ਆਇਆ ਓਹੁ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ਹੈ ਜਿ ਕੁਲ ਕਾ ਕਰੇ ਉਧਾਰੁ ॥
aa-i-aa oh parvaan hai je kul kaa karay uDhaar.
he emancipates his entire lineage and approved is his advent into this world.
ਆਪਣੀ ਕੁਲ ਦਾ ਭੀ ਪਾਰ-ਉਤਾਰਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਆਉਣਾ ਸਫਲ ਹੈ।
ਅਗੈ ਜਾਤਿ ਨ ਪੁਛੀਐ ਕਰਣੀ ਸਬਦੁ ਹੈ ਸਾਰੁ ॥
agai jaat na puchhee-ai karnee sabad hai saar.
Hereafter, no one is questioned about social status; there, the remembrance of God is held as the most sublime deed.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਤਿ ਦੀ ਪੁੱਛ-ਗਿੱਛ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ, ਓਥੇ ਤਾਂ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨੀ ਮਿਥੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ,
ਹੋਰੁ ਕੂੜੁ ਪੜਣਾ ਕੂੜੁ ਕਮਾਵਣਾ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਨਾਲਿ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥
hor koorh parh-naa koorh kamaavanaa bikhi-aa naal pi-aar.
Except for remembering God, all other studying or performing rituals is the love for Maya.
(ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ) ਹੋਰ ਪੜ੍ਹਨਾ ਤੇ ਕਮਾਣਾ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਹੈ, ਮਾਇਆ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪਿਆਰ (ਵਧਾਂਦਾ) ਹੈ।
ਅੰਦਰਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਨ ਹੋਵਈ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਜਨਮੁ ਖੁਆਰੁ ॥
andar sukh na hova-ee manmukh janam khu-aar.
The self-willed people waste away their lives, they do not find any peace within themselves.
ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਹੀ ਔਤਰ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਤੇ ਸੇ ਉਬਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਹੇਤਿ ਅਪਾਰਿ ॥੨॥
naanak naam ratay say ubray gur kai hayt apaar. ||2||
O’ Nanak, due to the immense love for the Guru, those who get imbued with the love of God’s Name, are saved from the love for Maya. ||2||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਬਿਖਿਆ’ ਦੇ ਅਸਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥

ਆਪੇ ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਆਪੇ ਸਭੁ ਸਚਾ ॥
aapay kar kar vaykh-daa aapay sabh sachaa.
God Himself creates the creatures and takes care of them, the eternal God Himself pervades everywhere.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਉਹ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਮੌਜੂਦ) ਹੈ।
ਜੋ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਨ ਬੂਝੈ ਖਸਮ ਕਾ ਸੋਈ ਨਰੁ ਕਚਾ ॥
jo hukam na boojhai khasam kaa so-ee nar kachaa.
One who doesn’t understand the Master-God’s will, is spiritually shallow and unstable.
ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝਦਾ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਡੋਲਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜਿਤੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਤੁ ਲਾਇਦਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਚਾ ॥
jit bhaavai tit laa-idaa gurmukh har sachaa.
By the Pleasure of His will, God enjoins everyone to different tasks, one whom He attaches to the Guru’s teachings, becomes like the eternal God.
ਜਿਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਸੇ ਪਾਸੇ (ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ) ਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਰੂਪ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਭਨਾ ਕਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਏਕੁ ਹੈ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਰਚਾ ॥
sabhnaa kaa saahib ayk hai gur sabdee rachaa.
There is only one Master-God of all, but one can unite with Him only through the Guru’s Divine word.
ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੀ (ਉਸ ਵਿਚ) ਜੁੜਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਦਾ ਸਲਾਹੀਐ ਸਭਿ ਤਿਸ ਦੇ ਜਚਾ ॥
gurmukh sadaa salaahee-ai sabh tis day jachaa.
We should always sing praises of God through the Guru’s teachings, because all these are His wondrous plays.
ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। (ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਇਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਕੌਤਕ ਉਸ ਮਾਲਕ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਹਨ।
ਜਿਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਪਿ ਨਚਾਇਦਾ ਤਿਵ ਹੀ ਕੋ ਨਚਾ ॥੨੨॥੧॥ ਸੁਧੁ ॥
ji-o naanak aap nachaa-idaa tiv hee ko nachaa. ||22||1|| suDh.
O’ Nanak, everyone does what God makes one to do. ||22||1|| correct||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ ਨਚਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਿਵੇਂ ਜੀਵ ਨੱਚਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੨॥੧॥ਸੁਧੁ ॥

