ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਨੀਕੇ ਜਿਨ ਮਿਲਿਆਂ ਮਨੁ ਰੰਗਿ ਰੰਗੀਤਿ ॥
har kay sant sant jan neekay jin mili-aaN man rang rangeet.
Blessed are the sublime saints of God, because one’s mind is imbued with the love of God by meeting them.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਭਗਤ ਚੰਗੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆਂ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਹੈ ਨ ਉਤਰੈ ਕਬਹੂ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਇ ਮਿਲੈ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ॥੩॥
har rang lahai na utrai kabhoo har har jaa-ay milai har pareet. ||3||
God’s love never fades or wears off, and through this love one gets united with Him.||3||
ਭੂ-ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਰੰਗ ਕਦੇ ਭੀ ਲਹਿੰਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਕਦੇ ਭੀ ਉਤਰਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
ਹਮ ਬਹੁ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਏ ਅਪਰਾਧੀ ਗੁਰਿ ਕਾਟੇ ਕਟਿਤ ਕਟੀਤਿ ॥
ham baho paap kee-ay apraaDhee gur kaatay katit kateet.
We human beings are sinners because we commit too many sins; the Guru eradicated all the sins of those who followed his teachings.
ਅਸੀਂ ਜੀਵ ਬੜੇ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਅਸੀਂ ਬੜੇ ਮੰਦ-ਕਰਮੀ ਹਾਂ (ਜਿਹੜੇ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਜਾ ਪਏ) ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪ) ਪੂਰਨ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਕੱਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਓ ਮੁਖਿ ਅਉਖਧੁ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਤਿਤ ਪੁਨੀਤਿ ॥੪॥੫॥
har har naam dee-o mukh a-ukhaDh jan naanak patit puneet. ||4||5||
O’ devotee Nanak, those sinners have been purified, whom the Guru has blessed with the healing remedy of God’s Name. ||4||5||
ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਮੁਖ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਦਾਰੂ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੪॥੫॥

Raag Kaanraa, Fourth Guru:
ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਜਗੰਨਾਥ ॥
jap man raam naam jagannaath.
O’ my mind, lovingly remember the Name of God, the Master of the universe.
ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਨਾਥ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ।
ਘੂਮਨ ਘੇਰ ਪਰੇ ਬਿਖੁ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕਾਢਿ ਲੀਏ ਦੇ ਹਾਥ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ghooman ghayr paray bikh bikhi-aa satgur kaadh lee-ay day haath. ||1|| rahaa-o.
By lending support, the true Guru lifts up even those who are drowning in the whirlpool of materialism, the poison for the spiritual life. ||1||Pause||
(ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀਆਂ ਘੁੰਮਣ ਘੇਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਗੁਰੂ (ਆਪਣਾ) ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕੱਢ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਭੈ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਨਰਹਰਿ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਹਮ ਪਾਪੀ ਪਾਥ ॥
su-aamee abhai niranjan narhar tumH raakh layho ham paapee paath.
O’ the fearless, immaculate Master-God, please protect us, the sinners who are heavy like stones with the load of so many vices.
ਹੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਅਸੀਂ ਜੀਵ ਪਾਪੀ ਹਾਂ, ਪੱਥਰ (ਹੋ ਚੁਕੇ) ਹਾਂ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲੈ।
ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਲੋਭਿ ਲੁਭਤੇ ਕਾਸਟ ਲੋਹ ਤਰੇ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਾਥ ॥੧॥
kaam kroDh bikhi-aa lobh lubh-tay kaasat loh taray sang saath. ||1||
We are engrossed in lust, anger, and greed for Maya; just as a piece of iron attache to wood crosses the river, please ferry us across the worldly ocean of vices by uniting with the Guru. ||1||
(ਅਸੀਂ) ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਲੋਭ ਵਿਚ ਗ੍ਰਸੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। (ਜਿਵੇਂ) ਕਾਠ (ਬੇੜੀ) ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਲੋਹਾ (ਨਦੀ ਤੋਂ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਸਮੁੰਦ੍ਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਲੈ) ॥੧॥
ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਵਡ ਪੁਰਖ ਬਡ ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਹਮ ਢੂਢਿ ਰਹੇ ਪਾਈ ਨਹੀ ਹਾਥ ॥
tumH vad purakh bad agam agochar ham dhoodh rahay paa-ee nahee haath.
