ਕਿਛੁ ਕਿਸੀ ਕੈ ਹਥਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਐਸੀ ਮੇਰੈ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਬੂਝ ਬੁਝਾਈ ॥
kichh kisee kai hath naahee mayray su-aamee aisee mayrai satgur boojh bujhaa-ee.
O’ my Master-God! nothing is in any body’s control, such an understanding has been imparted unto me by my true Guru.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਕਿਸੇ ਭੀ ਜੀਵ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਵੱਸ ਨਹੀਂ-ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸੂਝ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ।
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਆਸ ਤੂ ਜਾਣਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੇਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਈ ॥੪॥੧॥
jan naanak kee aas too jaaneh har darsan daykh har darsan tariptaa-ee. ||4||1||
O’ God! You know the desire of your devotee Nanak that he wants to get a glimpse of You; he can remain satiated only by getting Your blessed vision. ||4||1||
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! (ਆਪਣੇ) ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੀ (ਧਾਰੀ ਹੋਈ) ਆਸ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ (ਉਹ ਤਾਂਘ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾ ਮਨ) ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਨਾਲ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀਆਂ ਆਸਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ) ਰੱਜਿਆ ਰਹੇ ॥੪॥੧॥

Raag Gond, Fourth Guru:
ਐਸਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵੀਐ ਨਿਤ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਜੋ ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਸਭਿ ਕਰੇ ਬਿਨਾਸਾ ॥
aisaa har sayvee-ai nit Dhi-aa-ee-ai jo khin meh kilvikh sabh karay binaasaa.
O’ my mind! we should always worship and meditate on God, who can destroy all our sins and sorrows in an instant.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਜੇਹੜਾ ਹਰੀ ਇਕ ਖਿਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਦਾ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜੇ ਹਰਿ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਅਵਰ ਕੀ ਆਸ ਕੀਜੈ ਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਹਫਲ ਸਭ ਘਾਲ ਗਵਾਸਾ ॥
jay har ti-aag avar kee aas keejai taa har nihfal sabh ghaal gavaasaa.
If we abandon faith in God and place it in someone else, then God makes all that effort fruitless.
ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਜੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੀ (ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੀ) ਆਸ ਰੱਖੀਏ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਜੀਵ ਦੀ ਉਸ) ਸਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਮੇਹਨਤ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਫਲ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜ਼ਾਇਆ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਿਹੁ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜਿਸੁ ਸੇਵਿਐ ਸਭ ਭੁਖ ਲਹਾਸਾ ॥੧॥
mayray man har sayvihu sukh-daata su-aamee jis sayvi-ai sabh bhukh lahaasaa. ||1||
Therefore, O’ my mind, remember lovingly that bliss-giving Master-God; by remembering Him with love, all the craving for worldly desires vanishes.||1||
ਸੋ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰ, ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ-ਭੁੱਖ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਹਰਿ ਊਪਰਿ ਕੀਜੈ ਭਰਵਾਸਾ ॥
mayray man har oopar keejai bharvaasaa.
O’ my mind, we should always place full faith in God alone,
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! (ਸਦਾ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਉਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਜਹ ਜਾਈਐ ਤਹ ਨਾਲਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਅਪਨੀ ਪੈਜ ਰਖੈ ਜਨ ਦਾਸਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jah jaa-ee-ai tah naal mayraa su-aamee har apnee paij rakhai jan daasaa. ||1|| rahaa-o.
because wherever we go, my God is with us and He saves the honor of His devotees. ||1||Pause||
ਕਿਉਂਕਿ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਭੀ ਜਾਈਏ, ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਦਾ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ, ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਜੇ ਅਪਨੀ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਕਹਹੁ ਅਵਰਾ ਪਹਿ ਤਾ ਆਗੈ ਅਪਨੀ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਬਹੁ ਬਹੁਤੁ ਕਢਾਸਾ ॥
jay apnee birthaa kahhu avraa peh taa aagai apnee birthaa baho bahut kadhaasaa.
O’ brother! if you talk about your misery with others, then in return they would vent out their own greater sorrows.
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੋਈ ਦੁੱਖ-ਦਰਦ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ) ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਫਿਰੇਂਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਦੁੱਖ-ਦਰਦ ਸੁਣਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ।
ਅਪਨੀ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਕਹਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪਹਿ ਜੋ ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਰੇ ਦੂਖ ਤਤਕਾਲ ਕਟਾਸਾ ॥
apnee birthaa kahhu har apunay su-aamee peh jo tumHray dookh tatkaal kataasaa.