One eternal God, realized by the grace of the True Guru:
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਤੂ ਚਉ ਸਜਣ ਮੈਡਿਆ ਡੇਈ ਸਿਸੁ ਉਤਾਰਿ ॥
too cha-o sajan maidi-aa day-ee sis utaar.
O’ my dear God! if You ask, then I will cut off my head and place it before You.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੱਜਣ! ਤੂੰ ਆਖ (ਭਾਵ, ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਖੇਂ) ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਿਰ ਭੀ ਲਾਹ ਕੇ ਭੇਟ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂ,
ਨੈਣ ਮਹਿੰਜੇ ਤਰਸਦੇ ਕਦਿ ਪਸੀ ਦੀਦਾਰੁ ॥੧॥
nain mahinjay tarasday kad pasee deedaar. ||1||
My eyes long for You; when will I see Your blessed vision? ||1||
ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਤਰਸ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਮੈਂ ਕਦੋਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਰਾਂਗੀ ॥੧॥

Fifth Guru:
ਨੀਹੁ ਮਹਿੰਜਾ ਤਊ ਨਾਲਿ ਬਿਆ ਨੇਹ ਕੂੜਾਵੇ ਡੇਖੁ ॥
neehu mahinjaa ta-oo naal bi-aa nayh koorhaavay daykh.
O’ God, my love is only with You; I have seen that love with any other is false.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਆਰ (ਹੁਣ ਸਿਰਫ਼) ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਵੇਖ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੂਜੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਝੂਠੇ ਹਨ।
ਕਪੜ ਭੋਗ ਡਰਾਵਣੇ ਜਿਚਰੁ ਪਿਰੀ ਨ ਡੇਖੁ ॥੨॥
kaparh bhog daraavanay jichar piree na daykh. ||2||
Until I have the blessed vision of my Husband God, till then even clothes and food are frightening to me. ||2||
ਜਿਤਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਤੀ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਦੁਨੀਆ ਵਾਲੇ ਖਾਣੇ ਪਹਿਨਣੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਡਰਾਉਣ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥

Fifth Guru:
ਉਠੀ ਝਾਲੂ ਕੰਤੜੇ ਹਉ ਪਸੀ ਤਉ ਦੀਦਾਰੁ ॥
uthee jhaaloo kant-rhay ha-o pasee ta-o deedaar.
O’ dear Husband-God! I wish to wake up in the morning, hoping to experience Your blessed vision.
ਹੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਕੰਤ! ਮੈਂ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਉੱਠਾਂ ਤੇ (ਪਹਿਲਾਂ) ਤੇਰਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਰਾਂ।
ਕਾਜਲੁ ਹਾਰੁ ਤਮੋਲ ਰਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਪਸੇ ਹਭਿ ਰਸ ਛਾਰੁ ॥੩॥
kaajal haar tamol ras bin pasay habh ras chhaar. ||3||
Without Your blessed vision, all the worldly pleasures like the eye make-up, the necklace and flavor of betel leaf are useless like ashes. ||3||
ਤੇਰਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕੱਜਲ, ਹਾਰ, ਪਾਨ ਦਾ ਰਸ-ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਰਸ ਸੁਆਹ ਸਮਾਨ ਹਨ ॥੩॥