O’ Master-God! You are the great Primal Being, incomprehensible; we exhausted ourselves looking for You, but couldn’t find the limit of Your creation.
ਹੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਤੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਹੈਂ, ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਆਨ-ਇੰਦ੍ਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਤਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਜੀਵ ਭਾਲ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਥੱਕ ਗਏ ਹਾਂ, ਤੇਰੀ ਡੂੰਘਾਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਲੱਭ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੇ।
ਤੂ ਪਰੈ ਪਰੈ ਅਪਰੰਪਰੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤੂ ਆਪਨ ਜਾਨਹਿ ਆਪਿ ਜਗੰਨਾਥ ॥੨॥
too parai parai aprampar su-aamee too aapan jaaneh aap jagannaath. ||2||
O’ God of the universe, You are infinite and beyond any limits; You alone know Yourself. ||2||
ਤੂੰ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੈਂ, ਪਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈਂ। ਹੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਨਾਥ! ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੨॥
ਅਦ੍ਰਿਸਟੁ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਏ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਪਾਥ ॥
adrist agochar naam Dhi-aa-ay satsangat mil saaDhoo paath.
God cannot be seen with eyes; one can remember the Unfathomable God’s Name by joining the holy company, and by following the Guru’s teachings.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ। (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਉਸ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਾਧ-ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਦਸਿਆ ਰਸਤਾ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਜਪ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਨੀ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਓ ਅਕਥ ਕਥ ਕਾਥ ॥੩॥
har har kathaa sunee mil sangat har har japi-o akath kath kaath. ||3||
One can listen to the praises of God by joining the holy congregation and He can be lovingly remembered God whose all virtues cannot be described. ||3||
ਸਾਧ-ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਸੁਣੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਿਆਨ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ) ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੩॥
ਹਮਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜਗਦੀਸ ਗੁਸਾਈ ਹਮ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਜਗੰਨਾਥ ॥
hamray parabh jagdees gusaa-ee ham raakh layho jagannaath.
O’ God, the Master of the world, the Creator of the universe, please protect us from the worldly evils.
ਹੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਹੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਖਸਮ! ਹੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਨਾਥ! ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਲੋਭ ਆਦਿਕ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਾਈ ਰੱਖ।
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਦਾਸੁ ਦਾਸ ਦਾਸਨ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਰਹੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਜਨ ਸਾਥ ॥੪॥੬॥
jan naanak daas daas daasan ko parabh karahu kirpaa raakho jan saath. ||4||6||
O’ God, please show mercy on devotee Nanak, the servant of Your devotees, and keep me in the company of Your devotees. ||4||6||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰਾ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਾਸ ਹੈ। ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ, (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਖ ॥੪॥੬॥

One eternal God, realized by the grace of the True Guru:
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਮਨ ਜਾਪਹੁ ਰਾਮ ਗੁਪਾਲ ॥
man jaapahu raam gupaal.
O’ my mind, lovingly remember the Name of God, the master of the universe.
ਹੇ (ਮੇਰੇ) ਮਨ! ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਲਣਹਾਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਦਾ ਨਾਮ) ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ।
ਹਰਿ ਰਤਨ ਜਵੇਹਰ ਲਾਲ ॥
har ratan javayhar laal.
God’s Name is precious like gems, jewels, and rubies.
ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਰਤਨ ਹਨ, ਜਵਾਹਰ ਹਨ, ਲਾਲ ਹਨ।
ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਘੜਿ ਟਕਸਾਲ ॥
har gurmukh gharh taksaal.
God moulds (spiritually enlighten) our mind in the holy congregation through the Guru’s teachings.
ਗੁਰੂ-ਅਨੁਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਿਖਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਢਾਲਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਹਰਿ ਹੋ ਹੋ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
har ho ho kirpaal. ||1|| rahaa-o.
O’ God, please be merciful on me. ||1||Pause||
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ! ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੋ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਤੁਮਰੇ ਗੁਨ ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਏਕ ਜੀਹ ਕਿਆ ਕਥੈ ਬਿਚਾਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਲਾਲ ॥
tumray gun agam agochar ayk jeeh ki-aa kathai bichaaree raam raam raam raam laal.
O’ my Beloved God, Your virtues are inaccessible and incomprehensible; how can my one tongue comprehend and describe these.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਅਥਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਾਧ ਹਨ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਨੇਕੀਆਂ। ਮੇਰੀ ਇਕ ਜੀਭ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਰਨਣ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ?