Therefore, you should tell about your sorrows to your Master-God who would dispel all your pains instantly.
ਆਪਣਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਦੁੱਖ-ਦਰਦ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਪਾਸ ਹੀ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰ, ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਤੁਰਤ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ ਰੱਖ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
ਸੋ ਐਸਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਅਪਨੀ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਅਵਰਾ ਪਹਿ ਕਹੀਐ ਅਵਰਾ ਪਹਿ ਕਹਿ ਮਨ ਲਾਜ ਮਰਾਸਾ ॥੨॥
so aisaa parabh chhod apnee birthaa avraa peh kahee-ai avraa peh kahi man laaj maraasaa. ||2||
O’ brother! if we forsake such God and tell our sorrows to somebody else; by saying to others, O’ my mind! we have to die of shame. ||2||
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜੇ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੀੜਾ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਇਗੀ, ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਪਾਸ ਆਖ ਕੇ, ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਜੋ ਸੰਸਾਰੈ ਕੇ ਕੁਟੰਬ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਭਾਈ ਦੀਸਹਿ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਸਭਿ ਅਪਨੈ ਸੁਆਇ ਮਿਲਾਸਾ ॥
jo sansaarai kay kutamb mitar bhaa-ee deeseh man mayray tay sabh apnai su-aa-ay milaasaa.
O’ my mind! all these family members, friends and brothers whom you see in this world, meet you for their own selfish ends.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਦੁਨੀਆ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਕ-ਅੰਗ, ਮਿੱਤਰ, ਭਰਾ ਜੇਹੜੇ ਭੀ ਦਿੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੀ ਗ਼ਰਜ਼ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਜਿਤੁ ਦਿਨਿ ਉਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਕਾ ਸੁਆਉ ਹੋਇ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਤਿਤੁ ਦਿਨਿ ਨੇੜੈ ਕੋ ਨ ਢੁਕਾਸਾ ॥
jit din unH kaa su-aa-o ho-ay na aavai tit din nayrhai ko na dhukaasaa.
The day their selfish purpose is not fulfilled, they don’t come near you.
ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਗ਼ਰਜ਼ ਪੂਰੀ ਨਾਹ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ, ਤਦੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੁੰਹਦਾ।
ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਅਪਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਿ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਜੋ ਤੁਧੁ ਉਪਕਰੈ ਦੂਖਿ ਸੁਖਾਸਾ ॥੩॥
man mayray apnaa har sayv din raatee jo tuDh upkarai dookh sukhaasaa. ||3||
Therefore, O’ my mind, day and night remember with love your God who would come to your aid, both in pleasure and pain. ||3||
ਸੋ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹੁ, ਉਹੀ ਹਰੇਕ ਦੁਖ ਸੁਖ ਵਿਚ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
ਤਿਸ ਕਾ ਭਰਵਾਸਾ ਕਿਉ ਕੀਜੈ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਜੋ ਅੰਤੀ ਅਉਸਰਿ ਰਖਿ ਨ ਸਕਾਸਾ ॥
tis kaa bharvaasaa ki-o keejai man mayray jo antee a-osar rakh na sakaasaa.
O’ my mind! why have trust in that person, who cannot rescue us in the end?
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਜੇਹੜਾ ਕੋਈ ਅੰਤਲੇ ਸਮੇ (ਮੌਤ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ) ਬਚਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ।
ਹਰਿ ਜਪੁ ਮੰਤੁ ਗੁਰ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਲੈ ਜਾਪਹੁ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਅੰਤਿ ਛਡਾਏ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਚਿਤਾਸਾ ॥
har jap mant gur updays lai jaapahu tinH ant chhadaa-ay jinH har pareet chitaasaa.
Lovingly meditate on the Name of God by following the Guru’s teachings; In the end, God gets only those persons liberated from vices who love Him with all their heart.
ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਲੈ ਕੇ (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਉਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਅਖ਼ੀਰ ਵੇਲੇ (ਜਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਡਰ ਤੋਂ) ਛੁਡਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਇਹੁ ਛੂਟਣ ਕਾ ਸਾਚਾ ਭਰਵਾਸਾ ॥੪॥੨॥
jan naanak an-din naam japahu har santahu ih chhootan kaa saachaa bharvaasaa. ||4||2||
O’ devotee Nanak! say, O’ the saintly friends! always lovingly meditate on the Name of God; this is the true way of being liberated from all maladies. ||4||2||
ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰੋ। (ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਕਲੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਬਚਣ ਦਾ ਇਹੀ ਪੱਕਾ ਵਸੀਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੨॥

ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਸਦਾ ਹੋਇ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਸੁਖੁ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਸੀਤਲ ਮਨੁ ਅਪਨਾ ॥
har simrat sadaa ho-ay anand sukh antar saaNt seetal man apnaa.
