Raag Sarang, Fourth Guru:
ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਨਰਹਰੇ ਨਰਹਰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਸਗਲ ਦੇਵ ਦੇਵਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਾ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਮੋਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jap man narharay narhar su-aamee har sagal dayv dayvaa saree raam raam naamaa har pareetam moraa. ||1|| rahaa-o.
O’ my mind, lovingly remember the Master-God, the most Divine of all the gods; He is my beloved, the most respected and all pervading God. ||1||Pause||
ਹੇ (ਮੇਰੇ) ਮਨ! (ਸਭ ਦੇ) ਮਾਲਕ ਨਰਹਰ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ, ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ, ਉਹ ਹਰੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਹਰੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਜਿਤੁ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਤੇ ਰਾਮ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਤੇ ਤਿਤੁ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਵਾਜੇ ਪੰਚ ਸਬਦ ਵਡ ਭਾਗ ਮਥੋਰਾ ॥
jit garihi gun gaavtay har kay gun gaavtay raam gun gaavtay tit garihi vaajay panch sabad vad bhaag mathoraa.
That heart, in which God’s praises are sung, is in such bliss as if an orchestra of five musical instruments is playing in it; great is the pre-ordained destiny of those who are blessed with such a state.
ਜਿਸ ਹਿਰਦੇ- ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਹਿਰਦੇ- ਘਰ ਵਿਚ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਪੰਜ ਹੀ ਕਿਸਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਜ ਵੱਜ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਹ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਬਣਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗ ਹਨ।
ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ ਜਨ ਕੇ ਸਭਿ ਪਾਪ ਗਏ ਸਭਿ ਦੋਖ ਗਏ ਸਭਿ ਰੋਗ ਗਏ ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਲੋਭੁ ਮੋਹੁ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ਗਏ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ ਜਨ ਕੇ ਹਰਿ ਮਾਰਿ ਕਢੇ ਪੰਚ ਚੋਰਾ ॥੧॥
tinH jan kay sabh paap ga-ay sabh dokh ga-ay sabh rog ga-ay kaam kroDh lobh moh abhimaan ga-ay tinH jan kay har maar kadhay panch choraa. ||1||
All their sins, vices and afflictions are eradicated; their lust, anger, attachment, greed and ego vanish as if God has beaten out these five thieves which rob them of their virtues. ||1||
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪ, ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਕਾਰ, ਸਾਰੇ ਰੋਗ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਲੋਭ ਮੋਹ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ (ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਸਰਮਾਇਆ ਚੁਰਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ) ਪੰਜਾਂ ਚੋਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਕੱਢ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਬੋਲਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਜਨ ਸਾਧੂ ਜਗਦੀਸੁ ਜਪਹੁ ਮਨਿ ਬਚਨਿ ਕਰਮਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਆਰਾਧੂ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਜਨ ਸਾਧੂ ॥
har raam bolhu har saaDhoo har kay jan saaDhoo jagdees japahu man bachan karam har har aaraaDhoo har kay jan saaDhoo.
O’ saints of God, always recite God’s Name, meditate on the Master of the world and lovingly remember Him with every thought, word and deed.
ਹੇ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਚਾਰਿਆ ਕਰੋ। ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰੋ, ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ (ਹਰੇਕ) ਬਚਨ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ (ਹਰੇਕ) ਕਰਮ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰੋ।
ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਬੋਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਬੋਲਿ ਸਭਿ ਪਾਪ ਗਵਾਧੂ ॥
har raam bol har raam bol sabh paap gavaaDhoo.
By repeatedly reciting God’s Name, you would get rid of all your sins.
ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਚਾਰ ਕੇ, ਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਲਵੋਗੇ।
ਨਿਤ ਨਿਤ ਜਾਗਰਣੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਆਨੰਦੁ ਜਪਿ ਜਗਦੀਸੋੁਰਾ ॥
nit nit jaagran karahu sadaa sadaa aanand jap jagdeesoraa.
Always remain awake and alert to the onslaught of vices and forever remain in spiritual bliss by lovingly remembering God, the master of the world.
ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਲਿਆਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਰਹੋ। ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਮਨ ਇਛੇ ਫਲ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਸਭੈ ਫਲ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਧਰਮੁ ਅਰਥੁ ਕਾਮ ਮੋਖੁ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਮਿਲੇ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤ ਤੋਰਾ ॥੨॥੨॥੯॥
man ichhay fal paavhu sabhai fal paavhu Dharam arath kaam mokh jan naanak har si-o milay har bhagat toraa. ||2||2||9||
By doing so, you would receive all the fruits of your mind’s desire, including righteousness, riches, success, and liberation: O’ Nanak say, O’ God, those who remain absorbed in You are Your true devotees. ||2||2||9||
ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! (ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨ-ਮੰਗੇ ਫਲ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰੋਗੇ, ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਰਾਦਾਂ ਪਾ ਲਵੋਗੇ। ਧਰਮ, ਅਰਥ, ਕਾਮ, ਮੋਖ-ਇਹ ਚਾਰੇ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਵੋਗੇ। ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਤੇਰੇ (ਚਰਨਾਂ) ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਭਗਤ ਹਨ ॥੨॥੨॥੯॥

ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਮਾਧੋ ਮਧੁਸੂਦਨੋ ਹਰਿ ਸ੍ਰੀਰੰਗੋ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੋ ਸਤਿ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥
jap man maaDho maDhusoodno har sareerango parmaysaro sat parmaysaro parabh antarjaamee.
O’ my mind lovingly remember the omniscient supreme God who is the destroyer of demons, the master of wealth and is eternal.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਹਰੇਕ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ, ਉਹੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਪਤੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਮਧੂ ਰਾਖਸ਼ ਦਾ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਹਰੀ ਲੱਛਮੀ ਦਾ ਖਸਮ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਭ ਦੂਖਨ ਕੋ ਹੰਤਾ ਸਭ ਸੂਖਨ ਕੋ ਦਾਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਓੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sabh dookhan ko hantaa sabh sookhan ko daataa har pareetam gun gaa-o. ||1|| rahaa-o.
Yes, sing praises of that beloved God who is the destroyer of all sarrows and the giver of all comforts. ||1||Pause||
ਹਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇਆ ਕਰ, ਉਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਹਰਿ ਘਟਿ ਘਟੇ ਘਟਿ ਬਸਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਲਿ ਥਲੇ ਹਰਿ ਬਸਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਥਾਨ ਥਾਨੰਤਰਿ ਬਸਤਾ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਦੇਖਨ ਕੋ ਚਾਓੁ ॥
har ghat ghatay ghat bastaa har jal thalay har bastaa har thaan thaanantar bastaa mai har daykhan ko chaa-o.
I have a longing to see that God, who abides in each and every heart, abides in all lands, waters, and dwells in all the spaces.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਉਹ ਹਰੀ ਹਰੇਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਲ ਵਿਚ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰੇਕ ਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਦੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਹੈ।
ਕੋਈ ਆਵੈ ਸੰਤੋ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਜਨੁ ਸੰਤੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਜਨੁ ਸੰਤੋ ਮੋਹਿ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਦਿਖਲਾਵੈ ॥
ko-ee aavai santo har kaa jan santo mayraa pareetam jan santo mohi maarag dikhlaavai.
O’ saints, I wish that some saint and devotee of God may come and show me the way to realize my beloved God.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਤ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆ ਮਿਲੇ, ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਤ ਆ ਮਿਲੇ, ਕੋਈ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆ ਮਿਲੇ, ਤੇ, ਮੈਨੂੰ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਦਾ) ਰਾਹ ਵਿਖਾ ਜਾਏ,
ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕੇ ਹਉ ਮਲਿ ਮਲਿ ਧੋਵਾ ਪਾਓੁ ॥੧॥
tis jan kay ha-o mal mal Dhovaa paa-o. ||1||
I would most humbly serve that devotee, I would massage and wash his feet.||1||
ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੈਰ ਮਲ ਮਲ ਕੇ ਧੋਵਾਂ ॥੧॥
ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਸਰਧਾ ਤੇ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ॥
har jan ka-o har mili-aa har sarDhaa tay mili-aa gurmukh har mili-aa.
The devotees meet God, through their faith and through the Guru’s teachings.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਸੇਵਕ ਦੀ) ਸਰਧਾ-ਭਾਵਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਆਨੰਦ ਭਏ ਮੈ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਓੁ ॥
mayrai man tan aanand bha-ay mai daykhi-aa har raa-o.
