Swaiyas In Praise Of The Second Guru:
ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ik-oNkaar satgur parsaad.
One eternal Creator-God, realized by the grace of the True Guru:
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸੋਈ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਕਰਤਾਰੁ ਕਰਣ ਸਮਰਥੋ ॥
so-ee purakh Dhan kartaa kaaran kartaar karan samratho.
Beyond praise is the all-pervading Creator-God who is the root source and creator of the universe and is all powerful.
ਧੰਨ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹਰੀ, ਜੋ ਇਸ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ, ਸਿਰਜਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਧੰਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਤੁਮ ਧਰਿਓ ਜਿਨਿ ਹਥੋ ॥
satguroo Dhan naanak mastak tum Dhari-o jin hatho.
(O’ Guru Angad), praiseworthy is Guru Nanak, the true Guru, who blessed you by placing his hand on your forehead.
( ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ!) ਧੰਨ ਹੈ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ (ਆਪਣਾ) ਹੱਥ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਤ ਧਰਿਓ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਹਥੁ ਸਹਜਿ ਅਮਿਉ ਵੁਠਉ ਛਜਿ ਸੁਰਿ ਨਰ ਗਣ ਮੁਨਿ ਬੋਹਿਯ ਅਗਾਜਿ ॥
ta Dhari-o mastak hath sahj ami-o vuth-o chhaj sur nar gan mun bohiy agaaj.
When Guru Nanak placed his gracious hand on your forehead, intuitively the ambrosial nectar of Naam began to rain down in torrents; the angels, men and sages were obviously drenched in its fragrance.
ਜਦੋਂ (ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ) ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਤਦੋਂ ਸਹਿਜੇ ਹੀ (ਤੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ) ਨਾਮ-ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਛਹਬਰ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਵੱਸ ਪਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਵਤੇ, ਮਨੁੱਖ, ਗਣ ਤੇ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਮੁਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੱਖ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਭਿੱਜ ਗਏ।
ਮਾਰਿਓ ਕੰਟਕੁ ਕਾਲੁ ਗਰਜਿ ਧਾਵਤੁ ਲੀਓ ਬਰਜਿ ਪੰਚ ਭੂਤ ਏਕ ਘਰਿ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੇ ਸਮਜਿ ॥
maari-o kantak kaal garaj Dhaavat lee-o baraj panch bhoot ayk ghar raakh lay samaj.
Showing your spiritual might, you destroyed the agonizing fear of death: you restrained Your wandering mind, and controlled the five vices (lust, anger, greed, attachment, and ego) by keeping them at one place.
ਤੂੰ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਕਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਲ ਵਿਖਾ ਕੇ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਭਟਕਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕ ਲਿਆ, ਤੇ ਕਾਮਾਦਿਕ ਪੰਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਥਾਂ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
ਜਗੁ ਜੀਤਉ ਗੁਰ ਦੁਆਰਿ ਖੇਲਹਿ ਸਮਤ ਸਾਰਿ ਰਥੁ ਉਨਮਨਿ ਲਿਵ ਰਾਖਿ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰਿ ॥
jag jeeta-o gur du-aar khayleh samat saar rath unman liv raakh nirankaar.
By seeking the refuge of the Guru you have won over the world, you play the game of equality by considering everyone as equal and you remain totally delighted because of your steady flow of love with the formless God.
ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ!) ਗੁਰੂ (ਨਾਨਕ) ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਸਮਤਾ ਦੀ ਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਖੇਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ; (ਭਾਵ, ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਇੱਕ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ)। ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਲਿਵ ਰੱਖਣ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਹ ਪੂਰਨ ਖਿੜਾਉ ਦੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਹੁ ਕੀਰਤਿ ਕਲ ਸਹਾਰ ਸਪਤ ਦੀਪ ਮਝਾਰ ਲਹਣਾ ਜਗਤ੍ਰ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਰਸਿ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ॥੧॥
kaho keerat kal sahaar sapat deep majhaar lahnaa jagtar gur paras muraar. ||1||
O’ Kalsahar! say, the glory of Lehna (Guru Angad) has spread throughout the seven continents by meeting and following the teachings of Guru Nanak, the Guru of the world and the embodiment of God. ||1||
ਹੇ ਕਲਸਹਾਰ! ਆਖ- ਹਰੀ-ਰੂਪ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਸ ਕੇ ਲਹਣੇ (ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ) ਦੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਫੈਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਜਾ ਕੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਧਾਰ ਕਾਲੁਖ ਖਨਿ ਉਤਾਰ ਤਿਮਰ ਅਗ੍ਯ੍ਯਾਨ ਜਾਹਿ ਦਰਸ ਦੁਆਰ ॥
jaa kee darisat amrit Dhaar kaalukh khan utaar timar ag-yaan jaahi daras du-aar.
Whose (Guru Angad Dev’s) sight rains the ambrosial nectar of Naam and washes off and removes the filth of sins; the sight of his door (his teachings) dispels the darkness of ignorance.