O’ brother! by lovingly meditating on God, one always remains in peace and bliss, and mind remains tranquil and cool,
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਿਆਂ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖ ਆਨੰਦ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਟਿਕੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਮਨ ਠੰਢਾ-ਠਾਰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਜੈਸੇ ਸਕਤਿ ਸੂਰੁ ਬਹੁ ਜਲਤਾ ਗੁਰ ਸਸਿ ਦੇਖੇ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਇ ਸਭ ਤਪਨਾ ॥੧॥
jaisay sakat soor baho jaltaa gur sas daykhay leh jaa-ay sabh tapnaa. ||1||
When the sun of worldly attachments is burning within, all the heat cools down upon seeing the sight of the Guru who is cool like moon. ||1||
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਸੂਰਜ ਬਹੁਤ ਤਪਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤੇ, ਗੁਰੂ-ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਦੀ) ਸਾਰੀ ਤਪਸ਼ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਨਾਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਨਾ ॥
mayray man an-din Dhi-aa-ay naam har japnaa.
O’ my mind! always remember God with love and keep meditating devotedly on His Name.
ਹੇ-ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਾ ਰਹੁ!
ਜਹਾ ਕਹਾ ਤੁਝੁ ਰਾਖੈ ਸਭ ਠਾਈ ਸੋ ਐਸਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੇਵਿ ਸਦਾ ਤੂ ਅਪਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jahaa kahaa tujh raakhai sabh thaa-ee so aisaa parabh sayv sadaa too apnaa. ||1|| rahaa-o.
You should forever lovingly meditate on such God who shall protect you here and hereafter. |1||Pause||
ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਹੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਰਹੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥8
ਜਾ ਮਹਿ ਸਭਿ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਸੋ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਖੋਜਿ ਲਹਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਤਨਾ ॥
jaa meh sabh niDhaan so har jap man mayray gurmukh khoj lahhu har ratnaa.
O’ my mind! meditate on that God’s Name which has all the treasures; by following the Guru’s teachings, search out that jewel of God’s Name.
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਹਨ। ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ-ਰਤਨ ਨੂੰ (ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਖੋਜ ਕੇ ਲੱਭ ਲੈ।
ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਤਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਚਰਣ ਮਲਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਦਸਨਾ ॥੨॥
jin har Dhi-aa-i-aa tin har paa-i-aa mayraa su-aamee tin kay charan malahu har dasnaa. ||2||
O’ my mind, humbly serve such devotees of God, who have realized my Master-God by meditating on Him with loving devotion. ||2||
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਧਿਆਨ ਜੋੜਿਆ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਉਹਨਾਂ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਘੁੱਟਿਆ ਕਰ ॥੨॥
ਸਬਦੁ ਪਛਾਣਿ ਰਾਮ ਰਸੁ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਓਹੁ ਊਤਮੁ ਸੰਤੁ ਭਇਓ ਬਡ ਬਡਨਾ ॥
sabad pachhaan raam ras paavhu oh ootam sant bha-i-o bad badnaa.
O’ my mind! get the sublime essence of God’s Name by understanding the Guru’s word; one who is blessed with this essence is fortunate and becomes supreme saint.
ਹੇ ਮਨ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਰਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ। (ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਹ ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਉਹ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਸੰਤ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਵਧਾਈ ਓਹੁ ਘਟੈ ਨ ਕਿਸੈ ਕੀ ਘਟਾਈ ਇਕੁ ਤਿਲੁ ਤਿਲੁ ਤਿਲਨਾ ॥੩॥
tis jan kee vadi-aa-ee har aap vaDhaa-ee oh ghatai na kisai kee ghataa-ee ik til til tilnaa. ||3||
God Himself has multiplied the glory of such a devotee, and it doesn’t diminish a bit even if someone tries. ||3||
ਅਜੇਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਵਧਾਈ ਹੈ, ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇ ਘਟਾਇਆਂ ਉਹ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਇਕ ਤਿਲ ਜਿਤਨੀ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਘਟ ਸਕਦੀ ॥੩॥
