ਸਰਮ ਖੰਡ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਰੂਪੁ ॥

The Realm of Spiritual Effort is where the mind begins to be shaped and beautified through discipline, transforming one's inner being.
ਉੱਦਮ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਬਨਾਵਟ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਹੈ. ਇਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਮਨ ਦਿਨੋ ਦਿਨ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਬਣਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ)।
ਤਿਥੈ ਘਾੜਤਿ ਘੜੀਐ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਅਨੂਪੁ ॥
tithai ghaarhat gharhee-ai bahut anoop.
In this stage, the mind is shaped into an exceptionally beautiful form, a process of inner refinement.
ਇਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ (ਨਵੀਂ) ਘਾੜਤ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਘੜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਤਾ ਕੀਆ ਗਲਾ ਕਥੀਆ ਨਾ ਜਾਹਿ ॥ ਜੇ ਕੋ ਕਹੈ ਪਿਛੈ ਪਛੁਤਾਇ ॥
taa kee-aa galaa kathee-aa naa jaahi. jay ko kahai pichhai pachhutaa-ay.
The spiritual experience is inexpressible; if someone tries to describe it with words, they will later regret it, as no words can do it justice.
ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ।ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਪਛੁਤਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ
ਤਿਥੈ ਘੜੀਐ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਮਤਿ ਮਨਿ ਬੁਧਿ ॥
tithai gharhee-ai surat mat man buDh.
In that realm of spiritual effort, consciousness, wisdom, mind, and intellect are refined and shaped by the Divine.
ਉਸ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਸੁਰਤ ਤੇ ਮਤ ਘੜੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ l
ਤਿਥੈ ਘੜੀਐ ਸੁਰਾ ਸਿਧਾ ਕੀ ਸੁਧਿ ॥੩੬॥
tithai gharhee-ai suraa siDhaa kee suDh. ||36||
In that realm, a person’s consciousness is shaped, attaining the wisdom of divine beings and spiritually perfected souls.
ਸਰਮ ਖੰਡ ਵਿਚ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਸਿੱਧਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਕਲ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ l
ਕਰਮ ਖੰਡ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਜੋਰੁ ॥
karam khand kee banee jor.
The Realm of Grace is where spiritual power becomes a part of one's being, as they receive the blessings of Divine.
ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਬਨਾਵਟ ਆਤਮਕ ਬਲ ਹੈ, (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ),
ਤਿਥੈ ਹੋਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰੁ ॥
tithai hor na ko-ee hor.
In that realm, no one else exists. One is completely in the presence of Divine alone, without any other distractions.
ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ (ਹੇਠਾ ਦੱਸਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਦੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਹੋਰ ) ਕੋਈ ਦੂਜਾ ਉੱਕਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ।
ਤਿਥੈ ਜੋਧ ਮਹਾਬਲ ਸੂਰ ॥
tithai joDh mahaabal soor.
In that realm, souls become true spiritual warriors, possessing immense strength and courage to fight inner vices.
ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ(ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹਨ ਉਹ) ਜੋਧੇ, ਮਹਾਂਬਲੀ ਤੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਹਨ।
ਤਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਰਾਮੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰ ॥
tin meh raam rahi-aa bharpoor.
Within those spiritual warriors, Divine's presence is completely pervasive, filling their every fiber with divine strength and righteousness. This is the ultimate spiritual state.
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੋਮ ਰੋਮ ਵਿਚ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਤਿਥੈ ਸੀਤੋ ਸੀਤਾ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
tithai seeto seetaa mahimaa maahi.
In that state, the soul is completely woven into Divine's praises and majesty, fully absorbed in His glory.
ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਅੱਪੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਨਿਰੋਲ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਵਿਚ ਪਰੋਤਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਤਾ ਕੇ ਰੂਪ ਨ ਕਥਨੇ ਜਾਹਿ ॥
taa kay roop na kathnay jaahi.
The divine forms of those enlightened souls are indescribable, their faces radiating a beauty that cannot be expressed.
