ਇਕ ਓਟ ਕੀਜੈ ਜੀਉ ਦੀਜੈ ਆਸ ਇਕ ਧਰਣੀਧਰੈ ॥
ik ot keejai jee-o deejai aas ik DharneeDharai.
We should seek only the support of God, surrender our mind to Him, and pin one’s hope on Him who is the supporter of the universe.
ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣਾ ਆਪ ਉਸਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਆਸ ਰੱਖਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਸਾਧਸੰਗੇ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਰੰਗੇ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਸਭੁ ਤਰੈ ॥
saaDhsangay har naam rangay sansaar saagar sabh tarai.
One who remains in the company of the Guru and is imbued with God’s Name, swims across the world-ocean of vices.
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਛੂਟੇ ਫਿਰਿ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਦਾਗੁ ਜੀਉ ॥
janam maran bikaar chhootay fir na laagai daag jee-o.
He gets freed from his committed sins, he is not stained with the dirt of sins again and his cycle of birth and death ends.
ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਗੇੜ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੁਕਰਮ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਮੁੜ ਕਦੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਾਗ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ।
ਬਲਿ ਜਾਇ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਪੁਰਖ ਪੂਰਨ ਥਿਰੁ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਸੋਹਾਗੁ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
bal jaa-ay naanak purakh pooran thir jaa kaa sohaag jee-o. ||3||
Nanak is dedicated to the all pervading and totally virtuous perfect God, eternal is the union with Him. ||3||
ਨਾਨਕ ਉਸ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ, ਸਰਬ-ਗੁਣ-ਭਰਪੂਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ (ਪਤੀ ਵਾਲਾ )ਸਹਾਰਾ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ॥੩॥

Shalok:
ਧਰਮ ਅਰਥ ਅਰੁ ਕਾਮ ਮੋਖ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਨਾਥ ॥
Dharam arath ar kaam mokh mukat padaarath naath.
God is the Master of (all the four boons of) faith, affluence, sexual pleasure, and salvation.
ਧਰਮ ਅਰਥ ਕਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਖ (ਚਾਰ ਉਤਮ ਦਾਤਾਂ ) ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਬਖਸਣਹਾਰ ਹੈ।
ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪੂਰਿਆ ਨਾਨਕ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਮਾਥ ॥੧॥
sagal manorath poori-aaa nanak likhi-aa maath. ||1|
O’ Nanak, the one in whose destiny it is so written all those objectives of that person are fulfilled. ||1||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੇਖ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥

ਸਗਲ ਇਛ ਮੇਰੀ ਪੁੰਨੀਆ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਰਾਇ ਜੀਉ ॥
sagal ichh mayree punnee-aa mili-aa niranjan raa-ay jee-o.
(Since the time), I have realized the immaculate God, the sovereign king; all my wishes have been fulfilled.
ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ (ਜਦੋਂ ਦਾ) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਰਾਦਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਅਨਦੁ ਭਇਆ ਵਡਭਾਗੀਹੋ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਇ ਜੀਉ ॥
anad bha-i-aa vadbhaageeho garihi pargatay parabh aa-ay jee-o.
O’ very fortunate ones; bliss has welled up within me because God has become manifest in my heart.
ਹੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਿਓ! ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਪੇਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਆ ਵੱਸੇ ਹਨ, ।
ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਲਾਲ ਆਏ ਪੁਰਬਿ ਕਮਾਏ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਕਿਆ ਗਣਾ ॥
garihi laal aa-ay purab kamaa-ay taa kee upmaa ki-aa ganaa.
My beloved God has become manifest in my heart because of my past deeds; what glorious greatness of God may I describe?
ਪੂਰਬਲੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ, ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਵੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ,ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਹੜੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਆਖਾਂ?
ਬੇਅੰਤ ਪੂਰਨ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਦਾਤਾ ਕਵਨ ਰਸਨਾ ਗੁਣ ਭਣਾ ॥
bay-ant pooran sukh sahj daataa kavan rasnaa gun bhanaa.
God is limitless, complete with all virtues, giver of celestial peace and poise; what praises of Him may I utter with my tongue?
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੈ, ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦੇ ਆਨੰਦ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੀਭ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਗੁਣ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਾਂ?
ਆਪੇ ਮਿਲਾਏ ਗਹਿ ਕੰਠਿ ਲਾਏ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨਾ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਇ ਜੀਉ ॥
aapay milaa-ay geh kanth laa-ay tis binaa nahee jaa-ay jee-o.
God Himself unites one with Him, as if He hugs that one to His bosom; except Him, there is no other support for me.
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗਲ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ (ਮੇਰਾ) ਸਹਾਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਬਲਿ ਜਾਇ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਦਾ ਕਰਤੇ ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੪॥
bal jaa-ay naanak sadaa kartay sabh meh rahi-aa samaa-ay jee-o. ||4||4||
Nanak is forever dedicated to the Creator who is pervading in all. ||4||4||
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੪॥