ਤੂ ਸਚਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸਚੁ ਸਚੁ ਸਭੁ ਧਾਰਿਆ ॥
too sachaa saahib sach sach sabh Dhaari-aa.
O’ God, You are the eternal-master and You have established Your eternal law everywhere.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਅਟੱਲ ਨਿਯਮ ਹੀ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਕੀਤੋ ਥਾਟੁ ਸਿਰਜਿ ਸੰਸਾਰਿਆ ॥
gurmukh keeto thaat siraj sansaari-aa.
After creating the world, You established the rule that humans ought to tread the path shown by the Guru.
ਜਗਤ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਿਯਮ ਭੀ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਉਤੇ ਤੁਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਹਰਿ ਆਗਿਆ ਹੋਏ ਬੇਦ ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਵੀਚਾਰਿਆ ॥
har aagi-aa ho-ay bayd paap punn veechaari-aa.
O’ God! By Your command, the Vedas (the Hindu scripture) came into existence to ponder over virtue and sin.
ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਤੇਰੀ ਹੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵੇਦ (ਆਦਿਕ ਧਰਮ-ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਪਰਗਟ) ਹੋਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ (ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ) ਪਾਪ ਤੇ ਪੁੰਨ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਖੇੜਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਬਿਸਨੁ ਮਹੇਸੁ ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਣ ਬਿਸਥਾਰਿਆ ॥
barahmaa bisan mahays tarai gun bisthaari-aa.
You created the Brahma, the Vishnu, and the Shiva and the expanse of the three modes of Maya (vice, virtue and power).
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਨੂੰ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਖਿਲਾਰਾ-ਰੂਪ ਜਗਤ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਨਵ ਖੰਡ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੀ ਸਾਜਿ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗ ਸਵਾਰਿਆ ॥
nav khand parithmee saaj har rang savaari-aa.
O’ God! after creating this earth of nine continents, You embellished it with countless colors.
ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਇਹ ਨੌ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਸਾਜ ਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਰੰਗ ਸਜਾਏ ਹਨ।
ਵੇਕੀ ਜੰਤ ਉਪਾਇ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਕਲ ਧਾਰਿਆ ॥
vaykee jant upaa-ay antar kal Dhaari-aa.
After creating myriads of kinds of creatures, You infused Your power into them.
ਵਖ ਵਖ ਭਾਂਤ ਦੇ ਜੀਵ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤੂੰ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਆਪਣੀ ਸੱਤਿਆ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਤੇਰਾ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਜਾਣੈ ਕੋਇ ਸਚੁ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰਿਆ ॥
tayraa ant na jaanai ko-ay sach sirjanhaari-aa.
O’ the eternal Creator, nobody knows Your limit.
ਹੇ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ! ਕੋਈ ਜੀਵ (ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ) ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਤੂ ਜਾਣਹਿ ਸਭ ਬਿਧਿ ਆਪਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰਿਆ ॥੧॥
too jaaneh sabh biDh aap gurmukh nistaari-aa. ||1||
O’ God! You Yourself know all the ways, and You Yourself ferry beings across the world-ocean of vices by making them follow the Guru’s teachings. ||1||
ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਜੁਗਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਉਤੇ ਤੋਰ ਕੇ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੧॥

Dakhanay, Fifth Guru:
ਜੇ ਤੂ ਮਿਤ੍ਰੁ ਅਸਾਡੜਾ ਹਿਕ ਭੋਰੀ ਨਾ ਵੇਛੋੜਿ ॥
jay too mitar asaadrhaa hik bhoree naa vaychhorh.
O’ God! if You are my friend, then do not separate me from Yourself even for an instant.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਹੈਂ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਰਤਾ ਭਰ ਭੀ (ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ) ਨਾਹ ਵਿਛੋੜ।
ਜੀਉ ਮਹਿੰਜਾ ਤਉ ਮੋਹਿਆ ਕਦਿ ਪਸੀ ਜਾਨੀ ਤੋਹਿ ॥੧॥
jee-o mahinjaa ta-o mohi-aa kad pasee jaanee tohi. ||1||
You have captivated my mind, when will I see You, O’ my Love? ||1||
ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਤੂੰ ਮੋਹ ਲਈ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ! ਮੈਂ ਕਦੋਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਾਂਗਾ ॥੧॥