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਰਣਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਨੂਰ ਹੀ ਨੂਰ ਲਿਸ਼ਕਦਾ ਹੈ)।
ਨਾ ਓਹਿ ਮਰਹਿ ਨ ਠਾਗੇ ਜਾਹਿ ॥ ਜਿਨ ਕੈ ਰਾਮੁ ਵਸੈ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
naa ohi mareh na thaagay jaahi. jin kai raam vasai man maahi.
Those with the Divine within their minds do not spiritually perish nor can they be deceived by worldly attachments.
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਰਦੇ ਤੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੱਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀ l
ਤਿਥੈ ਭਗਤ ਵਸਹਿ ਕੇ ਲੋਅ ॥
tithai bhagat vaseh kay lo-a.
In that divine realm, devotees from countless worlds and spiritual planes reside, all in union with Divine and each other
ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਕਈ ਭਵਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਗਤ ਜਨ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ,
ਕਰਹਿ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਸਚਾ ਮਨਿ ਸੋਇ ॥
karahi anand sachaa man so-ay.
They experience the eternal joy because Divine always dwells in their minds.
ਜੋ ਸਦਾ ਖਿੜੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਉਹ ਸੱਚਾ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ (ਮੌਜੂਦ) ਹੈ।
ਸਚ ਖੰਡਿ ਵਸੈ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ॥
sach khand vasai nirankaar.
The Realm of Truth is the stage of union with Divine, in this stage the formless Divine dwells in the heart of the devotee a state of complete spiritual union.
ਸੱਚ ਖੰਡ ਵਿਚ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਹ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਨਦਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥
kar kar vaykhai nadar nihaal.
Having created, the merciful Divine bestows gracious glance and takes care of His creation.
ਜੋ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਰਚ ਰਚ ਕੇ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਤਿਥੈ ਖੰਡ ਮੰਡਲ ਵਰਭੰਡ ॥
tithai khand mandal varbhand.
In that state of union with Divine, one perceives the countless realms, worlds, and universes created by the Divine.
ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਖੰਡ, ਮੰਡਲ ਤੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮੰਡ ਦਿੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ l
ਜੇ ਕੋ ਕਥੈ ਤ ਅੰਤ ਨ ਅੰਤ ॥
jay ko kathai ta ant na ant.
If anyone attempts to describe 's endless creation, they will find there is no end to it. The Divine's vastness is beyond human comprehension.
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਕਥਨ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਓੜਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈ ਸਕਦੇ।
ਤਿਥੈ ਲੋਅ ਲੋਅ ਆਕਾਰ ॥
tithai lo-a lo-a aakaar.
In that divine realm, one perceives endless worlds and creations, all manifestations of the Formless Creator.
ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਭਵਣ ਤੇ ਅਕਾਰ ਦਿੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ,
ਜਿਵ ਜਿਵ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਤਿਵੈ ਤਿਵ ਕਾਰ ॥
jiv jiv hukam tivai tiv kaar.
One realizes that everything functions as He commands.
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਾਰ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ
ਵੇਖੈ ਵਿਗਸੈ ਕਰਿ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ॥
vaykhai vigsai kar veechaar.
Divine creates, observes, and sustains all with a thoughtful, joyous glance. He is content in His creation.
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਵੀਚਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ (ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ) ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਕਥਨਾ ਕਰੜਾ ਸਾਰੁ ॥੩੭॥
naanak kathnaa karrhaa saar. ||37||
O’ Nanak, describing this state of spiritual union is as difficult as chewing iron.
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਇਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਕਥਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਔਖਾ ਹੈl
ਜਤੁ ਪਾਹਾਰਾ ਧੀਰਜੁ ਸੁਨਿਆਰੁ ॥
jat paahaaraa Dheeraj suni-aar.
Taking the example of a goldsmith to describe how one can embark upon the task of spiritual enlightenment; let chastity be the shop, patience the goldsmith,
ਜੇ ਜਤ-ਰੂਪ ਦੁਕਾਨ ਹੋਵੇ, ਧੀਰਜ ਸੁਨਿਆਰਾ ਬਣੇ,
ਅਹਰਣਿ ਮਤਿ ਵੇਦੁ ਹਥੀਆਰੁ ॥
ahran mat vayd hathee-aar.
intellect the anvil and spiritual wisdom, the hammer.
ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੱਤ ਅਹਿਰਣ ਹੋਵੇ, (ਉਸ ਮਤ-ਅਹਿਰਣ ਉੱਤੇ) ਗਿਆਨ ਹਥੌੜਾ (ਵੱਜੇ)।
ਭਉ ਖਲਾ ਅਗਨਿ ਤਪ ਤਾਉ ॥
bha-o khalaa agan tap taa-o.
The fear of Divine as the bellows and disciplined hard work as the fire.Make the divine reverence your bellows and spiritual discipline your fire. Use them to forge your soul.
(ਜੇ) ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਧੌਂਕਣੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਘਾਲ-ਕਮਾਈ ਅੱਗ ਹੋਵੇ,
ਭਾਂਡਾ ਭਾਉ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਤਿਤੁ ਢਾਲਿ ॥
bhaaNdaa bhaa-o amrit tit dhaal.
Make love your vessel and pour the nectar of Divine's name into it. This signifies that love and devotion are essential for receiving and absorbing the divine essence.
ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕੁਠਾਲੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ (ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਉਸ (ਕੁਠਾਲੀ) ਵਿਚ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮ ਗਲਾਵੋ।
ਘੜੀਐ ਸਬਦੁ ਸਚੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ॥
gharhee-ai sabad sachee taksaal.
This is the true spiritual mint where the Divine’s Name is forged. Through this process, one becomes spiritually enlightened and transforms their soul.
ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਹੀ ਸੱਚੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਘੜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰਮੁ ਤਿਨ ਕਾਰ ॥
jin ka-o nadar karam tin kaar.
This spiritual work is accomplished by those on whom Divine has cast his gracious glance. It is through His divine grace that we can truly begin to understand and transform ourselves.
ਇਹ ਕਾਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਦਰੀ ਨਦਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੩੮॥
naanak nadree nadar nihaal. ||38||
O’ Nanak, through Divine's gracious and compassionate glance, one is blessed and completely fulfilled with bliss.
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ-ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨl

ਪਵਣੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਣੀ ਪਿਤਾ ਮਾਤਾ ਧਰਤਿ ਮਹਤੁ ॥
pavan guroo paanee pitaa maataa Dharat mahat.
Air is as essential for the body as is the Guru for the soul, water is like the father and earth is like the great mother of the entire world.
ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਇਉਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਪਾਣੀ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿਉ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਸਭ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਮਾਂ ਹੈ।
ਦਿਵਸੁ ਰਾਤਿ ਦੁਇ ਦਾਈ ਦਾਇਆ ਖੇਲੈ ਸਗਲ ਜਗਤੁ ॥
divas raat du-ay daa-ee daa-i-aa khaylai sagal jagat.
Days and nights are like male and female nurses in whose lap the entire world is playing the role assigned to each one in the worldly play.
ਦਿਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਖਿਡਾਵਾ ਤੇ ਖਿਡਾਵੀ ਹਨ, ਸਾਰਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਖੇਡ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ l
ਚੰਗਿਆਈਆ ਬੁਰਿਆਈਆ ਵਾਚੈ ਧਰਮੁ ਹਦੂਰਿ ॥
chang-aa-ee-aa buri-aa-ee-aa vaachai Dharam hadoor.
The Divine as Righteous Judge, watches human beings’ good and bad deeds.
ਧਰਮਰਾਜ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ) ਚੰਗੇ ਤੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਚਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਰਮੀ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੇ ਨੇੜੈ ਕੇ ਦੂਰਿ ॥
karmee aapo aapnee kay nayrhai kay door.
According to their own deeds, some are drawn closer and some are driven farther away from Divine.
ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕਈ ਜੀਵ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ
ਜਿਨੀ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਗਏ ਮਸਕਤਿ ਘਾਲਿ ॥
jinee naam Dhi-aa-i-aa ga-ay maskat ghaal.