Spiritual bliss has welled up in my mind and body and I have visualized God, the sovereign King. ||2||
(ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਭੀ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਕੀਤਾ, ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਮੇਰੇ ਤਨ ਵਿਚ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੀ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਭਈ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਭਈ ਜਗਦੀਸੁਰ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਭਈ ॥
jan naanak ka-o kirpaa bha-ee har kee kirpaa bha-ee jagdeesur kirpaa bha-ee.
Devotee Nanak has been blessed with the grace of God, the master of the world.
ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਉਤੇ (ਭੀ) ਮਿਹਰ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਹਰੀ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ,
ਮੈ ਅਨਦਿਨੋ ਸਦ ਸਦ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਓੁ ॥੨॥੩॥੧੦॥
mai andino sad sad sadaa har japi-aa har naa-o. ||2||3||10||
I am always and forever remembering God’s Name with adoration. ||2||3||10||l
ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੨॥੩॥੧੦॥

ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਨਿਰਭਉ ॥
jap man nirbha-o.
O’ my mind, lovingly remember the fearless God,
ਹੇ (ਮੇਰੇ) ਮਨ! ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਡਰ ਨਹੀਂ,
ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਸਦਾ ਸਤਿ ॥
sat sat sadaa sat.
who is eternal.
ਜੋ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ,
ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ॥
nirvair akaal moorat.
He is without enmity and is beyond death.
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਵੈਰ ਨਹੀਂ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਹਸਤੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ,
ਆਜੂਨੀ ਸੰਭਉ ॥
aajoonee sambha-o.
He never falls into existences, and is self revealed
ਜੋ ਜੂਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ, ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਤੋਂ ਪਰਗਟ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਅਨਦਿਨੋੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ਨਿਰਾਹਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
mayray man andino Dhi-aa-ay nirankaar niraahaaree. ||1|| rahaa-o.
O’ my mind, always lovingly remember that formless God who doesn’t need any food (for His survival). ||1||Pause||
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਿਆ ਕਰ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ਕਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਉ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਉ ਕੋਟਿ ਕੋਟਿ ਤੇਤੀਸ ਸਿਧ ਜਤੀ ਜੋਗੀ ਤਟ ਤੀਰਥ ਪਰਭਵਨ ਕਰਤ ਰਹਤ ਨਿਰਾਹਾਰੀ ॥
har darsan ka-o har darsan ka-o kot kot taytees siDh jatee jogee tat tirath parbhavan karat rahat niraahaaree.
To have the glimpse of God, millions of adepts, celibates and Yogis make their pilgrimages to sacred shrines and river-banks, and remain hungry.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ ਤੇਤੀ ਕ੍ਰੋੜ ਦੇਵਤੇ, ਸਿੱਧ ਜਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਜੋਗੀ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਰਹਿ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਤੀਰਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਰਟਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਤਿਨ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਥਾਇ ਪਈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ ਕਉ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਹੋਵਤੁ ਬਨਵਾਰੀ ॥੧॥
tin jan kee sayvaa thaa-ay pa-ee jinH ka-o kirpaal hovat banvaaree. ||1||
But only the service of those devotees becomes fruitful on whom God becomes gracious. ||1||
ਪਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਬੂਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਹੋ ਸੰਤ ਭਲੇ ਤੇ ਊਤਮ ਭਗਤ ਭਲੇ ਜੋ ਭਾਵਤ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਮ ਮੁਰਾਰੀ ॥
har kay ho sant bhalay tay ootam bhagat bhalay jo bhaavat har raam muraaree.
Virtuous and sublime are those saints and devotees of God, who are pleasing to the all pervading God.
ਉਹ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਤ ਚੰਗੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਭਗਤ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ-ਦਮਨ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ ਕਾ ਅੰਗੁ ਕਰੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ ਕੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਪੈਜ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥੨॥੪॥੧੧॥
jinH kaa ang karai mayraa su-aamee tinH kee naanak har paij savaaree. ||2||4||11||
O’ Nanak, those whose side my Master-God takes, He preserves their honor. ||2||4||11||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੱਖ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ) ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਰੱਖ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੪॥੧੧॥