ਜਿਸ (ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ) ਦੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵਸਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ, (ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੀ) ਕਾਲਖ ਪੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਅਗਿਆਨ ਆਦਿਕ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਓਇ ਜੁ ਸੇਵਹਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਸਾਰੁ ਗਾਖੜੀ ਬਿਖਮ ਕਾਰ ਤੇ ਨਰ ਭਵ ਉਤਾਰਿ ਕੀਏ ਨਿਰਭਾਰ ॥
o-ay jo sayveh sabad saar gaakh-rhee bikham kaar tay nar bhav utaar kee-ay nirbhaar.
Those who accomplish the most difficult task of following his sublime word, by ferrying them across the world-ocean of vices, the true Guru has removed the load of sins from their heads (has emancipated them).
ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਜਪਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ (ਇਹ) ਔਖੀ ਤੇ ਬਿਖੜੀ ਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਾਗਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਕੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਸਹਜ ਸਾਰਿ ਜਾਗੀਲੇ ਗੁਰ ਬੀਚਾਰਿ ਨਿੰਮਰੀ ਭੂਤ ਸਦੀਵ ਪਰਮ ਪਿਆਰਿ ॥
satsangat sahj saar jaageelay gur beechaar nimmree bhoot sadeev param pi-aar.
By reflecting on the Guru’s word in the company of saintly persons, they attain spiritual poise, become spiritually awakened, and live in a state of humility and supreme love.
ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਸਤਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਸਹਜ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਦੱਸੀ ਹੋਈ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ) ਜਾਗ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ; ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਨਿੰਮ੍ਰਤਾ ਤੇ ਪਰਮ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਹੇ ਕਲ੍ਸਹਾਰ! ਆਖ- ਮੁਰਾਰੀ-ਰੂਪ ਜਗਤ-ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਸ ਕੇ ਲਹਣੇ (ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ) ਦੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਦੀਪਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਫੈਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਤੈ ਤਉ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਿਓ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ਬਿਮਲ ਜਾਸੁ ਬਿਥਾਰੁ ਸਾਧਿਕ ਸਿਧ ਸੁਜਨ ਜੀਆ ਕੋ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥
tai ta-o darirha-o naam apaar bimal jaas bithaar saaDhik siDh sujan jee-aa ko aDhaar.
(O’ Guru Angad Dev), you have enshrined in your heart the Name of the infinite God; Your immaculate glory is spread all over and you are the support of the life of seekers, adepts, and pious persons.
(ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ!) ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ (ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੇ) ਅਪਾਰ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਤੇਰੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸੋਭਾ ਖਿੱਲਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਤੂੰ ਸਾਧਿਕ ਸਿੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਹੈਂ।
ਤੂ ਤਾ ਜਨਿਕ ਰਾਜਾ ਅਉਤਾਰੁ ਸਬਦੁ ਸੰਸਾਰਿ ਸਾਰੁ ਰਹਹਿ ਜਗਤ੍ਰ ਜਲ ਪਦਮ ਬੀਚਾਰ ॥
too taa janik raajaa a-utaar sabad sansaar saar raheh jagtar jal padam beechaar.
You are the incarnation of king Janak, the reflection on your word is the most sublime in the world and you live detached from the world like a lotus in water.
(ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ!) ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ (ਨਿਰਲੇਪਤਾ ਵਿਚ) ਰਾਜਾ ਜਨਕ ਦਾ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਹੈਂ (ਭਾਵ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਰਾਜਾ ਜਨਕ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ)। ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ (ਤੇਰਾ) ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਇਉਂ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ; ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੌਲ ਫੁੱਲ ਜਲ ਵਿਚ।
ਕਲਿਪ ਤਰੁ ਰੋਗ ਬਿਦਾਰੁ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਤਾਪ ਨਿਵਾਰੁ ਆਤਮਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਬਿਧਿ ਤੇਰੈ ਏਕ ਲਿਵ ਤਾਰ ॥
kalip tar rog bidaar sansaar taap nivaar aatmaa taribaDh tayrai ayk liv taar.
O’ Guru Angad), you are like the mythical kalap tree, you are the destroyer of afflictions and sufferings; people abiding by the three modes of Maya are focused on you.
(ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ!) ਤੂੰ ਕਲਪ ਰੁੱਖ ਹੈਂ, ਰੋਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਵਿਰਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ। ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰੇ (ਚਰਨਾਂ) ਵਿਚ ਇੱਕ-ਰਸ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈ ਬੈਠੇ ਹਨ।

ਤੈ ਤਾ ਹਦਰਥਿ ਪਾਇਓ ਮਾਨੁ ਸੇਵਿਆ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਰਵਾਨੁ ਸਾਧਿ ਅਜਗਰੁ ਜਿਨਿ ਕੀਆ ਉਨਮਾਨੁ ॥
tai taa hadrath paa-i-o maan sayvi-aa gur parvaan saaDh ajgar jin kee-aa unmaan.