Those who remember the Divine and work hard on the spiritual path, departed from this world achieveing inner bliss and fulfillment.
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਸਫਲੀ ਕਰ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇ ਮੁਖ ਉਜਲੇ ਕੇਤੀ ਛੁਟੀ ਨਾਲਿ ॥੧॥
naanak tay mukh ujlay kaytee chhutee naal. ||1||
O’ Nanak, their faces are radiant, and in their company, many are liberated from worldly bonds.
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੇ ਦਰ ‘ਤੇ ਉਹ ਉੱਜਲ ਮੁਖ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਭੀ ਕਈ ਜੀਵ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਬੰਧਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ l
ਸੋ ਦਰੁ ਰਾਗੁ ਆਸਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੧

So Dar~ that door, Raag Aasaa. First Guru:
ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ik-oNkaar satgur parsaad.
One eternal Divine, realized by the grace of the true Guru:
ਸੋ ਦਰੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਕੇਹਾ ਸੋ ਘਰੁ ਕੇਹਾ ਜਿਤੁ ਬਹਿ ਸਰਬ ਸਮਾਲੇ ॥
so dar tayraa kayhaa so ghar kayhaa jit bahi sarab samaalay.
O’ Divine, how magnificent the infinite and wondrous nature of Your presence. How You watch over and care for all of creation.
ਉਹ ਘਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ ਬੜਾ ਹੀ ਅਸਚਰਜ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ।.
ਵਾਜੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਦ ਅਨੇਕ ਅਸੰਖਾ ਕੇਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਾਵਣਹਾਰੇ ॥
vaajay tayray naad anayk asankhaa kaytay tayray vaavanhaaray.
Your divine melody plays in countless forms and sounds throughout creation, with innumerable beings singing your praises in love.
ਤੇਰੀ ਇਸ ਰਚੀ ਹੋਈ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਵਿਚ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਵਾਜੇ ਤੇ ਰਾਗ ਹਨ; ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੀ ਜੀਵ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ) ਵਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ।
ਕੇਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਗ ਪਰੀ ਸਿਉ ਕਹੀਅਹਿ ਕੇਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਗਾਵਣਹਾਰੇ ॥
kaytay tayray raag paree si-o kahee-ahi kaytay tayray gaavanhaaray.
Your divine praises are sung through countless melodies and harmonies. The entire creation, in its myriad forms, and all beings are the singers of Your infinite glory.
ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਹੀ ਜੀਵ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਰਾਗ-ਰਾਗਣੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਗਾਵਨਿ ਤੁਧਨੋ ਪਵਣੁ ਪਾਣੀ ਬੈਸੰਤਰੁ ਗਾਵੈ ਰਾਜਾ ਧਰਮੁ ਦੁਆਰੇ ॥

The wind, water, and fire all sing Your praises, as does all the powers, showing all creation is in perfect harmony with Your will.
ਹਵਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਅੱਗ (ਆਦਿਕ ਤੱਤ) ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ (ਤੇਰੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ)। ਧਰਮ ਰਾਜ (ਤੇਰੇ) ਦਰ ਤੇ (ਖਲੋ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ) ਗਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਗਾਵਨਿ ਤੁਧਨੋ ਚਿਤੁ ਗੁਪਤੁ ਲਿਖਿ ਜਾਣਨਿ ਲਿਖਿ ਲਿਖਿ ਧਰਮੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੇ ॥
gaavan tuDhno chit gupat likh jaanan likh likh Dharam beechaaray.
This signifies that the very laws of justice are under Divine’s command. The entire cosmic system of accountability and consequence is a beautiful, harmonious part of the Divine order
ਉਹ ਚਿੱਤਰ ਗੁਪਤ ਭੀ ਜੋ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੇਖੇ) ਲਿਖਣੇ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਿਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਧਰਮ ਰਾਜ ਵਿਚਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

O’ Divine, countless Indras, enthroned with celestial beings, sing Your praises, their glory only a reflection of Your Eternal Majesty.
ਕਈ ਇੰਦਰ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ l
