਅਨਿਕ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਦੁਆਰੁ ਨ ਪਾਵਉ ॥
anik bhaaNt kar du-aar na paava-o.
I cannot find the way to realize God even by doing countless ritualistic deeds.
ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਢੰਗ ਵਰਤ ਕੇ ਭੀ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਭ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਹੋਇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੁ ਤ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਵਉ ॥੧॥
ho-ay kirpaal ta har har Dhi-aava-o. ||1||
However if God Himself becomes gracious, then I can remember Him with loving devotion. ||1||
ਜੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਦਇਵਾਨ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੧॥
ਕੋਟਿ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਿ ਦੇਹ ਨ ਸੋਧਾ ॥
kot karam kar dayh na soDhaa.
A person’s body is not purified by performing even millions of ritualistic deeds.
(ਤੀਰਥ-ਯਾਤ੍ਰਾ ਆਦਿਕ) ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਹੀ (ਮਿਥੇ ਹੋਏ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ) ਕਰਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ) ਸਰੀਰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਹਿ ਮਨੁ ਪਰਬੋਧਾ ॥੨॥
saaDhsangat meh man parboDhaa. ||2||
Human mind awakens spiritually only in the company of the saints. ||2||
ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਜਾਗਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਨ ਬੂਝੀ ਬਹੁ ਰੰਗ ਮਾਇਆ ॥
tarisan na boojhee baho rang maa-i-aa.
The craving for Maya is not quenched even after enjoying innumerable worldly pleasures,
ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਰੰਗ ਰਲੀਆ ਮਾਨਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਟਦੀ,
ਨਾਮੁ ਲੈਤ ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇਆ ॥੩॥
naam lait sarab sukh paa-i-aa. ||3||
but all the comforts and inner peace is attained by remembering God’s Name with adoration. ||3||
ਪਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਿਆਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩॥
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਜਬ ਭਏ ਦਇਆਲ ॥
paarbarahm jab bha-ay da-i-aal.
When God becomes gracious on any person:
ਜਦੋਂ (ਕਿਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਉੱਤੇ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ:
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਉ ਛੂਟੇ ਜੰਜਾਲ ॥੪॥੩॥
kaho naanak ta-o chhootay janjaal. ||4||3||
O’ Nanak, say, only then all his bonds of the love for Maya are broken. ||4||3||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖ- ਤਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਦਿਆਂ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਦੀਆਂ (ਸਾਰੀਆਂ) ਫਾਹੀਆਂ ਟੁੱਟ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੪॥੩॥

ਐਸੀ ਮਾਂਗੁ ਗੋਬਿਦ ਤੇ ॥
aisee maaNg gobid tay.
Pray for such benefaction from the Master of the Universe,
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ (ਦਾਤਿ) ਮੰਗ,
ਟਹਲ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੀ ਸੰਗੁ ਸਾਧੂ ਕਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾਂ ਜਪਿ ਪਰਮ ਗਤੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
tahal santan kee sang saaDhoo kaa har naamaaN jap param gatay. ||1|| rahaa-o.
that you may have the opportunity to serve the saints, keep the Guru’s company, and attain the supreme spiritual state by remembering God’s Name. ||1||Pause||
(ਕਿ ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਟਹਲ (ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਰਹੇ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ (ਮਿਲਿਆ ਰਹੇ, ਅਤੇ) ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਵਸਥਾ (ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਸਕੇਂ) ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਪੂਜਾ ਚਰਨਾ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਰਨਾ ॥
poojaa charnaa thaakur sarnaa.
O’ mortal, ask from God, that you may always remember God’s Name with adoration, may always remain under His refuge,
(ਇਹ ਮੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੋਂ ਮੰਗ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆ ਰਹਾਂ,
ਸੋਈ ਕੁਸਲੁ ਜੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀਉ ਕਰਨਾ ॥੧॥
so-ee kusal jo parabh jee-o karnaa. ||1||
and may find bliss and happiness in whatever the revered God does. ||1||
ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਸੁਖ ਸਮਝਾਂ ॥੧॥
ਸਫਲ ਹੋਤ ਇਹ ਦੁਰਲਭ ਦੇਹੀ ॥
safal hot ih durlabh dayhee.
This difficult to obtain human body of that person becomes fruitful,
ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਦੁਰਲੱਭ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਸਫਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