ran jhunjhnarhaa gaa-o sakhee har ayk Dhi-aavahu.
O’ my friends, lovingly meditate on God alone and sing the melodious song of His praises.
ਹੇ ਸਹੇਲੀਹੋ! ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਵੋl
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਤੁਮ ਸੇਵਿ ਸਖੀ ਮਨਿ ਚਿੰਦਿਅੜਾ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਵਹੁ ॥
satgur tum sayv sakhee man chindi-arhaa fal paavhu.
O’ my friend, follow the teachings of the true Guru and receive Naam, the fruit of your mind’s desires.
ਹੇ ਸਹੇਲੀਹੋ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਵੋ, ਮਨ-ਇੱਛਤ ਫਲ (ਨਾਮ) ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰੋ।

One eternal God, realized by the grace of the True Guru:
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਰਿ ਬੰਦਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਬਾਛਉ ਸਾਧਹ ਧੂਰਿ ॥
kar bandan parabh paarbarahm baachha-o saaDhah Dhoor.
Respectfully bowing before the supreme God, I humbly seek for the dust of the saint’s feet (the humble service of His saints).
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹਾਂ,
ਆਪੁ ਨਿਵਾਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਭਜਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥੧॥
aap nivaar har har bhaja-o naanak parabh bharpoor. ||1||
O’ Nanak, renouncing my ego I am meditating on the all pervading God. ||1||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਆਪਾ-ਭਾਵ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੧॥
ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਕਾਟਣ ਭੈ ਹਰਣ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ॥
kilvikh kaatan bhai haran sukh saagar har raa-ay.
God, the sovereign king, is the destroyer of sins, dispeller of fear and ocean of celestial peace;
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੱਟਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੇ ਡਰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ,
ਦੀਨ ਦਇਆਲ ਦੁਖ ਭੰਜਨੋ ਨਾਨਕ ਨੀਤ ਧਿਆਇ ॥੨॥
deen da-i-aal dukh bhanjno naanak neet Dhi-aa-ay. ||2||
He is merciful to the oppressed, the destroyer of sorrows: O’ Nanak, always remember Him with adoration. ||2||
ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, (ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਦੇ) ਦੁੱਖ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਰਹੁ ॥੨॥

ਜਸੁ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਵਡਭਾਗੀਹੋ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਜੀਉ ॥
jas gaavhu vadbhaageeho kar kirpaa bhagvant jee-o.
O’ the fortunate ones, may God bestow mercy upon you that you may lovingly sing His praises.
ਹੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਿਓ! ਭਗਵਾਨ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੇ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉ l
ਰੁਤੀ ਮਾਹ ਮੂਰਤ ਘੜੀ ਗੁਣ ਉਚਰਤ ਸੋਭਾਵੰਤ ਜੀਉ ॥
rutee maah moorat gharhee gun uchrat sobhaavant jee-o.
Blessed and auspicious are those seasons, months, time and moments, which are spent uttering God’s glorious Praises.
ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਰੁੱਤਾਂ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੁਹੂਰਤ, ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਘੜੀਆਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਉਚਾਰਦਿਆਂ ਬੀਤਣ, ਉਹ ਸਮੇ ਸੋਭਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਗੁਣ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ਧੰਨਿ ਤੇ ਜਨ ਜਿਨੀ ਇਕ ਮਨਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
gun rang raatay Dhan tay jan jinee ik man Dhi-aa-i-aa.
Blessed are those who remain imbued with love for God’s praise, and have meditated on Him with full concentration of their minds.
ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਬੰਦੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ-ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਕ-ਮਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ।
ਸਫਲ ਜਨਮੁ ਭਇਆ ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਜਿਨੀ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
safal janam bha-i-aa tin kaa jinee so parabh paa-i-aa.
Successful has become the human life of those who have realized God.
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਪੁੰਨ ਦਾਨ ਨ ਤੁਲਿ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਸਰਬ ਪਾਪਾ ਹੰਤ ਜੀਉ ॥
punn daan na tul kiri-aa har sarab paapaa hant jee-o.
No charity, alms, or any other righteous deed equals God’s Name, which is the destroyer of all sins.
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਦਾ ਨਾਮ) ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਕੋਈ ਪੁੰਨ-ਦਾਨ ਕੋਈ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਕਰਮ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।
ਬਿਨਵੰਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਜੀਵਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਰਹੰਤ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
binvant naanak simar jeevaa janam maran rahant jee-o. ||1||
Nanak submits, I spiritually rejuvenate by remembering God; the cycle of birth and death ends by remembering God. ||1||
ਨਾਨਕ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। (ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਨਾਲ) ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ (ਦੇ ਗੇੜ) ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥

ਉਦਮੁ ਅਗਮੁ ਅਗੋਚਰੋ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ॥
udam agam agocharo charan kamal namaskaar.
O’ God You are unperceivable, incomprehensible, and the embodiment of endeavor; I humbly bow to Your immaculate Name.
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਉੱਦਮ-ਸਰੂਪ ਹੈਂ (ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਚ ਰਤਾ ਭੀ ਆਲਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ), ਤੂੰ ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਹੈਂ, ਗਿਆਨ-ਇੰਦ੍ਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਤਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨਹੀਂ; ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
ਕਥਨੀ ਸਾ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵਸੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮ ਅਧਾਰ ॥੧॥
kathnee saa tuDh bhaavsee naanak naam aDhaar. ||1||
O’ God bless me that I may say only those words which pleases You, and let Your Name be the support of Nanak. ||1||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! (ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ) ਮੈਂ (ਸਦਾ) ਉਹ ਬੋਲ ਬੋਲਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗੇ। ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹੇ ॥੧॥
ਸੰਤ ਸਰਣਿ ਸਾਜਨ ਪਰਹੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਅਨੰਤ ॥
sant saran saajan parahu su-aamee simar anant.
O’ my friends, always remain in the refuge of the Guru-saint, and meditate on the infinite Master-God.
ਹੇ ਸੱਜਣੋ! ਗੁਰੂ-ਸੰਤ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਏ ਰਹੋ। (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ) ਬੇਅੰਤ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰ ਕੇ,
ਸੂਕੇ ਤੇ ਹਰਿਆ ਥੀਆ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਪਿ ਭਗਵੰਤ ॥੨॥
sookay tay hari-aa thee-aa naanak jap bhagvant. ||2||
O’ Nanak! even a spiritually dead person rejuvenates by meditating on God. ||2||
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਭਗਵਾਨ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਕੇ! (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਸੁੱਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਹਰਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥

ਰੁਤਿ ਸਰਸ ਬਸੰਤ ਮਾਹ ਚੇਤੁ ਵੈਸਾਖ ਸੁਖ ਮਾਸੁ ਜੀਉ ॥
rut saras basant maah chayt vaisaakh sukh maas jee-o.
(O’ my friends), delightful is the season of spring and pleasant are the months of Chait and Vaishakh for the one,
ਹੇ ਸੱਜਣੋ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਬਸੰਤ ਦੀ ਰੁਤ ਆਨੰਦ-ਦਾਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਲਈ ਚੇਤ ਅਤੇ ਵੈਸਾਖ ਦਾ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਸੁਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਨਾਹੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਮਉਲਿਆ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਸਾਸੁ ਜੀਉ ॥
har jee-o naahu mili-aa ma-oli-aa man tan saas jee-o.
who has realized the Master-God; his mind, body and every breath blossoms with happiness.
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਖਸਮ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ; ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਤਨ ਉਸ ਦਾ (ਹਰੇਕ) ਸਾਹ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਹਿਕ ਉਠਦਾ ਹੈ ।
ਘਰਿ ਨਾਹੁ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਅਨਦੁ ਸਖੀਏ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਪ੍ਰਫੁਲਿਆ ॥
ghar naahu nihchal anad sakhee-ay charan kamal parfuli-aa.
O’ dear friend, in whose heart manifests the immaculate Name of the eternal Master-God, that heart always remains in bliss.
ਹੇ ਸਹੇਲੀਏ! ਜਿਸ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਚਰਨ ਆ ਵੱਸਣ, ਉਸਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਸਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