(O’ Guru Angad) you have received honor from the venerable Guru Nanak, and have served the approved Guru who by disciplining your cobra like mind has raised it to a higher spiritual state.
ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ!) ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ-ਨਾਨਕ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮਾਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ; ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਣੀਕ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਨੂੰ ਸੇਵਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਪ ਵਰਗੇ ਅਸਾਧ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਧ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ,
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸ ਸਮਾਨ ਆਤਮਾ ਵੰਤਗਿਆਨ ਜਾਣੀਅ ਅਕਲ ਗਤਿ ਗੁਰ ਪਰਵਾਨ ॥
har har daras samaan aatmaa vantgi-aan jaanee-a akal gat gur parvaan.
(O’ Guru Angad), you have understood the higher spiritual state of that Guru whose sight is like the sight of God, and who is divinely wise, approved and is the embodiment of God;
(ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ!) ਜਿਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ-ਸਮਾਨ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਆਤਮ-ਗਿਆਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਣੀਕ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਗੁਰੂ (ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ) ਦੀ ਉੱਚੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਸਮਝ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
ਜਾ ਕੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਅਚਲ ਠਾਣ ਬਿਮਲ ਬੁਧਿ ਸੁਥਾਨ ਪਹਿਰਿ ਸੀਲ ਸਨਾਹੁ ਸਕਤਿ ਬਿਦਾਰਿ ॥
jaa kee darisat achal thaan bimal buDh suthaan pahir seel sanaahu sakat bidaar.
whose sight is fixed on the eternal abode of God, whose immaculate intellect is attached to the sublime place, and has destroyed the influence of materialism by wearing the armor of humility.
ਜਿਸ (ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ) ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਅਚੱਲ ਟਿਕਾਣੇ ਤੇ (ਟਿਕੀ ਹੋਈ) ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਲੱਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਨੇ ਨਿੰਮ੍ਰਤਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੁਭਾਉ ਦਾ ਸੰਨਾਹ ਪਹਿਨ ਕੇ ਮਾਇਆ (ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ) ਨੂੰ ਨਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਧਰਤ ਤਮ ਹਰਨ ਦਹਨ ਅਘ ਪਾਪ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਸਨ ॥
darisat Dharat tam haran dahan agh paap parnaasan.
(O’ Guru Angad Dev), bestowing your gracious glance, you dispel the darkness of ignorance; you are the destroyer of sins and annihilator of evils.
(ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ!) ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਤੂੰ ਅਗਿਆਨ-ਰੂਪ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ; ਤੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਸਾੜਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।
ਸਬਦ ਸੂਰ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਕਾਮ ਅਰੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਬਿਨਾਸਨ ॥
sabad soor balvant kaam ar kroDh binaasan.
You are a man of your word and destroyer of lust and anger.
ਤੂੰ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਹੈਂ ਤੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਹੈਂ, ਕਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
ਲੋਭ ਮੋਹ ਵਸਿ ਕਰਣ ਸਰਣ ਜਾਚਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਣ ॥
lobh moh vas karan saran jaachik partipaalan.
You have overpowered greed and emotional attachment; you nurture and cherish those beggars who seek your refuge.
ਤੂੰ ਲੋਭ ਤੇ ਮੋਹ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਬੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਸਰਨ ਆਏ ਮੰਗਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਪਾਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ,
ਆਤਮ ਰਤ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਣ ਕਹਣ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਕਲ ਢਾਲਣ ॥
aatam rat sangar-han kahan amrit kal dhaalan.
You have amassed spiritual love, and your beautiful words are like the fountains of ambrosial nectar.
ਤੂੰ ਆਤਮਕ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਤੇਰੇ ਬਚਨ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਚਸ਼ਮੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਕਲ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਤਿਲਕੁ ਸਤਿ ਲਾਗੈ ਸੋ ਪੈ ਤਰੈ ॥
satguroo kal satgur tilak sat laagai so pai tarai.
O’ Kall, the true Guru (Angad Dev) has been anointed by the true Guru (Nanak Dev) and whoever is truly attached to You is carried across.
ਹੇ ਕਲ੍ਯ੍ਸਹਾਰ! ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ (ਅੰਗਦ ਦੇਵ) ਸ਼ਿਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਰਧਾ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਤਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਗੁਰੁ ਜਗਤ ਫਿਰਣਸੀਹ ਅੰਗਰਉ ਰਾਜੁ ਜੋਗੁ ਲਹਣਾ ਕਰੈ ॥੫॥
gur jagat firanseeh angara-o raaj jog lahnaa karai. ||5||

ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਗੁਰੂ, ਬਾਬਾ ਫੇਰੂ (ਜੀ) ਦਾ ਸੁਪੁੱਤ੍ਰ ਲਹਿਣਾ ਜੀ (ਗੁਰੂ) ਅੰਗਦ ਰਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਜੋਗ ਮਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੫॥