ਤੁਮਰੀ ਜੀ ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਤੂ ਤੂ ਤੂ ਹੀ ਜਾਨਹਿ ਹਉ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਭਈ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੧॥
tumree jee akath kathaa too too too hee jaaneh ha-o har jap bha-ee nihaal nihaal nihaal. ||1||
O’ revered God! Your praises are indescribable, You Yourself alone know it, and I have become completely delighted by reciting Your Name. ||1||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ! ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਬਿਆਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਾਂ) ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਮੈਂ (ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ) ਜਪ ਕੇ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ-ਚਿੱਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹਾਂ ॥੧॥
ਹਮਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਸਖਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਮੀਤਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਜੀਹ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਹਰੇ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਧਨੁ ਮਾਲ ॥
hamray har paraan sakhaa su-aamee har meetaa mayray man tan jeeh har haray haray raam naam Dhan maal.
God is my Master, my Companion and my Breath of Life; His Name is all the wealth and capital for my mind, my body and my tongue.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਹਨ, ਸਾਡੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਹਨ, ਸਾਡੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਹਨ। ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ, ਮੇਰੇ ਤਨ ਵਿਚ, ਮੇਰੀ ਜੀਭ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਧਨ ਹੈ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਸਰਮਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਜਾ ਕੋ ਭਾਗੁ ਤਿਨਿ ਲੀਓ ਰੀ ਸੁਹਾਗੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰੇ ਹਰੇ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵੈ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲੇ ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲੇ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਭਈ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੨॥੧॥੭॥
jaa ko bhaag tin lee-o ree suhaag har har haray haray gun gaavai gurmat ha-o bal balay ha-o bal balay jan naanak har jap bha-ee nihaal nihaal nihaal. ||2||1||7||
One who is predestined, has realized God and he sings His praises by following the Guru’s teachings: O’ devotee Nanak, I am dedicated to the one who became completely delighted by lovingly remembering God. ||2||1||7||
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਦਾ ਭਾਗ ਜਾਗ ਪਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ, ਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮੱਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਖਿੜਾਉ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਕੇ ਹਾਂ ॥੨॥੧॥੭॥

O’ brother, sing the Praises of God, the master of the Universe.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ, ਉਸ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਸਦਾ ਗਾਂਦੇ ਰਹੋ।
ਏਕਾ ਜੀਹ ਕੀਚੈ ਲਖ ਬੀਸ ॥
aykaa jeeh keechai lakh bees.
Turn your one tongue into hundreds of thousands to sing praises of God,
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਆਪਣੀ ਇੱਕ ਜੀਭ ਨੂੰ ਵੀਹ ਲੱਖ ਜੀਭਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਜਪੀਸ ॥
jap har har sabad japees.
and through the Guru’s divine word, lovingly remember God’s Name which is worth remembering.
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਉਸ ਜਪਣ-ਯੋਗ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਦਾ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰੋ।
ਹਰਿ ਹੋ ਹੋ ਕਿਰਪੀਸ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਹੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾਲੂ ਹੋਵੋ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਹਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਮ ਲਾਇ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਜਪੇ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਜਪੇ ਜਪੁ ਜਾਪਉ ਜਗਦੀਸ ॥
har kirpaa kar su-aamee ham laa-ay har sayvaa har jap japay har jap japay jap jaapa-o jagdees.
O’ God my Master, bestow mercy and keep us engaged in Your devotional worship: O’ Master of the universe, bless me so that I may keep remembering Your Name.
ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਹੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ, ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਲਾਈ ਰੱਖ। ਹੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਈਸ਼ਵਰ! ਮੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ।
ਤੁਮਰੇ ਜਨ ਰਾਮੁ ਜਪਹਿ ਤੇ ਊਤਮ ਤਿਨ ਕਉ ਹਉ ਘੁਮਿ ਘੁਮੇ ਘੁਮਿ ਘੁਮਿ ਜੀਸ ॥੧॥
tumray jan raam jaapeh tay ootam tin ka-o ha-o ghum ghumay ghum ghum jees. ||1||
O’ God, those devotees who remember Your Name with adoration, become sublime, and I am always totally dedicated to them. ||1||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਤੇਰਾ ਰਾਮ-ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਉੱਚੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਸਦਾ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੧॥