Fifth Guru:
ਦੁਰਜਨ ਤੂ ਜਲੁ ਭਾਹੜੀ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਹਿ ॥
durjan too jal bhaahrhee vichhorhay mar jaahi.
O’ evil thoughts, may you burn in fire; O’ sense of separation from God, may you die.
ਹੇ ਦੁਰਜਨ! ਤੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਵਿਚ ਸੜ ਜਾ, ਹੇ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ! ਤੂੰ ਮਰ ਜਾ।
ਕੰਤਾ ਤੂ ਸਉ ਸੇਜੜੀ ਮੈਡਾ ਹਭੋ ਦੁਖੁ ਉਲਾਹਿ ॥੨॥
kantaa too sa-o sayjrhee maidaa habho dukh ulaahi. ||2||
O’ my Husband-God, stay in my heart and eradicate all my sufferings. ||2||
ਹੇ (ਮੇਰੇ) ਕੰਤ! ਤੂੰ (ਮੇਰੀ ਹਿਰਦਾ-) ਸੇਜ ਉਤੇ (ਆ ਕੇ) ਸੌਂ ਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇ ॥੨॥

Fifth Guru:
ਦੁਰਜਨੁ ਦੂਜਾ ਭਾਉ ਹੈ ਵੇਛੋੜਾ ਹਉਮੈ ਰੋਗੁ ॥
durjan doojaa bhaa-o hai vaychhorhaa ha-umai rog.
The love for duality (materialism) is like an evil person, the malady of ego is the cause of separation from God.
ਦਵੈਤ-ਭਾਵ ਖੋਟੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੈ, ਹਉਮੈ ਦਾ ਰੋਗ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਿਛੋੜਾ ਪਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਜਣੁ ਸਚਾ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੁ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਿਲਿ ਕੀਚੈ ਭੋਗੁ ॥੩॥
Sajan Sachaa Paathisaahu Jis Mil Keechai Bhog ||3||
The eternal God, the sovereign king, is a true friend meeting whom one enjoys the spiritual bliss. ||3||
ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ (ਜਿੰਦ ਦਾ) ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ (ਆਤਮਕ) ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥

ਤੂ ਅਗਮ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਬੇਅੰਤੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਹੈ ਕਉਣੁ ॥
too agam da-i-aal bay-ant tayree keemat kahai ka-un.
O’ God! You are inaccessible, merciful and infinite, who can estimate Your worth?
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਹੈਂ ਦਇਆਲ ਤੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੈਂ, ਤੇਰਾ ਮੁੱਲ ਕੌਣ ਪਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?
ਤੁਧੁ ਸਿਰਜਿਆ ਸਭੁ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ਤੂ ਨਾਇਕੁ ਸਗਲ ਭਉਣ ॥
tuDh sirji-aa sabh sansaar too naa-ik sagal bha-un.
You created the entire universe; You are the Master of all the worlds.
ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਵਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ।
ਤੇਰੀ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਜਾਣੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਸਗਲ ਰਉਣ ॥
tayree kudrat ko-ay na jaanai mayray thaakur sagal ra-un.
O’ my all-pervading Master-God, no one knows about Your power.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਮਾਲਕ! ਕੋਈ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ।
ਤੁਧੁ ਅਪੜਿ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਸਕੈ ਤੂ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਜਗ ਉਧਰਣ ॥
tuDh aparh ko-ay na sakai too abhinaasee jag uDhran.
O’ the imperishable savior of the entire world, no one can equal You.
ਹੇ ਜਗਤ ਉੱਧਾਰਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਕੋਈ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ।
